SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 in containment.

SCP #: XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Both instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained in a standard Safe-class object container at Site-█, accessible by any Level 3 or higher personnel only during approved testing (See Addendum XXXX-1). Testing involving SCP-XXXX must be seen and approved by 2 level 4 clearance personnel or the Site Director beforehand.

In the event of a containment breach, the re-containment of SCP-XXXX-1 and 2 are considered a top priority due to their effects.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for two ██████ brand electric mosquito rackets (SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 respectively). The make and model are for all intents and purposes identical to a normal mosquito racket of the ██████ brand, with the exception that SCP-XXXX appears to be immune to extreme temperatures. The anomalous properties of both instances of SCP-XXXX are identical and have thus far not shown any deviations in behavior.

SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties surface when SCP-XXXX’s racket area makes physical contact with the limb1 of a living subject (See Testing Log) while in a powered on state. Upon making contact with said limb, both become bonded and cannot be separated, as the limb begins to heat to ███ degrees █. During this period, the limb will grow a bright blue before completely disintegrating due to the heat. Other parts of the body are not affected by the heat up until this point, often setting subjects on fire via their connections to the limb.

Testing Log SCP-XXXX

Test #: 01
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-1
Test Subject: D-12983 (healthy male human)
Purpose of Test: Confirm anomalous attributes.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-1 to left arm of Subject in an inactive state.
Results: No effect.

Test #: 02
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-1
Test Subject: D-12983 (healthy male human)
Purpose of Test: Confirm anomalous attributes.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-1 to left arm of Subject in an active state.
Results: D-12983's arm was subject by SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous effects and was disintegrated. Shoulder and chest regions suffered burns, which were treated afterwards.

Test #: 03
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-2
Test Subject: D-12983 (healthy male human)
Purpose of Test: Confirm anomalous attributes.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-2 to right leg of Subject in an active state.
Results: Subject was extremely reluctant to test and required sedation. D-12983's leg was subject to SCP-XXXX-2's anomalous effects. No other inconsistencies observed.

Test #: 04
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-1
Test Subject: 1 cape crow (Corvus capensis)
Purpose of Test: Confirm criteria for anomalous effects.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-1 to left wing of Subject in an active state.
Results: Subject's wing was subject to SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous effects. Subject expired from burn wounds.

Test #: 07
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-1
Test Subject: 1 rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis)
Purpose of Test: Confirm criteria for anomalous effects.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-1 to horn of Subject in an active state.
Results: No effect.

"First test in deviation based on defined criteria. Potentially subjective; further testing requested." - Dr. Bloom

Approved. - Site Director ████████

Test #: 10
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-1
Test Subject: 1 wooden chair
Purpose of Test: Confirm criteria of anomalous effects.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-1 to leg of chair in an active state.
Results: Chair leg subject to SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous effect. Chair destroyed in the resulting fire.

Test #: 13
Object Used: SCP-XXXX-2
Test Subject: 1 sculpture of an arm
Purpose of Test: Confirm criteria of anomalous effects.
Details Of Test: Applied SCP-XXXX-2 to subject in an active state.
Results: Test failed; see Addendum XXXX-1.

Addendum XXXX-1: On ██/██/20██, the right wing of Site-█ used for the containment of Safe-class objects was completely disintegrated during testing with SCP-XXXX. ███ casualties from the resulting fire were sustained during the event, along with the confirmed loss of ██ SCP objects, with █ currently missing. Cause of the event was found to be SCP-XXXX-2 making contact with the floor of the testing chamber during testing. Both objects have been found and re-contained █ hours after the event. Containment procedures subsequently updated.

“SCP-XXXX, more volatile than expectations. ‘Limb’ definition apparently subjective to object. Reclassification Euclid requested.” - Dr. Bloom

Denied; the objects can be safely contained without issue within a small container and has shown no degree of sapience or sentience. There is no need for additional containment procedures. - O5-8
