Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 2x2 concrete room, resting on a round pedestal, guarded by no less than 2 security agents. The chamber is to be fitted with, a window made of reinforced glass for an observation room, a steel door, and a PA intercom. If personnel are to enter SCP-XXXX's chamber, security are to have weapons raised to the door while assigned personnel enter. Once in, the door is to be relocked behind them, and instructions for testing are to be given over the PA intercom in SCP-XXXX's chamber. In the event of an emergency, security personnel are to enter the chamber and terminate the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 immediately. Under no circumstances should the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 be spared.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a Finnish civilian gas mask from 1939. A seal test performed on the object suggests that the object retains its original functionality. It's anomalous effects take place as soon as the subject's facial area makes physical contact with the inside of SCP-XXXX. The mask begins to quickly 'stick' onto the subjects face, the fastening straps in the back automatically fastening themselves. The eye holes of the mask begin to darken during this process. The process can take up to 30 seconds, and any personnel who have put on SCP-XXXX show an immense amount of pain during this process. Once the process is finished, personnel who have put on SCP-XXXX begin to develop hostile tendencies against any biological life form it has in sight. These personnel are now referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 has extensive knowledge on all weapons, and instances have tried to steal and use weapons against life forms. SCP-XXXX was Originally found in the chambers of Auschwitz during a tour in 1999. Found by civilian Daniel ██ who became the first instance of SCP-XXXX-1. Daniel ██ was terminated and the foundation confiscated the gas mask.
Addendum: All attempts to remove SCP-XXXX from SCP-XXXX-1 have all failed (See testing log 37) SCP-XXXX-1 shows an immense amount of endurance from any and all damage, but can be terminated with enough force. SCP-XXXX-1 has shown capability in speech, and after killing a life form, SCP-XXXX-1 confirms kill by simply announcing, "Eliminated." SCP-XXXX-1 instances can be spared for testing, but must be terminated afterwards.
