Agent Edvin: new SCP ideas

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside of a room measuring 10m by 10m by 10m at Area-██. The room is to be fitted permanently with a diamagnetic superconductor along the walls in necessary configurations as to keep the substance of SCP-XXXX suspended from contact with the walls or floor. This is achieved by combining ten (10) neodymium magnets with the object.
The room containing SCP-XXXX is to be sustained as a vacuum. In addition, a wall around the main containment area is to be sustained by another wall no less than five (5) meters from the main containment wall. The area within is also to be sustained as a vacuum, and is to be used as an air seal should any testing be necessary. Checks to the integrity of both of these walls are to be made bi-weekly, and if any flaws are found, they are to be treated immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous substance, currently about 4.6 m3. Whenever this area comes into contact with any object or substance, it appears to combine every aspect of the object or substance with itself. This includes air, and thus the object must be contained inside of a vacuum to prevent its growth. These qualities include exerted magnetic force, which is used to contain the object, conductivity, temperature, colour, and many more, much of which is not able to be recorded due to the nature of the substance. Velocity does not appear to have any effect on the substance, as it stops all moving objects upon contact. When last observed, the state of the substance was a dark, gray-green. This substance has been shown to spread at approximately ██ meters per second, varying depending on the absorbed substance’s density and quantity. Low temperatures also seem to slow the spread of the substance. The origin of the substance is unknown.
Due to the difference in volume of the substance when last recorded and that at the time of recovery, the substance seems to be losing mass. It is unknown at what rate this decay occurs, and may fluctuate. It is also unknown to whether or not this will be the destruction of the substance, or if this only means that the substance will continue to get smaller.

Addendum: Circumstances of recovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in ████████████, Greenland, near Foundation Outpost-██. Due to the temperature in the area being approximately -16°C at the time and the constant precipitation of snow to increase quantity absorbed, spread of the substance was constant, but severely retarded. At first, containment was attempted with a standard backhoe, though due to the nature of the substance, this was ineffective, and added to the mass of the substance. Containment was successful on the third attempt, at which point a great volume had been enveloped, and about 60% of Outpost-██ being compromised. Containment was achieved using a [REDACTED], SCP-██, and SCP-399. The substance was shipped immediately to Area-██, and contained in its present state once Dr. ████████ discovered that magnetism was combined rather than destroyed.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard high-value large storage vault at Site-77. Due to the effect of SCP-XXXX-01, the objects comprising SCP-XXXX-02 are to be kept together, though not in contact with each other, until any viable cause against this is found. SCP-XXXX may be observed and researched on by any personnel above Level 02, also due primarily to the effect of SCP-XXXX-01.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a series of objects, identified by the designations SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02, where SCP-XXXX-02 refers to 7 similar subjects. SCP-XXXX-01 is a black book, bound of a material observably similar to leather, though as of yet has been unidentifiable as such. Approximately the first 600 pages of SCP-XXXX-01 appear to be populated by unidentifiable characters, similar to some of those produced by SCP-914. The last approximately 500 are blank (see addendum). However, when more than three of these pages are observed within reasonable of each other, a feeling of importance and need for protection is felt in regard to the SCP-XXXX-02 items. This effect has been tested, and is not overriding, as that those with opposing ideas are not convinced otherwise, but rather are made to consider. Deciphering efforts are ongoing.
SCP-XXXX-02 is a collection of 7 similar icosohedrons, SCP-XXXX-02-a to SCP-XXXX-02-g, all measuring approximately 10.1 centimetres at greatest length. Each has properties individual to itself.

SCP-XXXX-02-a:
Green, variably sized object. Where other SCP-XXXX-02 objects appear to be of unidentifiable material, yet nearly perfect in shape, SCP-XXXX-02-a is varied in that it is made of living cells. These cells regenerate using mitosis to heal any removed or damaged cells, back to approximately the same size. The cells appear to stay alive chemosynthetically, but will absorb any nutrient-rich liquid put in contact with the objects surface. The cells have cell walls containing an unidentified organic substance that allow them to keep their shape.

SCP-XXXX-02-b
Black, smooth object, that appears to be independent of the Earth's gravity, aside of the fact that it stays geo-stationary relative to other objects, though can be moved. The object also appears to exert a gravitational field significantly stronger than that which is expected for an object of similar expected mass, though it is difficult to gauge the object's mass due to its independence of gravity. Any object of similar or lesser size within approximately 12 centimetres of the object begin to orbit the object.

SCP-XXXX-02-c
Purple object that appears to have extremely high levels of alpha neutrino radiation. Measurements taken show that the object should have a half-life of approximately 7 seconds, but as of yet has not been measured to decrease in size. Tests as of yet show that all personel of Site-77 have not been affected by this, as that no irregular rates of cancer have been observed, despite high levels of radiation. Tests have not yet been able to detect radiation from the object beyond approximately 5 kilometres away.

SCP-XXXX-02-d
Red object, when observed last. Object XXXX-02-d appears and disappears in a manner suggesting that it experiences time in what is comparable to a spiral, that intersects our base, linear experience. To this effect, the object appears for approximately 32 seconds approximately every fifteen (15) days. When it appears, it is in orbit around object XXXX-02-b. There is a border that runs along the central edges of the object that allows it to be opened at a hinge. Within is found empty space, approximately 2 liters greater than would be expected, wherein objects can be contained. It is due to the aging of these objects that the nature of the passage of time can be assessed.

SCP-XXXX-02-e
Reflective, metallic object. Measured to have a magnetic attraction of approximately 500 tesla, however like SCP-XXXX-02-c, cannot be detected beyond approximately 5 kilometres. When tested with current, appears to have absolutely no electrical resistance at any temperature.

SCP-XXXX-02-f
Yellow object whose faces appear to drift from its centre at variable speeds less than .02 seconds, and attract back to its place at a minimum triplicate of the aforementioned speed. Slow-motion observation shows that a maximum of 3 faces at a time are not in contact with its original three adjacent faces, however the floating faces are never adjacent. Scans show that three, roughly spherical objects float within the object and use attractive qualities to pull drifting faces back into place. Object is to be contained in a motion-absorbing container, or in orbit around SCP-XXXX-02-b to prevent high-speed bouncing.

SCP-XXXX-02-g
Blue object that, when in contact with sapient organisms, [REDACTED]. Due to such qualities, the object is to be kept away from sapient contact, except in testing.

Addendum: Upon further research, it is found that ███ pages within SCP-XXXX-01, there is a page filled with approximately 780 various styles and languages of writing, in languages both recognized and not, reading, "THERE WAS AN EIGHTH FORCE." This is in assumable reference to an additional object of SCP-XXXX-02. Efforts to protect these texts in reference to the memetic emotion inspired by SCP-XXXX-01 are to continue. No additional precautions are necessary.
