Agent Failure

Item Number#: XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a seven by seven foot room where the entity will be hanged on a standard nail at a level of five feet above the ground. Annual cleanings of the mirror itself has been required since 10/03/20██.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a oval mirror with a copper baguette frame similar to the style of Victorian era mirrors seen in England during 1880s. The mirror is one 45 centimeters wide and 91 centimeters long, with a slight crack coming from the upper most area of the mirror. Rust appears on the inner most area of the frame, with a mixture of crusted red material identified as human blood.

The mirror when being observed does not show a reflection, instead a separate region that resembles the site ██. SCP-XXXX appears to be in a form of a containment unit much like the one it is now, though under heavy decay, the cement used in the room is cracked and the metal rusted or missing. A soldier guards the broken door way, known as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 has mixed matched armor identified from several different countries such as USA, Russia, UK, and France, though painted and tailored into the armor that resembles that of the Foundation. The mirror is able to transmit audio with in a radius of five feet.

Addendum: The mirror's other side appears to be in a different dimension, as when SCP-XXXX-1's interviews have revealed. SCP-XXXX-1 refuses to reveal full info into what happened, as they are worried about causing it to happen on "the other side." It is lead to believe that SCP-XXXX-1's reality has a failed foundation. SCP-XXXX-1 has revealed that several anomalies were not contained properly, which lead to a "domino" effect.

Document #XXXX-log 1:

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-1

Interviewer: Dr. ███████

Foreword: After establishing auditory link between SCP-XXXX-1 and Dr. ███████, SCP- XXXX-1 began to talk rapidly.

<Begin Log.>

Dr. ███████: Hello there.

SCP-XXXX-1: Oh my god… Tell me, am I inside the foundation? I only heard about it like this in stories from my grandpa.

Dr. ███████: Excuse me? The… Foundation? You recognize this place?

SCP-XXXX-1: Yes sir, I recognize the symbols. [SCP-XXXX-1 tilts their head to reveal the Foundation's symbol carved into helmet.] I am part of the Foundation after all.
Dr. ███████: It appears you are… May I ask where you are currently stationed?

SCP-XXXX-1: I suppose I can. I am in what we call now Warehouse 4.

Dr. ███████: So you are not in site ██?

SCP-XXXX-1: No, or at least not anymore. We haven't used sites since the Breach… [SCP-XXXX-1 voice trailed off near the end.]

Dr. ███████: Excuse me? What is this. "Breach?"

*SCP-XXXX-1:** It… It was… A time where several anomalies escaped containment and went on a rampage. Dominos. It was like… Every time the Foundation contained an anomaly, another one would appear, or two, or three.

Dr. ███████: So… What happened to the Foundation?

SCP-XXXX-1: Well. It is still around. Barely. The only reason why I am here in front of you now is because I found this thing in a bombed out antique shop and noticed its effects. We cant really afford to make a new containment so… Here I am.

Dr. ███████: Well I believe this provides us both an opportunity, you provide us information and you don't go out to what ever the hell is happening outside your "Warehouse".

SCP-XXXX-1: [They remain silent for a moment.] I suppose that can work. I will tell my superiors as soon as I can.

Dr. ███████: Excellent. I believe this is a good time to end this little chat. We appreciate your cooperation.

<End Log.>

Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX-1 was very useful in revealing the anomaly and how it functions. They revealed the fact that it is a different reality where the foundation failed and are struggling to regain control. After SCP-XXXX-1 confirmed the deal laid out before him.

Dr. ███████: Hello SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1: Hello sir. How are you today?

Dr. ███████: I suppose I am doing well, how about you?

SCP-XXXX-1: I could be doing better. I suppose its nice not having to go on missions anymore…

Dr. ███████: Well if you are up for it would you like to answer a question I have?

*SCP-XXXX-1:** I suppose so, sure.

Dr. ███████: Who was your grand father?

SCP-XXXX-1:
