SCP - [To Be Determined]: "Ink Bleeder"

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

(Final Draft, but feel free to critique!) Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a secured 10x10x10 meter room furnished with one bed, one desk, one chair, all visible surfaces are to be colored white for proper observation, and since Incident SCP-XXXX-01 a one way bullet-proof window installed in one of the walls for personnel safety. All current personnel that are responsible for SCP-XXXX's containment are to be rotated between observation duty and entrance security every hour. Only level 2 3 or higher research personnel are permitted to enter SCP-XXXX's containment, and are required to be locked into the cell until supervisors have given permission for exit. SCP-XXXX must be supervised via security camera, along with at least a supervising 2nd level, and 3rd level. If any abnormal behavior from SCP-XXXX should occur during transport or roaming period, SCP-XXXX-Xs should be immediately taken to their designated holding cell, and the incident reported to a level 4 researcher. Due to Incidents SCP-XXXX-02, and SCP-XXXX-06 current owners of SCP-XXXX, named SCP-XXXX-Xs may not be absent from the containment room of SCP-XXXX for more than 5 hours at a time, and should be equipped with an ankle bracelet to monitor heart rate.

If in the event of a containment breach of SCP-XXXX-Xs, SCP-XXXX, or any unusual behavior current observational staff must write separate records for accuracy and proper documentation. Finding SCP-XXXX, and SCP-XXXX-Xs (including any of SCP-XXXX's "offspring") for re-containment should be top priority of all non-occupied personnel. If there is no visible sign of SCP-XXXX-Alpha SCP-XXXX-Xs no alarm should be raised, this is considered normal behavior.

(Rough Draft) Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a 15x25 cm black metal-spiral left bound sketchbook with a plastic hardcover manufactured by █████████. The pages of SCP-XXXX appear to be acid-free, medium weight, light ivory in color, and infinite in its number despite having been used multiple times throughout the total containment period.

If SCP-XXXX is touched by anyone other than SCP-XXXX-Xs it will release SCP-XXXX-1; a unidentifiable black ink-like substance appearing to originate from the interior of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 shows acidic properties when in contact with organic tissue, regardless if covered with protective gear and will begin to melt on contact, spreading into surrounding tissue unless separated. Sample retrieval of SCP-XXXX-1 has proven unsuccessful as any gathered by machine will quickly evaporate. It is presently unknown how SCP-XXXX produces SCP-XXXX-1 or how it seems able to produce endless quantities of it.

It is unknown if SCP-XXXX can have multiple SCP-XXXX-Xs at once, or if it can separate from them. Precautions taken since incident XXXX-08 promote the following: "If any SCP-XXXX-Xs begin to show aggressive behaviors using SCP-XXXX they are to be stripped of roaming privileges and transferred by at least three level 4 personnel to a 5x5x5 meter security cell of similar furnishings and color, until vetoed by level 4 personnel. If aggression continues SCP-XXXX-Xs are to be scheduled for sedation. Sedation is to be used only as a last resort method of dealing with any SCP-XXXX-Xs and not recommended if not determined absolutely necessary by level 4 personnel." The properties of SCP-XXXX-1 allow for encounters with other highly dangerous SCPs and are being awaited approval.

(Final Draft, but feel free to critique!) Source: SCP-XXXX was first found with the currently deceased, first confirmed SCP-XXXX-X Joseph █████, known as SCP-XXXX-Alpha in █████, Washington on July ██, 19██. SCP-XXXX was brought to the attention of the SCP Foundation in June 19██, through reports of unusual entities, strange lights, and unnatural noises from the public and undercover SCP agents in the area. At the time of retrieval SCP-XXXX-Alpha was in use of SCP-XXXX, demonstrating its properties to his presumed roommate Alan ██████. Retrieval team knocked SCP-XXXX-Alpha unconscious while Agent ████ confiscated SCP-XXXX, and other agents administered Class A Amnesiacs to Alan ██████. SCP-XXXX immediately started leaking SCP-XXXX-2 onto Agent ████'s right hand, and began to melt their organic tissue. Agent ████ did not react until Agent ███████ took notice of SCP-XXXX-2 and cut their arm through the elbow joint, making Agent ████ suddenly experience excruciating pain and drop SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX, levitated into SCP-XXXX-Alpha's right hand after being dropped. SCP-XXXX-Alpha was declared inseparable from SCP-XXXX and both were transported to site-██ for testing, and classification. Agent ████ was taken to the site's hospital wing for recovery.

Testing Log:

Please record all test results using format below:
Test (#) - Date

Test 1 - 09/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-Alpha
Procedure: SCP-XXXX-Alpha is given a ink-dipped quill. Dr. Fredricks requests SCP-XXXX-Alpha to illustrate a simple rabbit in SCP-XXXX.
Results: SCP-XXXX-A, a brown rabbit appears on top of SCP-XXXX showing no sign of alarm. SCP-XXXX-A steps off SCP-XXXX, jumps to the floor, and starts to explore it's surroundings. Dr. Fredricks asks armed personnel to exterminate SCP-XXXX-A. Extermination proves unsuccessful. SCP-XXXX-Alpha assures Dr. Fredricks he can take care of SCP-XXXX-A and closes SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A quickly fades away after SCP-XXXX is closed. Dr. Fredricks requests SCP-XXXX be re-opened to the same page. SCP-XXXX-A reappears in the same place it was before vanishing. Dr. Fredricks asks for SCP-XXXX be closed once more, sends 2 level 2 research personnel to retrieve the quill, and declares the test concluded.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX appears able to record illustrations, and does not create them based solely on the detail of the sketches. Animate illustrations do not seem to be effected by outer-world interaction. Further tests will proceed.

Test 2 - 10/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-Alpha and D-846
Procedure: D-846 is locked in SCP-XXXX's containment cell. Dr. Colin asks SCP-XXXX-Alpha open SCP-XXXX to the page used in the previous test. SCP-XXXX-A materializes once again in the same place it was last, and Dr. Colin requests D-846 try interacting with it.
Results: D-846 reaches out to SCP-XXXX-A and it responds by jumping away. D-846 approaches SCP-XXXX-A slowly and attempts to make physical contact. D-846's hand goes through SCP-XXXX-A, and D-846 pulls his hand quickly away. He describes contact with SCP-XXXX-A as dipping his hand in oil. Dr. Colin sends two research personnel to hand SCP-XXXX-Alpha a sharpened #2 pencil and then exit the room. Dr. Colin asks SCP-XXXX-Alpha to illustrate D-846 onto the same page as SCP-XXXX-A. D-846 upon the completion of the illustration experiences no noticeable change. Dr. Colin again asks D-846 to interact with SCP-XXXX-A. D-846 successfully is able to make physical contact and is henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-B. Dr. Colin requests SCP-XXXX be closed. SCP-XXXX-Alpha refuses this request and strongly recommends [REDACTED (erasing SCP-XXXX-B's illustration)] beforehand. Dr. Colin refuses SCP-XXXX-Alpha and asks that his request be fulfilled. SCP-XXXX-Alpha [REDACTED (begins to erase SCP-XXXX-B)]. Dr. Colin sends armed personnel to detain SCP-XXXX-Alpha. *SCP-XXXX-Alpha [REDACTED (is believed to crudely illustrate Dr. Colin into SCP-XXXX-Alpha and then close SCP-XXXX)] before detainment is possible.*
Analysis: [REDACTED (Closing illustrations of)] objects of outer-world origination in SCP-XXXX results in the removal of subject from [REDACTED (existence, until proven otherwise.)]. It has been determined that containment of SCP-XXXX-Alpha with SCP-XXXX is unpredictable and the practice be terminated. D-846 (no longer known as SCP-XXXX-B), and SCP-XXXX-Alpha are scheduled for possible execution. All present attempts to retrieve Dr. Colin have been unsuccessful.
Additional Notes: Following Incident SCP-XXXX-01 several on site staff have brought up a fair point. If SCP-XXXX [DATA EXPUNGED (is able to imprison people within it)], isn't it entirely possible for more individuals to be contained?

Test 3 - 10/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-Alpha
Procedure: SCP-XXXX-Alpha was scheduled for possible extermination in previous test, and was sentenced to death by firing squad. SCP-XXXX-Alpha is blindfolded and bound at the hands and legs, and placed in the line of fire. Procedure is observed by one video camera aimed at where SCP-XXXX-Alpha stands.
Results: Firing squad aims at SCP-XXXX-Alpha, and on a count to three fires simultaneously. SCP-XXXX-Alpha does not react to the sound of gunshots, but still stands appearing to have experienced no damage. Further analysis of footage shows no bullet-holes on the wall behind SCP-XXXX-Alpha, suggesting all firing squad members missed their target. Firing squad members are told to check their chambers for bullets. All members report bullets in the chamber. Firing squad is ordered to shoot once more on the count of three. Again SCP-XXXX-Alpha appears to have no wounds, and no stray bullet-holes can be observed. SCP-XXXX-Alpha is escorted back to SCP-XXXX's holding cell by two armed personnel. Slowing down the footage recorded reveals before SCP-XXXX-Alpha is contacted by all 12 bullets SCP-XXXX-2 seems to be expelled from his skin and covers his entire body before quickly evaporating. Results are identical the second time SCP-XXXX-Alpha is fired upon.
Analysis: Testing will be conducted to confirm the origination of SCP-XXXX-2
Additional Notes: During longer duration tests SCP-XXXX materialized in SCP-XXXX-Alpha's possession between the 5.5 and 6 hour mark, causing termination of procedure for re-containment. SCP-XXXX-Alpha has been once again granted his original freedoms. Tests on SCP-XXXX-Alpha revealed that the subjects blood upon examination was no longer present and replaced by unknown means into SCP-XXXX-1. Two doctors in mid operation of SCP-XXXX-Alpha were exposed to, and perished due to SCP-XXXX-1. Subject shows irregular brain functions, but no current instruments are able to detect the source. Special containment procedures will be rewritten according to these results, and a request has been made to change SCP-XXXX's object class from Safe to Euclid.

Test 4 - 01/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-Alpha
Procedure: Personnel are told to give SCP-XXXX by Dr. Kliner. SCP-XXXX-Alpha is informed he has the freedoms to illustrate whatever he desires. Personnel are required to record all creations.
Results: [Not sure whether to expunge or write out some crazy crap…]
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-Alpha's creations on SCP-XXXX have been confirmed able to breach their containment in the universes created. It is not known what causes these breaches but containment procedures will be changed accordingly. Further observation, is hoped to reveal more.

Test 5 - 04/██/198█
Subject: SCP-XXXX-Alpha
Procedure: SCP-XXXX-Alpha did not rise from bed this morning, and showed no sign of response to personnel. Supervisors after 20 consecutive hours of no response from the subject requested level 3 researchers inspect SCP-XXXX-Alpha. Researchers declared SCP-XXXX-Alpha deceased at 11:35 PM. SCP-XXXX is reported not present in the containment room. Staff report a breach to Dr. Fredricks who then conducts a facility search.
Results: Agent Grant and Agent Don locate SCP-XXXX in D-257's possession henceforth known as SCP-XXXX-A1. All four of SCP-XXXX-A1 cell mates were found dead on arrival, and SCP-XXXX-1 had almost completely melted all organic tissue on their bodies. SCP-XXXX-A1 was taken back to SCP-XXXX's containment room. Death of SCP-XXXX-Alpha was proven to be of natural causes. Remains of SCP-XXXX-Alpha were disposed of via burial.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX has proven to be separable from SCP-XXXX-Xs after current said individuals pass of natural causes, and will then teleport to it's new "chosen" owner. This proves further that SCP-XXXX shows signs of sentience, but is still unknown how and if it is. Tests will folow based on the new subject.

Test 7 - 05/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-A1
Procedure: Blood samples, and brain functionality tests have been performed on SCP-XXXX-A1.
Results: Subject SCP-XXXX-A1 is 19 years of age, blood type was not found and was confirmed replaced with SCP-XXXX-1. Abnormal brain functions are still being studied.
Analysis: Subject shows similar internal traits of SCP-XXXX-Alpha. Further tests are not worth the effort, as our current equipment cannot give any more knowledge on the subjects.

Test 6 - 02/██/19██
Subject: SCP-XXXX-A1
Procedure: SCP-XXXX-A1 over the containment period seemed to be growing restless. They seemed to grow more irritable over time. After loosing their roaming privileges SCP-XXXX-A1 seemed to show signs of growing insanity, and became to dangerous to reason with. They began showing hostility to any interaction, speaking incoherently to themselves, memory loss, hallucinogenic signs, and fast speaking. SCP-XXXX-A1 seems to have nightmares often and has been recorded up to eight times in one night screaming while sitting quickly up.
