SCP-3907, removed by drone, out of its sheath.

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be contained in a 4mx3mx4m room. The room is to be observed at all times through CCTV. SCP-xxxx is to be placed on a 1m tall stone pedestal, sheathed, and should only be removed from said pedestal when testing on SCP-xxxx or when it is being analysed via drone. SCP-xxxx is not to be unsheathed under any circumstances other than to analyse it via drone or to test on SCP-xxxx with D-Class personnel. To enter SCP-xxxx's containment chamber; the researcher is to be escorted by no less than 3 MTF guards, 2 armed with tranquillizer rifles containing 5 morphine darts and 1 armed with an assault rifle containing 43 rounds. Only Class-3 or higher personnel are to enter SCP-xxxx's containment chamber. Only Class-4 or higher are permited to touch SCP-xxxx but are not to unsheathe it. If any Personnel are attempting to unsheathe SCP-xxxx they are to be shot down immediately by the guard carrying the assault rifle however if the subject is failed to be shot down it is to be tranquillized and sent to lab-██. SCP-xxxx's Containment chamber is to be built in Sector-██, Area-9

Description: SCP-xxxx is a 79cm long dagger made from currently unknown black metal alloys. The blade of the dagger is 54cm while the guard, hilt and pummel are 25cm. The dagger has high electrical conductivity with no known limits, however it has been shown to heat up at 299° and to glow yellow at 601°, it is curently unknown if the metal alloy SCP-xxxx is made from has any properties of metals listed on the modern periodic table, it has been deducted however that the metal has some similarities to that of M-5 however the metal shows almost no properties to that of any periodic metals; it is not malleable, it shows no 'shininess' when polished, has no heat conductive properties although the metal can heat up and melt at high temperatures, it does not react to oxygen and is shown to be rather an isotope of M-5 rather than a metal ion, and thus it is highly discussed whether it is to be even considered a metal but this has been soon dismissed as no other known periodic elements show similar properties to the metal, and thus has been named M-5-β. The hilt is wraped in leather string that has been identified as stag hide.
