Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a humanoid containment unit, twenty-five (25) meters underground with only one available exit and entry point. The corridor leading to SCP-XXXX's containment area is to be reinforced and seperated every ten (10) meters by reinforced blast doors which will close automatically in the event of an imminent containment breach. Once the blast doors are closed, they can only be opened by an off-site operator who has recieved explicit orders to do so by Sigma-15 Command.

The object came into the Foundation’s possession willingly and remains in voluntary containment. Despite cooperative record of the object, under no circumstances are any mammalian creatures to be introduced in a twenty (20) meter radius of the containment unit or SCP-XXXX-1 itself. All interaction with SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 is to be explicitly approved by no less than two (2) seperate level 3 personnel or higher.

SCP-XXXX-1 has proposed to refrain from depicting SCP-XXXX in any way until testing is reapproved.

Note: Proposal accepted. -Dr █████████

In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 does depict SCP-XXXX on any object unauthorised, SCP-XXXX-1 is to be immediately apprehended and appropriate disciplinary action to be carried out.

In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 depicts SCP-XXXX on an organism, MTF Sigma-15 "Word Wipers" is to be scrambled immediately and the facility locked down.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be a Caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes, 186cm tall and weighing 79kg at last physical examination. SCP-XXXX exhibits behavioral symptoms in accordance to schizoaffective disorder found in humans, but appears unaffected and even unaware when subjected to anomalous effects that traditionally affect sufferers of this disorder.

SCP-XXXX is a “language” yet to be observed by Foundation personnel, as any and all attempts to do so have resulted in catastrophic failure or otherwise immediate self-destruction of media used to convey it over the course of █ to █ seconds. Testing has resulted in the loss of

  • Ten (10) sheets of plain white paper
  • Ten (10) sheets of plain black paper
  • Ten (10) sheets of pure lead
  • One (1) standard hand mirror
  • One (1) Foundation computer
  • One (1) D-class personnel (Note: Human testing prohibited from this point forward. See Test Log 033)

Testing of written instances of SCP-XXXX has been halted.

When instructed to instead speak the language, SCP-XXXX-1 appeared confused and commented that it does not speak it.

SCP-XXXX is theorized to be a type of "parasitic language". SCP-XXXX-1 has no knowledge of where and when he learned of SCP-XXXX's existance, indicating a possible memetic source yet to be discovered.

Addendum: As of ██/██/2018, further use of organisms (living or dead) in testing of SCP-XXXX has been prohibited.
