Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a 3x3 cell with a small chair in the far left corner of the room for "feeding". There is a one meter thick crawlspace between he inner and outer wall for the SCP to inhabit. The outer walls are lined with 2 inch thick steel and are to be checked daily for holes that may mean an attempt to breach containment. Once a day, a Class-D is to sit in the cell for one hour and a liter of water is to be placed into the room for SCP-XXXX. Additionally there should be a second cell identical to the first for SCP-XXXX to move to every 3 months. This is to avoid SCP-XXXX becoming to heavy for the cell to maintain. After SCP moves to it's neighboring cell it's excess limbs are to be removed from the wall for disposal or testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large plant-like entity with pinkish skin and an indeterminate number of branch-like limbs tipped with sharp bores. It's "eyes" appear almost human and are located in various places along it's limbs. SCP-XXXX seems to prefer to reside in occupied homes and will attempt to move to a new residence if no human is present for 24 hours. SCP-XXXX has no food requirements but does take in water at least once a day. SCP-XXXX will actively avoid being discovered by moving away from any holes in walls and only moving at night. SCP-XXXX seems to be able to control it's rate of growth as well as when it will grow, usually limiting itself to night time.

SCP-XXXX will, at least once a day, use a form of echolocation to determine if the room it has grown around is occupied by human presence.. These are described as whispers, though it does not appear to be "speaking" any known languages. SCP-XXXX will not stop growing as long as it is able to remain in the same habitat. If SCP-XXXX is forced to move it will detach excess limbs in order to exit without being detected. SCP-XXXX came into the Foundation's custody when it grew too heavy collapsing the house it was living in. It was discovered attempting to bore into a neighboring home and a containment team was dispatched.

Addendum XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX's excess limbs began exhibiting anomalous properties from storage. They began convulsing violently eventually growing limbs of their own. These appear to be new instances of SCP-XXXX. A total of eight were formed and six are in storage. If you begin hearing any strange or anomalous noises please report it to a supervisor. We cannot risk SCP-XXXX weakening or breaching containment for other SCP's.
