SCP-XXXX in containment.

1

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX Is to be kept in a dual cycle airlock secured containment chamber at Biological Continament Site-103. The containment chamber for SCP-XXXX should simulate the outdoor environment of ((Location TBD)) in real time. Standard botanical maintenance is to be carried out twice daily by Researchers currently assigned to SCP-XXXX. Personnel entering the containment unit are to be outfitted in Level 3 Biosafety equipment, including rebreathers.

Individuals affected by SCP-XXXX, designated SCP-XXXX-1, are to eb contained in standard humanoid containment cells after complete decontamination. These individuals are only to be interacted with remotely via containment surveillance and communication systems.

Personnel exiting SCP-XXXX's containment chamber are required to undergo full biological decontamination prior to final airlock cycle. Samples being removed for testing require approval from the senior researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX and must remain in a hermetically sealed container for transport.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a species of Chrysanthemum decaisneanum Discovered █.██ Miles outside of Yike Sama Forest Park on ██/██/2015 After reports of a humanoid assaulting individuals in the area over the course of approximately two weeks. At present SCP-XXXX has not been discovered in any other locations.

SCP-XXXX Produces pollen at a rate 300% greater than the expected amount for a species in it's family, This pollen is uncharacteristically heavy, creating a smaller area of effect at the point of origin prior to recovery.

Individuals who come into contact with pollen produced by SCP-XXXX suffer from severe Anthophobia towards all flowers except SCP-XXXX. Individuals affected by SCP-XXXX also suffer from intense hallucinations which cause the afflicted individual to perceive all sentient and sapient life as beings composed entirely of flowers that do not share any physical similarity to SCP-XXXX. Currently there is no known treatment that will reverse this effect.

Addendum XXXX-A: Recovery of SCP-XXXX
After the Foundation received the initial report of a potential anomalous humanoid, MTF-XXXXX XXXX Was dispatched to investigate potential anomalous activity in the area. Their initial search located five separate deceased individuals. All of whom showed signs of severe blunt force trauma consistent with an assault from a humanoid entity.

MTF-XXXXX XXXX encountered likely the first instance of SCP-XXXX-1 400 meters from the origin point of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 attempted to assault MTF-XXXXXX XXXX and was terminated after a lack of response to Foundation standard tranquilizing equipment.
