Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX's current host (hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1) is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell and examined weekly by a staff psychiatrist specializing in depression and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

SCP-XXXX-1 is to remain isolated from male staff between ███ cm and ███ cm in height, with █████████ lineage. Research personnel wishing to perform tests or scans of SCP-XXXX-1 must submit a query to a Level 3 staff member. Personnel must avoid direct skin contact at all times.

Description: Description: SCP-XXXX is a sapient consciousness capable of inhabiting the body of other humanoids. It is transferred through physical contact, and when bonded to a new host overrides that individual's personality and mental faculties. Upon transfer of SCP-XXXX, the former host appears to suffer total brain death. Further experimentation is ongoing.

SCP-XXXX claims to be from the [REDACTED] and believes itself to have been separated from its body by unknown means. Prior to containment, it was found in Detroit, Michigan, inhabiting the body of a convicted felon. When located by a retrieval team, SCP-XXXX transferred into the body of an agent and attempted escape.

Addendum A (01/17/20██): SCP-XXXX-1 retains muscle memory of its original host, as characteristic of patients with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Addendum B (01/21/20██): SCP-XXXX has been demonstrated to affect exclusively sapient humanoids. After further testing, SCP-XXXX has favored male subjects with greater than 25% █████████ lineage.

Addendum C (01/22/20██): SCP-XXXX may possess an additional anomalous effect. Standard electroencephalography of subject's brain failed due to mechanical error. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) yielded similar results; scanner ceased all function after SCP-XXXX transferred hosts. When asked about this effect, SCP-XXXX's response was ambiguous:

"Look, I don't know; I'm just looking for my body. Whatever happens… That's on you."

In further tests, though it's generally not Kosher, I'd like to involve SCP-119, for its time dilation properties. I hope I don't have to spoil too much of where I'm heading with this, but the title not-so-subtly hints at the real scare.
