Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not autonomous, and its properties appear only to manifest when used by a subject. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a secure box with standard surveillance at site 19. Due to the object's nature, SCP-XXXX will have no less than three members of personnel present during any testing procedures.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of men's ████████ "██████████████████" athletic shoes, size 10, produced in ████. SCP-XXXX is made of canvas, light brown in color, with black rubber soles and a black leather ankle patch with a white star.

When worn by a subject, SCP-XXXX enters an active state, and will cause the subject to feel as if there is a solid object inside SCP-XXXX. Test subjects report the solid object inside SCP-XXXX as a rock, a pebble, an insect, thorns, pins or needles, gravel, and coins. Upon removal of SCP-XXXX from the test subject, no evidence of an object appears to be inside SCP-XXXX.

Test subjects object strongly to requests of removal of SCP-XXXX, even when SCP-XXXX causes significant pain to the test subject. SCP-XXXX causes great distress in test subjects, often causing the test subject to audibly cry out in pain and discomfort. Test subjects often report an overwhelming urge to walk or run while wearing SCP-XXXX, even though they report significant pain by doing so.

All test subjects become hostile when asked to remove SCP-XXXX. All test subjects must have SCP-XXXX forcefully removed by personnel.

Upon examination of test subjects after the removal of SCP-XXXX, subjects were found with lacerations, indents and bruises on the soles of their feet. Test subjects report significant pain even after the removal of SCP-XXXX. No evidence of blood remains in SCP-XXXX after removal.
