SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in test room 306-B in Site 19.
SCP-XXXX is not to be used without supervision from at least one
Level 3 personel. Subjects of SCP-XXXX should be visited on at least
twice a month for a routine checkup.

Description:
Recovered from a game convention in

SCP-XXXX is a complete HTC-Vive1 Virtual Reality package that includes the following items:
-One HTC-Vive headset
-Two remote controllers
-Two sensor units.

All items that are required for testing have been installed in test room 306-B.
Upon putting on SCP-XXXX nothing anomalous is noticed.
Upon opening a game, SCP-XXXX funtions as it should,
with no difference in gameplay from a regular HTC-Vive.
Exactly 23 minutes gameplay, the headset shuts off, and won't turn back on.
At this time, the game becomes unresponsive, and the computer cannot be shut off, even if the power supply is disconnected, or the vital parts of the machine are removed. At this point, the computer is known as SCP-XXXX-2. For the next 10 minutes, strange writings and movements are noticed on the wall that SCP-XXXX-2 is facing. After the 10 minutes, the wall will disappear and in its place is what we describe as a "portal." This is known as SCP-XXXX-3. Multiple tests have been done on the object itself, and it appears to be a substance not yet known to earth. Upon entering SCP-XXXX-3, you will enter the game that you were playing. As of now,
there is no known way of getting out once you entered. Subjects that enter SCP-XXXX-3 become a permanent part of the game.

Gameplay mechanics work as intended with no change. Your hands become the "controllers" in certain games. Depending on the game, concepts in reality have no effect.
Passage of time is usually non-existent.
Hunger, thirst and other vital life functions (depending on the game) are non existent.
Death exists in certain games, but subjects "respawn" in games that allow it.
(See test log test-XXXX-a for a list of games we tested.)
Subjects in the game can only experience the senses of sight, hearing and sometimes smell.
Pain exists, but it seems simulated.

After 30 minutes of SCP-XXXX-3 being open, SCP-XXXX-2 returns to a normal state and can be shut off. Upon shutting SCP-XXXX-2 off, SCP-XXXX-3 will disappear without a trace of it's existence. Attempting to play the game on a normal HTC-Vive, the subjects of SCP-XXXX will still be in the game.

There will then be a document of all the games that were tested here.

Document: (WIP)

Test 1:
Class D was put into the "Google Draw" application.

Class D: wait… wait… I'm going to be in here forever? Until I die?
Research Associate [REDACTED]: Uhm… Well… Since the application in question is a drawing app and doesn't have any mechanics like death… Your going to be in there forever.
Class D: I mean… It was fun at first but… I'm going to be drawing for the rest of eternity? That changes everything! I want out now!

Test 2: Subject was put into Portal 2.

The subject completed the game and was put on the main menu, and it appears he can only choose to play the game over again. Subject was killed in game multiple times, and when questioned about the death, they had no recollection of the event. When injured by the "turrets" in-game, the subject acted like he felt pain.
