Photo of SCP-XXXX confiscated from trespassers

Object class: Safe

Special containment Procedures: As the area in which SCP-XXXX is located is semi remote and XXXX itself does not stand out, it has been contained on site. Due to the agricultural nature of the area, Foundation front company █ & █ Farms has been established and the property on which SCP-XXXX is located has been purchased. The original front door has been camouflaged with a mock frame and door of similar degradation to the rest of the house. Anyone with Level-1 clearance may access this SCP with permission from Dr. ███████, so long as they do not bring up any events taking place after 1953 with SCP-XXXX-1 and 2.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an abandoned house located in ███████ county, Nebraska, U.S.A. Formerly the home of the ██████████ family, it has been deserted since the early 1950s. The only abnormalities noticeable from the exterior are the completely undamaged front door and a persistent squeaking sound that repeats once every 17 seconds with no discernible origin. Despite years of neglect, the front door is not weathered. While observing through any window the interior appears as expected. The anomalous nature becomes apparent when a living individual (henceforth referred to as subject) enters through the front door. Once the door closes behind the subject they will find themselves in a well kept home dating from the 1950s. They will be greeted by an elderly man who introduces himself as Mr. ██████████ (XXXX-1) who will without fail call his wife (XXXX-2) into the room and introduce her as well. These individuals and the interior of the structure appear to be stuck in a small loop in time, resetting at the start of the year. To date, no subject has remembered the transformation of the interior of the house, only that it took place after the door closed. Once inside the transformed house and introductions have been made, the subject will be invited to stay for dinner regardless of time of day. Attempting to leave before the dinner is over will result in finding the door and all windows to be jammed shut. After the subject has finished the meal they may talk with XXXX-1 and 2 for as long as they please and may leave at any time. Observers who did not enter through the front door report hearing whispers, but have never seen the subject inside the house; nor the front door ever opening. Observing the subject from outside will see them entering as expected. All video, photo, and audio recordings of the interior of the house have degraded within minutes of exiting the house, with the exception of one heavily distorted photograph. The most reliable way to keep records from inside the house is with handwritten notes. Notably, XXXX-1 and 2 have partial knowledge of their status, only extending to the repetition of years. They also remember the subject and parts of any conversation, but have never remembered anything they have been told about events past 1953. SCP-XXXX-1 and 2 now remember events past 1953; see Test XXXX-D 29-5-███. Research into a possible connection between SCPs XXXX, 102, and 1122 is ongoing.
