SCP-#### prior to acquisition

Item #: SCP-####

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be stored at Research Facility-96 with a minimum of 2 security personnel assigned to its containment at all times. Only Level-2 staff or higher are permitted to interact with SCP-####. A minimum of 3 Level-2 staff are required during testing. Under no circumstances are D-class personnel to be used in the testing of SCP-####, unless authorized by Level-3 staff.

SCP-#### should be placed atop loose sediment no less than 30 meters in depth to allow for ease of excavation of the remains. A remote controlled actuator must be used to allow personnel to activate SCP-#### from an adjacent observation room during testing. Outside of testing, SCP-####'s curtain must remain open as to completely reveal the interior of the booth.

Description: SCP-#### appears to be a standard non-digital photo booth. SCP-#### was discovered in a mall in [REDACTED]. Prior to its discovery, 8 people were reported missing from the surrounding area as well as a police detective. Initial Observations found that SCP-#### was lacking a power cord. SCP-#### was then moved to Research Facility-96 and in doing so the floor beneath the booth was found to be blackened.

Ground penetrating radar performed on the blackened area of the floor below SCP-#### yielded imaging of an unknown mass at a depth of approximately 20 meters. Excavation produced 9 sets of completely fossilized human remains. Initial radioisotope tests were ran and the remains were found to be devoid of any radioisotopes. Utilization of DNA testing from trace amounts of mitochondria and facial reconstruction techniques helped to identify the remains, which matched the reported missing individuals from the local area.

Reports of 6 additional photo booths matching the same description as SCP-#### have come in from Foundation field offices located around the globe. The reports are being investigated to determine if the booths in question do in fact cause the same phenomena as the booth currently in the Foundations possession.
