Item #: InProcess SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

Subject is to be contained in a standard cell lined with a Faraday cage. No electronic locks are to be used on the cell door as it creates a vector for containment breach. Subject is not to be allowed electronics of any type, this includes letting him borrow even small objects such as a watch.

Staff are not to purchase, borrow or make a trade of any kind with SCP-XXXX no matter how good the deal sounds. Staff found breaking this policy will be reprimanded, their pay docked, and pending an investigation may even be demoted.

Description:
SCP-XXXX appears to be a typical white male human, age 23. Subject stands at 1.67 meters, brown hair and blue eyes. There are no distinguishing characteristics about his body save for a tattoo that glows in the dark on his back. Tests of this tattoo have confirmed known substances and have not warranted further testing. When asked about the tattoo SCP-XXXX stated that he was paid to have it placed on him as brand recognition.1 SCP-XXXX has been identified as [redacted], a well to do used car salesman. A health check on SCP-XXXX has revealed a wire mesh under its skin. SCP-XXXX was fully cooperative with questioning concerning the mesh.

SCP-XXXX was first discovered by off duty agent ███████ SCP-XXXX during an R&R trip to ██████████. Subject was sighted in the middle of [redacted] altering peoples phones with nothing but his bare hands. This was apparently an attempt to make a sale of his products. The number of sales he managed to make is not known and no physical products were found in the vicinity save for 3 smart-phones that were modified by his anomaly. Agent ███████ took action on site after calling headquarters about the anomaly. After a few minutes of scouting agent ███████ determined that the SCP-XXXX was of sound mind and body and likely susceptible to social engineering. Agent ███████ posed as an undercover FBI agent and detained the SCP-XXXX and held him at his hotel until backup could arrive. The phones were pick pocketed by agent ███████ beforehand and no further action was deemed necessary with the civilian targets.2

It is not known if SCP-XXXX had made any sales prior to containment. When questioned about the identity of his customers he claimed to follow a strict rule of customer confidentiality and would not change his mind with bribes or threats of violence. Standard interrogation has proven fruitful in gaining knowledge of SCP-XXXXs product provider but heavy handed techniques will be required to get his customer list.

SCP-XXXXs anomalous property manifests when he touches any electronic object. Upon contact with any object SCP-XXXX is able to gain complete mastery over it. Tests have shown that subject is able to bypass all security on a smart device and re-purpose electronic devices to become smart devices. The true threat of the subject is his ability to comprise any secure device that he comes into contact with. See initial interrogation log 01 for details.

Xrays of SCP-XXXX show a complicated network of unidentified mesh underneath his skin believed to be the source of his anomalous properties. When examined through exploratory surgery the mesh was found to resemble silicon and move away from any tool that entered the body. Closer examination showed that the mesh ran underneath the skin and acted as a barrier around nerves. It is speculated that this nerve protection is what prevented SCP-XXXX from feeling the brunt of the pain during interrogation. Samples were taken of the net with no incident however before they could make it to the lab for processing they spontaneously combusted by unknown means.3 Proper procedure was being followed and no one was hurt during the incident.4

SCP-XXXX Incoming interview transcript:

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr. Hamil

Foreword: Standard incoming interview and questioning

**<Begin Log, 0900H 12/12/2017> **

Dr. Hamil: SCP-XXXX this is an introduction interrogation for in-processing. My name is Dr. Hammil and I will be explaining your situation as well as asking you some questions today. Do you understand?

SCP-XXXX: I was going to do this whole bit with my real name but seeing that guy behind you glaring at me is making me rethink that option. Yes i understand, you want to know who i am and what i was selling right? The last guard made it pretty clear my new name was not up for discussion.

Dr. Hamil: That is correct. While you reside in this facility your name is SCP-XXXX. There is no room for negotiations. The guards hear are trained to handle threats of any nature.

SCP-XXXX adjusts his posture in his seat nervously while staring at the guard.

SCP-XXXX: Do I have any rights here?

Dr. Hamil: No. From here an I will be asking the questions. You will answer them as honestly as you can. Do you understand?

SCP-XXXX: Yes.

Dr. Hamil: Good. When we cought you you were modifying peoples cellphones on the street. Could you explain how you did that and what your goal was?

SCP-XXXX Folds his hands on the table and assumes a formal tone.

SCP-XXXX: I was trying to make a sale. My company has outfitted me with the the best nano-mesh that money could buy, my job is to sell it. I was demonstrating our product to the public to try and stir up interest. Really i was only jail-breaking peoples phones for them. I was getting a pretty decent crowd until that FBI guy showed up.

Dr. Hamil: How are you using this nano-mesh to modify phones the way you were though?

SCP-XXXXs tone becomes more confident.

SCP-XXXX: I really couldnt tell you. Im a salesman not an IT guy. Thats how easy the product is to use. You just think it and it happens?

Dr. Hamil: Are..are you trying to make a sale?

SCP-XXXX slouches in his chair sheepishly but quickly goes back to his formal tone.

SCP-XXXX: Sorry, force of habit. I am a salesman after all. No i dont know how it works. The guy who installed the mesh for me said it would eventually become its own computer complete with OS. I can literally see the tech world around me now. Ive got terminator vision now. I can think of what I want a computer to do and it does it, this stuff is awesome. Let me tell you something though they only installed a small patch on my arm but after a week i could feel it around my whole body.

Dr. Hamil: I see. Could you tell me who installed this technology for you?

SCP-XXXX: Yes. They company name is Future War Technologies. I know the name is a bit generic and over the top but the product is solid. I had some business cards on me that had a QR code on them if you want to look for it in my stuff but i could show you their website right now if you like.

Dr. Hamil: Do you have the link memorized? Could you write it down for me?

Dr. Hamil passes a pen and some paper to SCP-XXXX who then proceeds to write down the address and passes it back.

Dr. Hamil: This address cant be right.5

SCP-XXXX: Thats whats on the card. I log into it to get the weekly product handouts. I know its valid.

Dr. Hamil: We can discuss this in another interview then then after we investigate it. Ill move onto the next question. Where do you get your supply?

SCP-XXXX: I dont handle physical delivery of orders. Im what the team calls a floor model salesman. I just get people hyped up and point them to our sales office. I can make sales myself as well though. I just modify a phone or two with my hands and bam, 3 or 4 orders for nano-mesh are mine right on the spot. I can clear $███████ a week like this if im in the right area. I also get a bonus for the people i bring in to the main office.

The guard begins to caugh at the price as SCP-XXXX mentions it.

Dr. Hamil: Please control yourself. SCP-XXXX, is there anything more you can tell us about the company?

SCP-XXXX: Yes actually. They have a booklet for just this scenario. If you look for it in my bag its got all of the company information you could want, I know what the book knows and thats it.6

Dr. Hamil: Could you tell us who your clients are as well as any business's your company works with?

SCP-XXXX: Yes actually. They have a booklet for just this scenerio. If you look for it in my bag its got all of the company information you could want, I know what the book knows and thats it. As far as clients go i cant tell you that without a warrant. The company lecturer was very clear about that. They could sue to death me if I told you that.

SCP-XXXX becomes visibly worried as he talks about the clients

Dr. Hamil: Im afraid you misunderstand your situation. This is not a government faciltiy. You have no rights here. Either you tell us who your clients are or we force that information out of you.

SCP-XXXX is visibily distressed at this point and begins to look around seemingly for a way to escape. The guard moves and stands behind SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX holds onto the table tightly and sits still again.

SCP-XXXX: Holy shit. Look I dont know what you guys want but i cant give you the client names. The company takes this kind of thing very seriously and I mean seriously. We had this one guy that got picked up and the first thing he did was sell out his clients. We never heard from him again.

Dr Hamil pauses for a few minutes and looks over his notes. The guard still stands behind SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX has released his hold on the table but still fidgets in his chair.

Dr. Hamil: Do you know who took him?

SCP-XXXX:Yes actually, it was ██████████████. They were some bad people from what I hear. Upper management has GPS trackers on us now because of it.

Dr. Hamil: Could you repeat that?

SCP-XXXX:Yea, ever since that incident they placed GPS trackers on all of us outdoor sales boys.

Dr. Hamil stands up and begins moving towards the exit.

Dr. Hamil: Guard, scure SCP-XXXX and get another guard back to his cell. Get some jammers going as well, we cant have this guy comprising this facility. Tell the rest of security there might be a breach. Im going to inform administration about this.

The guard proceeds to secure SCP-XXXX to the table and exits the room hastily.

SCP-XXXX: So were done then?

SCP-XXXX fidgets at the table for a few minutes and then notices that Dr.Hamil has left his phone on the table. SCP-XXXX manages to manuever himself and grab the phone. SCP-XXXX begins to modify the phone and makes a call.

SCP-XXXX: Hey its ███████. Look ive been taken in by some shady characters. Its like that Tibet thing with Chester all over again but with me this time. Can you get a crew out here to pick me up?

SCP-XXXX listens to the phone for a few minutes. His face takes on a scowl as the call goes on.

SCP-XXXX: What do you mean undercover sales. These guys are liable to kill me. They did the bag on the head thing and everything getting me here.

SCP-XXXX listens to the call a while longer, giving an affirmative every few minutes.

SCP-XXXX: OK ill try to make a sale with them but i dont think they will bite. They call themselves the foundation I think…….Hello? Hello?

SCP-XXXX hears the door and immiedeatly throws the phone across the table where it slides off and lands on the ground.

Dr. Hamil walks into the room and sees SCP-XXXX secured to the table but sees the phone on the floor. Dr. Hamil looks at the camera and moves to turn it off.

**<End Log> **

Closing Statement: Dr. Hamil has since been reprimanded and demoted to D class for his breach facility security. Corporeal punishment was given to SCP-XXXX but was found to be ineffective, presumably due to SCP-XXXXs anomoulous mesh. Post interview no physical breach has been detected however everyone that Dr. Hamil had email access to has had an email from SCP-XXXXs stated company offering everything from new watches to weapons specifically designed to take down SCPS. These emails were sent out less than 1 hour after the interview took place.7

Addendum:
The data breach caused by SCP-XXXX has been localized only to what Dr. Hamil had access to and revoking his credentials seems to have stopped access to our systems. Our IT team has issued new SOPS to accommodate for SCP-XXXXs anomalous properties. While SCP-XXXX personal threat level is negligible his ability to turn our security to paper is easily the worst thing that could happen to this site. I am requesting that his initial threat level be reevaluated. Testing the limits to SCP-XXXXs control over smart devices has been barred until further notice due to high risk of information breaches. Tests with simple electronics is pending.

SCP-XXXX has repeatedly requested an audience with the site admins. He has been making sales pitches to his guards and they are starting to put in their own requests to the site admin about the possibility of getting specialized protective gear.
