Greetings boy's and girl's, my name is Dr. Brill, and gather around as I tell you all grand stories about everyone's favorite highly secretive organisation, The SCP Foundation! But not just any old stories. Stories from other dimensions!
I got something very special for you all. I went to dimension D 245-6 and … borrowed a journel from a man named Isaac Fargrove. Now let's get reading shall we?

I finally got accepted into Guild of Scientific Oddity Research! I found the acceptance letter in my coat pocket when I got home. I do not know how or when it got there, not that I am complaining of course. However I do find it some what odd that none of my other colleagues have ever even heard of this guild, furthermore in the letter I was told me to go to the old abandond house on the edge of town to meet with one of the guilds representatives and to not tell a soul where I was going or what I was doing. Anyway, I should get some sleep since I'll have to walk two or three kilometers to the meeting place.

When I got to the meeting place, I was greeted by an odd man who had his face covered up by bandages, and smelled vaguely of wet dog. He congratulated me on being accepted in the guild, but then asked me if I really wanted to do this. He warned me of the dangers of going through with it; injury, death, etc, nothing that is not already a danger of being a scientist. Naturally I told him that of course I wanted this, so he then told me to go back home and pack enough clothes for a 3-4 day trip and anything else I might need or want to bring with me, and to meet him, before noon in the same place tomorrow to travel to Cambridge.

I'm writing this late at night since it seems Mr. Crow does not like me writing in my journal about him, nor about this journey to Cambridge. He said he would not stop me from doing so, but would prefer me not to. Anyway, this morning when I arrived at the meeting place Mr. Crow was there waiting, along with another man, this one wearing an odd looking suit of armor that was made out of a material that I had never seen or heard of before, he called it Kevlar. He introduced himself as Kain Pathos Crow, and the other man as Agent Cole, and that he would the one taking us to Cambridge.
The first half hour of the trip was accompanied by silence, untill I tried to ask Mr. Crow some questions. He continuously dodged questions about himself and the guild, for example I asked him why he smelled like a wet dog and said that he hadn't the faintest idea what I was talking about. Eventually I just gave up trying, at which point he turned the script and asked me a question. The first question he asked was how I found out about the Guild of Scientific Oddity Research, and so I told him. I was drunk in the tavern one night after hitting a road block in my research and a man asked me what was bothering me. I told him, and handed me a note saying that joining the guild might help me in my research. Mr. Crow simply nodded and said nothing else.

We finally arrived in Cambridge today after our long and uneventful trip. Mr. Crow said that we would go to the guild house in the morning, and that in the mean-time I should get aquatinted with Cambridge as it will be where I live for a while. I simply cannot wait for that time to come. To think I might be able to hit a break through with my research with the guild's help.

Mr. Crow awakened me before sunrise this morning to take me to the guild house. I am starting to regret going to the tavern last night, I believe I am might still be a bit hungover. At any rate, we are currently going to the guild house and I cannot wait to see it.
4:00 a.m
This is incredible! The guild house on it's surface appears to just be like any other building, with the exception of the guild's moto "secura, continere, protegere," above the door, however once we were inside Mr. Crow walked over to one of the walls and pulled a lever, revealing a staircase that went down for I believe at least 15 meters. At the bottom of the staircase was an underground dungeon of sorts with a myriad of creatures and objects, I even saw a man with what looked like a planet where his abdomen should be.
Mr. Crow also said that basic training would begin in a few hours and that I could get some more sleep if I wanted to, and that some guards would come get me then, but until then I'm not aloud to leave the dinning hall. I wish I could though, oh what I would give to study everything here.
12:46 a.m
The basic training took five hours to get through, most of it was nothing special, but I did learn quite a bit about The Guild. Apparently it is a secret society dedicated to the containment and research of creatures and objects that are anomalous in nature, and it has branches all over Europe and Asia, and I am currently at Branch-19. I was also given a tour of a part of this place, and it is so much bigger than I could have possibly imagined. The tour took up the last two hours of the training and I only got to see a fraction of this branch. I also learned that every object, creature, and even person in containment are to be refered to as SCPs, and each one is given it's own number; for example, the man with the planet in place of his abdomen is refered to as SCP-007. This is all so exerlating, I wish I could tell people.
