[12/██/2016. Subject: D-348796. Overseer: Dr. Coligero. Setting: “Light”: D-348796 is instructed to plug in SCP-XXXX and activate it (note that no bread was supplied). D-348796 complies. SCP-XXXX acts as a normal ███████-brand toaster, begins ticking, and heats up inside. Test concluded when SCP-XXXX’s built-in alarm sounds, signalling it is finished. D-348796 experienced no burns, nor was any Foundation equipment damaged
1/██/2017. Subject: D-348796. Overseer: Dr. Coligero. Setting: “Light”: D-348796 is instructed to plug in SCP-XXXX and activate it (note that bread was supplied). D-348796 complies. D-348796 complains that the room is getting hot. Dr. Coligero tells them, through a microphone, to describe what it feels like; D-348796 describes it as; “Hot as hell, like I’m standing in a desert during high noon. Nothing I can’t handle.” D-348796 hesitates before requesting water. The request is denied. The test is ended when SCP-XXXX’s built-in alarm sounds, signalling it is finished. D-348796 sustained a moderate sunburn on every part of his epidermis, including what was under his D-Class jumpsuit. Both instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were incinerated. Note that no damage to Foundation equipment was reported.
1/█/2017. Subject: D-348843. Overseer: Dr. Coligero. Setting: “Medium”: D-348843 is instructed to plug in SCP-XXXX and activate it (note that bread was supplied). D-348843 hesitates, then complies. D-348843 immediately starts to show symptoms of third-degree burns, and attempts to escape the testing area. The test is ended when D-348843 expires, presumably from SCP-XXXX’s effects, and SCP-XXXX’s built-in alarm sounds, signalling it is finished. D-348796 sustained severe burns to her entire epidermis, including what was under her D-Class jumpsuit. Both instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were incinerated.
2/█/2017. Subject: D-350021. Overseer: Dr. Coligero. Setting: “Dark”: [REDACTED]
-Dr. Coligero; “I am formally requesting to be transferred to SCP-███.”
2/██/2017. Subject: Foundation Drone, D-Class Jumpsuit, IKEA brand lamp. Overseer: Dr. Hurley. Setting: “Dark”: SCP-XXXX is activated in empty testing chambers by a remote-controlled drone by Dr. Hurley. SCP-XXXX activates. After SCP-XXXX's built-in alarm sounds, the test is stopped. No damage to the Foundation drone, jumpsuit, or lamp was recorded.
-Dr. Hurley; "Confirmed, SCP-XXXX's anomalous effect does not affect inanimate objects."
2/██/2017. Subject: 1 Goldfish (Carassius Auratus) in a glass bowl with water, 2 Aloe Plants (Aloe Vera). Overseer: Dr. Hurley. Setting: “Medium”: SCP-XXXX is activated, with bread, by a remote-controlled drone by Dr. Hurley. The Aloe plants immediately start wilting, drying out, and otherwise experiencing what extreme heat would do to an aloe plant. The goldfish ceases all movement, and water around the goldfish begins to boil. The goldfish expires when most of the water has boiled away, and it goes through what extreme heat would normally do to a goldfish. Test concluded when SCP-XXXX’s built-in alarm sounds, signalling it is finished. All subjects incinerated. Both instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were not incinerated, rather, consumed by Dr. Hurley. Dr. Hurley was reprimanded, and temporarily reclassified as Level 2 Researcher.
-Researcher Hurley; "It was the best damn toast I've ever had."
3/█/2017. Subject: The dead body of D-400957. Overseer: Level 3 Researcher Thompson. Setting: "Medium": Testing begins as normal, with a drone controlled by Researcher Thompson. The body of D-400957 begins reacting to burns as it would normally, immediately showing symptoms of third degree burns. Testing ends as normal.
-Researcher Thompson; "Looks like we can say that SCP-XXXX burns stuff both living and dead."
4/█/2017. Subject: 2 living D-Class, 4 living Members of the Site-██ security team, 1 dead body of a Site-██ security guard. Setting: "Dark". NOTE: This was performed during a containment breach.: Security was escorting the two D-Class, both with military backgrounds, to the testing chamber when they had breached containment. One wrestled a guard to the ground and used the firearm to pin the rest of the escort team behind SCP-XXXX's testing table. The D-Class not holding the firearm activated SCP-XXXX. [REDACTED].
-Researcher Thompson; "A lapse in judgment by the security force, no doubt. Poor guys."
(Researcher Thompson later submitted a request for transfer to SCP-████)]]
