SCP-XXXX in a non-active state

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be housed inside of a 25x35x25 cm safe locked with a combination lock housed in the interior of Containment Room 59-AD at Site-35. Any interaction with SCP-XXXX outside of containment must be cleared by personnel of clearance level 3 or higher and experimentation must take place in Hangar 5. Further testing on SCP-XXXX is restricted from all personnel indefinitely. Additionally, SCP-XXXX's containment unit is to be guarded by 3 security guards from the 10th day of the month to the 14th day, as well as the 28th day until the first day of the next month.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a game cartridge for the Atari 2600 game, Combat. A piece of casing has been broken off on one corner of the cartridge. The exterior casing shows no irregularities with a identical unit of the same game.

SCP-XXXX was found in the rural town of ██████████, Nebraska. The Foundation was notified of SCP-XXXX when Agent ██████████ drove by an abandoned warehouse, formerly owned by █████████ Corporation. Upon observation of the warehouse, Agent ██████████ located a vehicle similar to the prototype of the [DATA REDACTED], built by The Foundation in ███. SCP-XXXX was located on a nearby pedestal. SCP-XXXX and [DATA REDACTED] were brought to Site-██ before transfer to Site-35.

When SCP-XXXX is inserted into an Atari 2600 console, the game functions similar to regular copies of the game, although with massive amounts of [DATA REDACTED]. Extracting data out of SCP-XXXX is currently impossible due to the material of the exterior shell, made out of a mineral previously unknown. This material is completely indestructible by any conventional means, with the exception of the broken corner. Attempting to extract data off SCP-XXXX creates massive data corruption, which renders the extraction device inoperable.

The two connector tabs on the bottom of SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX's other anomalous properties manifest when the cartridge is disconnected from its respective console. When pressure is applied to both connector tabs on the bottom of the cartridge and thrown, it will start a 5 second timer, which creates a vehicle on the location of SCP-XXXX at the end of the timer's duration. Anyone holding SCP-XXXX after the duration of the 5 second timer are laced with a orange substance that vaporize upon contact, with exposure causing uncontrollable [DATA EXPUNGED]. The vehicle created is determined on the date of SCP-XXXX's current activation.

Experimentation with SCP-XXXX have shown that the label on the cartridge can be used as a reference, which includes:

-- (Days) (Numeric Digit of the Day) (Results)

-- Days 1-5 = "Tank"
Activation of SCP-XXXX during Days 1-5 of any month creates a tank, which includes any maker, and any period of time after 1915.

-- Days 6-9 = "Tank-Pong"
Activation of SCP-XXXX during days 6-9 include creation of tanks of similar results of "Tank" , although with an active defense system similar to a forcefield,
as well as adding one or more anomalous properties.

F-35 Lightning II, known as No.20, mid flight.

-- Days 10-14 = "Invisible-Tank"
Activation of SCP-XXXX during days 10-14 include the creation of tanks similar to the results of "Tank", but does not reflect any light in the electromagnetic spectrum. Successful entry into tanks created on this setting caused the release of [DATA EXPUNGED] into the air, leading to the deaths of ██ personnel.

-- Days 15-20 = "Biplane"
Activation of SCP-XXXX during days 15-20 include the creation of biplanes of any period of time between the Wright Brother's first flight, and the end of World War I. Some biplanes formed during 15-20 have a slight chance to contain anomalous properties.

-- Days 21-27 = "Jet-Fighter"
Activation of SCP-XXXX during days 21-27 include creation of any period of time past April 1944.
A majority of vehicles formed during 21-27 have a high chance of containing an anomalous property.
