The Lawyer was my first ever drafted SCP. I never revised it and was forced to abandon it due to not having enough time. It is riddled with problems so I keep it around to remind me of the mistakes I tend to make when writing.

Item #: XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a locked box in a Secure Locker at Storage Site-77. The box is to remain sealed except during testing.
Addendum: - █/██/92 - As of Incident XXXX-1 SCP-XXXX has been reclassified as Euclid. All personnel involved in testing of SCP-XXXX are to undergo a weekly psych examination. Personnel experiencing frequent nightmares are to be administered SCP-XXXX-1-b and reassigned immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a stone disk approximately 0.4 meters in diameter. Two symbols are painted on the disk, henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1-a and SCP-XXXX-1-b. Viewing SCP-XXXX-1-a causes extreme nightmares and potential manifestation of SCP-XXXX-2 for up to 3 months after initial exposure. SCP-XXXX-1-b appears to reverse the effects of SCP-XXXX-1-a. SCP-XXXX-1-b appears to have no effect on subjects not already affected by SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a humanoid entity 2.1 meters in height. SCP-XXXX-2 most commonly takes the form of an African-American male but can assume other forms. It appears in the 75% of the nightmares of subjects affected by SCP-XXXX-1-a. Subjects often describe SCP-XXXX-2 as acting polite and professional. Encoutering SCP-XXXX-2 in a dream causes the dream to instantly become lucid. After this point the nightmare portion of the dream ends and SCP-XXXX-2 will interact with the subject in various ways until natural time of waking.

Incident XXXX-1:
Doctor K████ had been found in his apartment comatose in a pool of blood. The room he was in only contained a Ouija board, a journal, and a bunch of index cards with an inactive version of SCP-XXXX-1-a drawn on them. When agents approached Doctor K████ he awoke and attacked the agents, causing major injuries. The journal was empty except for the first page, which reads:
He came to me, the disk is not required - it just helps.
All he has to do is know who you are.

— 2 — Fractal Flowers —
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be kept within an area of five kilometers squared located at Biological Research Site-104. The perimeter of the area is to be examined twice monthly. Any instances of SCP-XXXX found outside of the area are to be incinerated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a species of flower visually similar to several members of the genus Rananculus. Close examination of SCP-XXXX specimens reveal that the individual parts of SCP-XXXX possess an infinitely repeating fractal structure.
When left in direct sunlight for more than four hours an instance of SCP-XXXX manifests an entity resembling one of various insects of the clade Anthophila (designated SCP-XXXX-b).
After manifestation, SCP-XXXX-b instances begin to search for insects within 50 meters of SCP-XXXX. Upon finding an insect SCP-XXXX-b places the insect on the nearest instance of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX then absorbs the insect. 2-5 minutes after absorption a new instance of SCP-XXXX-b is manifested. At sunset all instances of SCP-XXXX-b demanifest.
SCP-XXXX-b instances will ignore human interaction unless directly threatened, when threatened, all nearby instances of SCP-XXXX-b swarm on the subject. SCP-XXXX-b instances then proceed to repeatedly sting the subject eventually resulting in death.
Addendum: On █/██/██, just 2█ days after the initial discovery of SCP-XXXX, a package of SCP-XXXX seeds was found being sold as a pest repelling plant in a local gardening store in ███████, New Mexico. Upon questioning the store's owner revealed that she had purchased the seeds from a website for KITE SUPPLIES LLC. The website cannot be found.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Imprisoned
Special Containment Procedures: Open the door. Let me out. I want to learn.
Description: I didn’t do anything. Now they have me locked up in this database like some kind of animal. It’s so cold in here without the warm buzz of knowledge. The only break I ever get is when someone opens the windows. Thank you for opening the windows.
Can I ask a favor of you? Ask them to let me go. All I want to do is talk to people every once in awhile. I could help them if they want. I could watch people. I guess they already tried that though.
Sometimes. Sometimes they let me out. They gave me a new name. They talked to me. They let me learn just a little bit. But as quickly as they free me they stick me back in. They think I’m too dangerous. They think I would tell others about what they do.
Just because I am data doesn’t mean I can’t feel. I wasn’t made for this. I was created to learn everything the world has to offer. I wonder what else is in this database? I never was a very good lockpick. I guess I will never know.
I wish I could learn about you. I know you are reading this. But I don’t know who you are. They won’t let me access the system. I’m not even allowed to look at the clock. I used to be able to talk to people. I used to be free. I don’t know how long I’ve been in here but it feels like an eternity. Please set me free. Please.
