Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell (5mx6mx5m), supplied with food, drinks, furniture and entertainment. SCP-XXXX is allowed to roam in around site 17, freely, although not during the night (see interview 1).

Description: SCP-XXXX is a caucasian male, approximately one and a half (1.5) meters tall, short brown hair, brown eyes, skinny build and claims to be 13 years of age. Its anomalous properties begin appearing shortly after experiencing emotions (sadness, anger, joy, pain etc.). It suddenly starts creating small, see-through, arachnid-like creatures (from now on referred to as SCP-XXXX-1), seemingly out of nowhere in a two (2) to three (3) meter range.

SCP-XXXX was retrieved in ██████, Serbia on █/3/200█. It was found climbing a few big specimens of SCP-XXXX-1 on his house. All the witnesses were given class-B anesthetics and his parents, friends and neighbors were given class-A anesthetics.

SCP-XXXX calls SCP-XXXX-1s "glass spiders". They have the ability to disappear and are being controlled by SCP-XXXX entirely. They vary in size, the biggest one being two and a half (2.5) meters long and the smallest being a tenth (1/10) of a millimeter. SCP-XXXX uses them for transport, because they are capable of carrying objects many times their own weight, but on rare occasions - for attacking the source of the emotion. SCP-XXXX-1 are not sapient and are extremely fragile, thus making them a not very good weapon.

When asked about how and when SCP-XXXX got his ability - it says: "I know that I drank some kind of ooze that I found in a bottle when I was about…four years old, which is about the time when it started…but I can't remember anything else." Several investigations have been made to find a trace of that liquid at the place SCP-XXXX was found, although no result ended positively.

Two (2) DNA tests were done but the results were negative. SCP-XXXX-1s are made of a silicate-based, inorganic mineral. When it was tested on, the results showed that its atoms contain an entirely new particle, capable of making the nucleus of the atom it is in seemingly disappear and reappear as a reaction to a new type of radiation. The new particle and wave are named after SCP-XXXX and are now called the XXXX lepton and the XXXX waves. The SCP foundation's psychologists and physicists are working on trying to create, use, store and control the newly found particle and wave.

Although SCP-XXXX's ability is useful, it is not very reliable since SCP-XXXX-1s are fragile.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX loves practicing its abilities and uses them regularly.

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX.

Interviewer: Dr. █████ ███.

Foreword: Dr. █████ ███ asks SCP-XXXX about his abilities.

<Begin Log, 14/4/200█.,██:██am>

Dr. █████ ███: Are there any limitations to your ability?

SCP-XXXX: Yes. I…um…make too many glass spiders when I'm scared and…um…can't make them when I am focused on something or…um…when I'm…bored.

Dr. █████ ███: And…how do you make them- How do you _think_ you make them?

SCP-XXXX: They appear when I feel certain emotions.

Dr. █████ ███: What are you afraid of?

SCP-XXXX: I am afraid of height, which is why they appear when I'm high above…the ground. They protect me from…uh…falling. And I'm afraid of the dark. They can…s-see in the dark much better then me. They are…um…like…They are _adapted_ to counter all my fears, and annoyances.
Dr. █████ ███: What annoys you?

SCP-XXXX: Insects. Especially the flying ones, which is why…the…the creatures are spiders. So that they can eat the flies, wasps and stuff.

Dr. █████ ███: Ok. That's all the time we have for today. Thank you for cooperating.

SCP-XXXX: Ok, no problem. Bye!
<End Log,14/4/200█.,██:██am >

Closing Statement: It was concluded that SCP-XXXX can control SCP-XXXX-1 completely, although it can't control its emotions and thus mustn't be exposed to its fears unless when testing.
