SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: Approval of at least one O5 council member is required for personnel of at least Level 3 clearance to use SCP-XXXX or test it with D-Class personnel. Some settings on the camera, such as "City" may never be used without prior approval from the Administrator. After Professor [REDACTED]'s realization of a possible use for SCP-XXXX-1 to counter a XK-Class Scenario, testing has been restricted to non-O5 personnel of Level 5 clearance. In the event of a XK-Class scenario from any SCP, at least one high clearance personnel is to create as many "City" islands of any size in specified areas. Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 may be deported to other, non SCP-XXXX-2 islands or mainland closest to specified area.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be a modified Kodak ██████ camera, with an 8 cm screen. The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX-1 manifest when the user uses the "WaterPhoto" feature, not present in similar Kodak cameras. When WaterPhoto is used to photograph a body of liquid water at least 10 meters long and 8 meters wide, it will give options of inserting an island, known as SCP-XXXX-2 into the photo. The first options for the SCP-XXXX-2's appearance is size. The 4 options are Small, Medium, Large and Very Large. Secondly, the user can choose if it is a single island, a single island with a small sister island, a pair of full islands, or an archipelago. The final options are Uninhabited, Non-Civilian Inhabited, Village/Town, and City. When the photo is developed, SCP-XXXX-2 will appear in the body of water represented by the photo, along with appearing in the picture. The film, however, is not what causes this, SCP-XXXX-1 does. However, if the body of water is too small for the size of the island, the camera will display an error message. Humans inhabiting instances of SCP-XXXX-2, known as SCP-XXXX-3, appear to be fluent in the local language, and have a 35% chance of being related to someone on the mainland. With the Village/Town setting, they have a 90% chance of being able to connect to the internet, and a 100% chance with the City setting. All text records of the body of water have a 45% chance of adding some form of text mentioning about the island, and all photographs, videos and illustrations of the body of water will insert the island in through unknown means. Inserting SCP-XXXX-2 into a photo will cause all known relevant records, including human memory, to appear as if the island has always existed with the sole exception being the memory of the subject that has taken the photo.
Addendum 1: Test logs will be added over time. Currently, one test has been documented, and Level 4+5+ personnel may add test logs anytime.
Addendum 2: Following [REDACTED], SCP-XXXX has been reclassified as Thaumiel.
Addendum 3:
"Given the potency of the item, it could be used as a counter to some XK-class end-of-the-world events. A machine or spaceship could be set to automatically develop previously captured photographs if all humans die. New humans would then be created on the island." Professor [REDACTED].
O5-█ quickly realized the above, and reclassed SCP-XXXX to Thaumiel.
Hello, %%title%%. I'm Bob. I grew up on this small island, I simply love it here, mate.
Test A - Date
Subject: D-567907.
Procedure: Photograph taken of [REDACTED], Pacific Ocean. Settings on WaterPhoto set to Small,Single Island, and Uninhabited.
Results: Small atoll appeared in [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] built a military base on the island 1 month after this test.
Analysis: "The settings changing the island's population do not seem to make it stay the way it is." Dr. [REDACTED]
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Safe
Special Containment Procedures: As of █/██/██, SCP-XXXX's broadcasts have been intercepted and blocked by MTF Gamma-9 "Couch Potatoes". SCP-XXXX-2-A through SCP-XXXX-2-C are to be kept in safes in Site 19. Personnel are not to view the output of SCP-XXXX-2, even indirectly.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a television programme entitled "What Mask Shall I Wear Today?™". The programme appears to follow the antics of a young, Asian woman with long, black hair, and brown eyes, known as SCP-XXXX-1, providing introduction on various masks that are hung in a unknown manner on the back wall of the studio. Each episode appears to be around 30 minutes long. When a human male views SCP-XXXX, they will collapse and remain in a comatose state until the episode ends. Females, on the other hand, will view the show normally. However, after said viewing, the subject will have a large appreciation for masks, and try to cover their face in as many ways possible. SCP-XXXX-2-A through SCP-XXXX-2-C are each a form of video storage. Description of said items, along with their contents, are below.
SCP-XXXX-2-A:
Item: A black VHS tape with no label. Considerable wear and tear.
Contents:
Episode 1: Dominus autem assumpsit me (The Lord Has Taken Me)
SCP-XXXX-1 approaches the camera. Picks the 3rd mask on the top row. Talks about it's bushy eyebrows.
Episode 2: Tu quis es. (You are not who you are.)
SCP-XXXX-1 approaches camera. Picks the █th mask from the █th row. Talks about the "sweet, gooey [DATA EXPUNGED]" on the inside.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 64 cm3 animal containment chamber at Site-104, and is to be fed on a diet of chicken pellets and crushed oyster shell daily. Level 1 clearance is neccesary for access to the container. Any medical problems are welcome to be treated by SCP-XXXX under the permission of the Site-104 Medical Officer.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Gallus gallus chicken with orange feathers, around 7.7 pounds in weight and in good health at the time of discovery. SCP-XXXX is subject to a memetic hazard that causes all humans viewing the subject to perceive it as an adult male human, caucasian, and 1.9 meters in height. In this state, the subject refers to itself as 'Dr. Chicken', assumes typical garb for its supposed profession, and possesses a heavy Canadian accent.
After roughly a minute of exposure to SCP-XXXX, a set of pills1 manifest in a one-meter radius around where the exposed subject last entered REM sleep if the exposed subject possesses any medical ailments2. These pills (designated SCP-XXXX-A) possess an unknown chemical structure; analysis has proven incredibly difficult due to a compulsion to allow the affected subject to consume the SCP-XXXX-A.
When consumed on a daily basis, SCP-XXXX-A causes the affected subject's ailment to disappear. How this is accomplished is unknown. After consuming SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX's memetic effect will be rendered void to the affected subject, causing SCP-XXXX to appear superficially non-anomalous. This is reversed if the affected subject contracts another ailment.
Addendum 1:
Interview with John Mc████, creator and previous owner of SCP-XXXX.
Interviewed: John Mc████.
Interviewer: Researcher Jonas
Foreword: Prior to the interview, Mc████ was briefed on SCP-XXXX's designation.
<Begin Log, 11/01/2003 >
Researcher Daniel: How did you create "Dr. Chicken" ?
John: Well, my daughter was ill. One of my chickens had just hatched, yet it looked like a doctor to me for some reason. I asked him if he could cure my daughter's illness and he said to take my daughter to him. We found some medicine when she went to him right next to her bed.
Researcher Daniel: Why was your daughter ill?
Mc████: She had a really bad case of food poisoning from accidentally eating a raw piece of meat, which was cured by that chicken.
Researcher Daniel: Thank you for giving us the information. You will now be given amnestics.
Mc████: If they cause amnesia, judging by the name, I'm fine with that.
<End Log, 11/01/2003>Closing Statement: Mc████ was given Class B amnestics after the interview, and has been classed as a POI (Person Of Intrest).
Addendum 2:
A note was later found in the room of John Mc████'s daugher, Isabella Mc████
Hey, I know your stomach hurts, but I think I found a chicken that will cure it.
You can see him in the coop, you will find some medicine next to your bed after.
Love from Dad
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside an electrically sealed titanium carbide safe at Site-18. The safe will not open unless 100 volts are applied to the lock. The safe must not be opened except under the permission of the Site Administrator. Any SCP-XXXX-A instances must be terminated on sight.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a plastic container, with 31 pills (henceforth designated SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-31) located inside it at the time of discovery, which have unclear chemical structure. Analysis has shown that the container of SCP-XXXX does not have any unknown materials, yet appears to be indestructible. SCP-XXXX's primary anomaly is a cognitohazardous print on its label, reading 'Cold Medication'.
Upon reading the label, the reader will begin to show symptoms of a common cold, yet will appear to be biologically healthy. The only way to stop these symptoms is by taking an SCP-XXXX-1 through -31 pill.3
Unfortunately, if not repeatedly ingested once every 24 hours, the subject affected by SCP-XXXX will slowly mutate into a zombie-esque creature known as SCP-XXXX-A, which will retain the appearance of the subject it previously was, but with red skin, which is able to turn others into SCP-XXXX-A instances via touch. On the other hand, SCP-XXXX-1 through -31 will slowly kill the subject in around 10 days, further increasing the lethality of the anomaly.
Addendum:
SCP-XXXX was first discovered at a drug store in █████, Illinois, where 38 mysterious deaths occured, all who had brought the same drug. The drug was later discovered to have an anomalous, indestructible and cognitohazardous container, with the store owners being unaware of the effects of the drug.
There were also 2 SCP-XXXX-A instances reported in the same area, and another instance of SCP-XXXX was found in a drug store in Paris, France. Luckily, nobody had brought the pills before MTF Eta-10 consficated the new instance of SCP-XXXX.
New instances in drug stores across the world must be reported.
The following was retrieved from a destroyed Foundation facility in [REDACTED], Quebec. It appears that the facility previously contained an anomaly known as SCP-XXXX. All information on SCP-XXXX besides the found documentation is classified Level 4/XXXX, see Additional Notes for access.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 25 m2 containment chamber at Area-███ on a stone pedestal, away from most doors excluding the door used for testing4. In the case of a XXXX-Puerto event reaching past Stage III, MTF Omicron-12 "Lock And Key" is to be called to the chamber and any SCP-XXXX-B instances terminated. If an XXXX-Puerto event reaches Stage VII, the onsite nuclear warheads are to be detonated. In the case of a failed nuclear annihalation of SCP-XXXX-C, it is proposed that the Ennui Protocol be initiated to avoid public fear or knowledge of SCP-XXXX-C.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an average house key, around 14.2 grams in weight. Testing has shown that SCP-XXXX will not open any locked doors, except during an XXXX-Puerto event.
During an XXXX-Puerto event, any door within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX will open without outside force, leading to a reality henceforth designated SCP-XXXX-A.
The full geography of SCP-XXXX-A is unclear, but it appears to be reminiscent of █████, North Dakota, where SCP-XXXX was found in the basement of an abandoned house near the border. The area appears to be a city similar to █████, but it appears to be entirely delerict, devoid of any life except for a small human settlement found around a mile from the city. The humans inhabiting the settlement stated that an "entity" had caused the city to become abandoned long ago, and that they had evacuated from the area.
Further exploration of SCP-XXXX-A has revealed an alternate Foundation facility identical to Area-███, but all keycard locked doors appear to have been busted open. Whatever could have done this is still under investigation, but is theorized to be an instance of SCP-XXXX-B.
The alternate Area-███ appears to have containment chambers for SCP-███ and SCP-████, both devoid of their respective anomalies. A non-working electromagnetic generator was found in the chamber for SCP-███, suggesting that this was used to contain the anomaly.
As of the events of Exploration 5, various entities have been observed in SCP-XXXX-A, respectively designated SCP-XXXX-B-Alpha through -Gamma.
SCP-XXXX-B-Alpha is a reptillian entity around 5 meters in length, and 1 meter in height. Not much else is known about SCP-XXXX-B-Alpha except that the organism appears to be able to bend reality around it, giving it the ability to seemingly teleport, which is its main form of hunting. Their prey appears to consist of primates, mainly humans. One theory states that an infestation of SCP-XXXX-B-Alpha could have been one of the factors leading to the abandonment of the alternate █████.
SCP-XXXX-B-Beta is a

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid-beta (see Addendum) (previously Euclid-alpha)
Special Containment Procedures: The affected area of SCP-XXXX has been measured to be around 30 m2. Most containment protocols relate to preventing members of the public from entering SCP-XXXX's area. All roads leading to the petrol station affected with SCP-XXXX have been diverted. No personnel are to enter SCP-XXXX, except for Class-D testing.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a temporal phenomenon affecting a petrol station in [REDACTED], Luxembourg. The affected building appears to have been built in the 1980s, with most of the main building being burnt in a case of arson in 1995. At this date, a [DATA EXPUNGED] seemingly made the event constantly loop, with the two people in the gas station5 getting trapped in the time loop created. During the containment process, two containment specialists were accidentally trapped in SCP-XXXX.
If any person walks into the affected area, the event will change to include the entering subject. All textual records of the event will include some form of information about the new subject after this occurs. Before SCP-XXXX was detected, two people, a mother and a daughter, were noted to have disappeared. They were later found as customers in the time loop, which was when SCP-XXXX came to the attention of the Foundation. The civillians in the surrounding area were administered Class-A amnestics soon after.
Any subject inside SCP-XXXX, henceforth known as SCP-XXXX-1, will not be able to leave except from outside force. Even then, it appears that if an SCP-XXXX-1 subject is outside SCP-XXXX, a creature with grey skin and no eyes, 3 meters tall with sharp claws known as SCP-XXXX-2 will attempt to [DATA EXPUNGED] them. All casualties from SCP-XXXX-2 have later been spotted in SCP-XXXX, so it is theorized that the subject remains alive while SCP-XXXX-2 is [DATA EXPUNGED] them. However, SCP-XXXX-2 appears to be telepathic and hunts via the memory of the event, so Class-C amnestics can be used to prevent SCP-XXXX-2 from tracking an escaped SCP-XXXX-1 instance.
SCP-XXXX-1 subjects other than the first two, which are unable to do anything other than perform the actions that they did on the day the anomaly first became active, seem to have formed a rudimentary civilization with the items in the store, which include items such as tinned beans and water bottles. The civilization relies on the part of the repeated event where the building is burned down for warmth, and they appear to be aware of the unnatural nature of their enviroment.
Addendum :
This diary was recently found by a robotic exploration vehicle.

After the diary was discovered, the affected area grew from 20 m2 to 30 m2. Class changed from Euclid-alpha to Euclid-beta.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a liquid helium cooled aluminium-lined standard humanoid containment chamber at the surface floor of Area-04, with a supply of air from a separate pipe as the cell has been airlocked to prevent heat entering the chamber. Food supplied from the site cafeteria is to be served as normal, but SCP-XXXX has been given tongs to prevent the food from becoming cold. SCP-XXXX may not be tested unless under the permission of at least 2 O5 personnel and Level 4+ clearance. It should also not be allowed to go into the underground area under any circumstances.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a physically 24 year old human male with an unknown hair colour, weighing around 83.6 kg. The average body temperature of SCP-XXXX has been revealed to be a staggering 1100°C in containment, yet none of SCP-XXXX's bodily fluids or cells appear to be damaged for an unknown reason, making SCP-XXXX effectively immortal. SCP-XXXX is believed to have gained this intense bodily temperature through its main anomalous property, which is that, when exposed to any form of energy, such as heat or light, SCP-XXXX will absorb the energy. As a side effect, the light absorption properties cause SCP-XXXX to appear completely black in colour, and the reflectance of SCP-XXXX has been calculated and measured to be zero.
Due to the energy absorption properties, SCP-XXXX will heat up, as all energy absorbed is converted into heat. Despite this, SCP-XXXX's temperature has no observable effect on its surroundings, and as such, the enviroment around SCP-XXXX will simply lower in temperature.
A special property is observed when SCP-XXXX absorbs light. While SCP-XXXX absorbs light hitting itself almost instantaneously, the light around SCP-XXXX takes a much slower time to be absorbed, for instance, light 6 meters away from SCP-XXXX will be consumed in around 2 minutes.
Addendum:
SCP-XXXX was first discovered at [REDACTED], Antarctica near Lake Vostok, next to an unusual structure. This structure was later revealed to be ancient ruins, seemingly a place of royalty. It is believed that due to the immortal nature of SCP-XXXX and the discovery of accurate evidence for an ancient Antarctic civilization, SCP-XXXX may have been responsible for the downfall of the Antarctic civilization.
Addendum II:
A stone carving was later found at SCP-XXXX's site of discovery. The writing was translated a few weeks later. It reads:
For it is I who cannot live, when I am burning and dark, I cannot see, and I am in pain.
Please help me, and I will help you, to free me from this curse.
I've waited 3,000 years for help.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to have a observation team at its location in ██████, Tonga. In the case of any disruptions of the anomalous field produced by SCP-XXXX, an emergency team is to be sent to search for any other anomalies. As of yet, no other anomalies have been detected and no further procedures are neccesary.
Current Procedures (REVISION II)
SCP-XXXX's anomaly producing nature requires that an observation team, along with a MTF unit fully trained in deep sea diving check for new anomalies daily. Currently, there have been 8 anomalous organisms recovered from SCP-XXXX, each designated SCP-XXXX-1 through -8. Provisional Site-100 has been built about a mile from the hole, under the guise of an oil rig to study SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a non-ionizing anomalous signal of unknown wavelength coming from a blue hole in [REDACTED], Tonga. It, however, has been shown to cause burns when concentrated according to expirments by Level 2 Researcher Harolds and Level 1 Research Assistant [REDACTED] SCP-XXXX appears to be producing various kinds of anomalous sea life, which can be detected via energy disruptions in the field. The sea life does not appear to have any different DNA structure to any non anomalous species, yet display unique properties to one another.
SCP-XXXX was first noticed by a radio telescope in [REDACTED]. Originally thought to be an intelligent signal from an extraterrestrial, it soon became clear that the [REDACTED] blue hole was the source. 4 years later, SCP-XXXX-1, a sunfish that could only be seen in microwave radiation, was discovered at the same time a disruption in SCP-XXXX's field was detected. The true anomalous property of SCP-XXXX soon became apparent.
A full list of SCP-XXXX specimens is located here.
- SCP-XXXX-1: Sunfish (common mola) weighing about 1.814 megagrams. Could only be seen on the microwave spectrum. In a large tank at Site-100.
- SCP-XXXX-2: Unusually large colossal squid, about a kilometer in length. Object posed no value to research, and is uncontained.
- SCP-XXXX-3: Cluster of various zooplankton constantly emitting gamma radiation with a wavelength of 1 femtometer. Kept in a tank with appropriate shielding.
- * SCP-XXXX-4: A clownfish with a body temperature of 700 degrees. Did not seem to affect the water around it, and all of the fish's bodily fluids were in liquid state. Kept in a heat-resistant tank.
- SCP-XXXX-5: [DATA EXPUNGED]. Contained in a heavily guarded tank with bombproof glass. Possible Keter SCP classification, due to the biohazard it presents being difficult to control.
- SCP-XXXX-6: Octopus with all of the organism's carbon molecule having been replaced with their silicon analouges. Kept in a tank at Site-100.
- SCP-XXXX-7: Amoeba resistant to any form of ionizing radiation. Uncontained.
- SCP-XXXX-8: Coral using hydrofluoric acid as a solvent. To be hydrated with a 50% solution of HF each day.
There have also been several non-anomalous items recovered, including:
- A SONY Walkman cassete player.
- A Gigabyte gaming laptop.
- A document for a parallel version of this anomaly, see Addendum 2 to read.
- A 29 year old Caucasian man in diving gear, in possesion of a Level 4 keycard. When questioned, he said that he had been sent through "a portal SCP for an expedition" Sent back through SCP-XXXX after. Further research into the portal-like nature of SCP-XXXX is ongoing.
Addendum I: After the recovery of the parallel-universe SCP worker on ██/██/2009, a specialist team has been sent through SCP-XXXX to explore the universe, now known as SCP-XXXX-9, which SCP-XXXX supposedly leads to.
Exploration I:
Begin Log
Agent Trowler: Ok, I'm getting down there; you guys alright up there?
Senior Researcher McKonvin: Site-100 is going well. How are you?
Agent Trowler: Well… I see a light…
Senior Researcher McKonvin: Ok then. Agent Trowler, please approach the light.Agent Trowler: Yes sir. (Agent Trowler begins to approach the light)
Senior Researcher McKonvin: Where are you now?
Agent Trowler: It seems… like a strange building… almost like some site…
Agent Trowler: Hold on, I see some researchers and an MTF soldier entering the chamber…
Agent Trowler: Yea… they notice me…(Agent Trowler was unheard of for a few days until returning via SCP-XXXX. Further exploration approved)
Level 4+ personnel may conduct explorations.
Addendum II:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Thaumiel
Subclass: Alpha6
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the immobile nature of SCP-XXXX, Site-05 has been built around it. Information about SCP-XXXX has been classified to Level 3+, and MTF Pi-10 "Dimension Hoppers" has been established to explore SCP-XXXX-1. Level 4+ clearance is required for testing.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a glowing white sphere about 7 meters in diameter and around 22 meters in circumfrence, with it emitting mostly visible light, although infared has also been detected from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX appears to behave as a portal to a parallel universe known as SCP-XXXX-1, with the other side of SCP-XXXX being in an underwater area. The full geography of the area surrounding the exit of SCP-XXXX is unclear, but presumed to be a blue hole.
On rare occassions anomalous organisms can appear surrounding SCP-XXXX. These include:
SCP-XXXX-2: A squirrel only visible in radio waves. In an artifical enviroment at Site-05.
SCP-XXXX-3: A frog constantly emitting X-rays. Kept in a shielded tank at Site-05.
SCP-XXXX-4: A dust mite with the ability to teleport. Extreme danger was posed from the anomaly, and it was terminated.
SCP-XXXX-5: A fly-mosquito hybrid. Kept in an insect container at Site-05.
Addendum I: SCP-XXXX may be used as an evacuation route for Level 3+ personnel in the event of a major containment breach. As such, SCP-XXXX has been classed as Thaumiel.
Addendum II: MTF-Pi-10 Commander Johnson has been sent through SCP-XXXX to learn more about SCP-XXXX-1.
Update:
Commander Johnson has returned from SCP-XXXX-1, and has stated he was interrogated by a parallel universe version of the SCP Foundation and gave them information about SCP-XXXX. A copy of this document has been sent through SCP-XXXX-1 in an attempt to communicate with SCP-XXXX-1's inhabitants.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Neutralized (see Addendum II and III)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX does not appear to have any hostile intent, and is located about 6 lightyears from Earth, therby preventing any major incidents. It, however is to be monitored daily. The loss of signal from SCP-XXXX appears to suggest cessation of the anomalous effects. However, SCP-XXXX is to still be monitored in the case of the signal restarting.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a small red dwarf star about 6 light-years from Earth, with a mass of about 111 Jovian masses, calculated to be around 3 million years old. SCP-XXXX was first discovered by amateur astronomer Will D. █████ in 1989, although the anomalous effects did not become apparent until 2000, when infared signals were detected using the Foundation's HST (Heat Space Telescope), an infared telescope invented by L4 Professor Alan ████. About a year later, new equipment showed that the signals were transmitting messages in the English language, and it became apparent that there was a sentience somewhere inside the star. Through collected data, it has been hypothesized that the sentience is that of Junior Researcher Gold, who disappeared due to an effect of SCP-████ during a containment breach at Site-02. The messages appear to be calls for help and it is clear that the sentience inside the star is in pain from the pressure, though it is unknown how it could survive in such extreme conditions. It is believed the anomaly that sent J.R Gold to the star in the first place could have also caused the immortality allowing him to survive inside the star, and there is strong evidence for this in tests of SCP-████. Messages from SCP-XXXX can be seen in Addendum I.
Addendum I:

Addendum II:
As per routine, SCP-XXXX was checked for signals. Strangely, no signals were detected over the course of 3 months. SCP-XXXX has been considered neutralized, and it is believed Junior Researcher Gold finally sucumbed to the conditions of the star. Procedures reworked. However,

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in an airtight, biohazard containment chamber at Area-128. The door to the airlock will not open unless 125 volts are applied to the electric lock. New instances of SCP-XXXX are to be captured and removed before Phase III of the SCP-XXXX life cycle commences. Checks for cracks in the airlock are mandatory. SCP-XXXX-1 instances in containment are to be fed 55 kg of meat every day. Hazmat suits and a layer of protective armor are required for personnel assigned to feed SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 instances are to be apprehended as soon as possible and terminated.
SCP-XXXX-3 has been secured in a Level 4 safe in Area-128. See Addendum XXXX-3 for details.
Description: During Phase I, SCP-XXXX will appear to be a regular mold with a greenish tinge, mainly affecting ceilings and walls, though it has also been shown to grow on food. After a period of time ranging between 24-48 hours passes, SCP-XXXX will subsequently disappear, thus initiating Phase II. SCP-XXXX is idle during Phase II. 72 hours after Phase II begins, the mold will start to generate large hemispherical protrusions on the affected substance, which will later burst, and release green tentacles with black suckers and/or claws known as SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are hostile, and appear to consume any form of meat or fish, even if said meat is still alive. If a human goes near a room with an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 which has recently eaten a liked/loved one of said human, SCP-XXXX-1 will appear to imitate said liked/loved one vocally. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 consumes a living Homo sapien, SCP-XXXX-1 will later vomit out a cocoon made out of an unknown material similar to string, yet indestructible through regular means. After at least 13 hours, the cocoon will unravel to reveal SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 appear to be undead versions of the humans consumed by SCP-XXXX-1, yet with various instances of SCP-XXXX-1 located on the body, most commonly replacing either of SCP-XXXX-2's hands, as well as [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX-2 are also sentient, and rather violent, and also obey SCP-XXXX-1's commands, and have been shown to bring bodies to SCP-XXXX-1. The amount of space taken up by SCP-XXXX-1 will grow depending on the amount of SCP-XXXX-2 instances created.
The current area covered by SCP-XXXX in containment currently is 10 meters.
Addendum XXXX-3: Update as of █/█/██:
An amulet now known as SCP-XXXX-3 was found in a warehouse located in [REDACTED], South Dakota. Item appears to be able to turn others into SCP-XXXX-2 at the wearer's will. Now in storage. The origins of this item are unknown, yet there was a deceased SCP-XXXX-1 instance nearby. The item has the words "For [unintelligible] Adams" written on it in gold pen.
Addendum:
Level 4+ may also view Incident XXXX-1-A through XXXX-1-B.

After said incident, reports of a fungal zombie were spread across the state of Kentucky. SCP-XXXX was then brought to the Foundation. Jacob ████'s house was then converted into Area-128. SCP-XXXX-2 was successfully terminated.
Incident XXXX-1-B:
[DATA EXPUNGED]
Interview Log XXXX-2:
Level 4+ personnel have now been authorized to ask SCP-XXXX-2 instances a question.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2 instance from an Oklahoma home.
Interviewer: Doctor Ethan Ross
Foreword: SCP-XXXX-2 instance. Created from D-████ with SCP-XXXX-3.
<Begin Log>
Dr Ross: What is your name?
SCP-XXXX-2: No name.
Dr Ross: What are you?
SCP-XXXX-2: …
Dr Ross: Do you remember yourself as human?
SCP-XXXX-2: …<End Log>
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX-2 appeared to not reply after answering the first question.
Successfully terminated.
Note: All information about SCP-XXXX is infohazardous. If you are viewing this document without prior knowledge of the infohazard, please exit and file an amnesiac request.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All media reports of supposed ghost sightings are to be examined and experimented on for potential infohazard. If found to report on a SCP-XXXX sighting, Procedure-765-Shabbah is to be initiated, involving amnesiac distribution to the area served by the newspaper.
If found, any intelligence behind SCP-XXXX-1 is to be contained as soon as possible.
Description: It is of yet unknown if SCP-XXXX is a infohazardous mind virus or if there is an intelligence behind instances of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 appear to be supernatural occurrences following a individual gaining knowledge of SCP-XXXX, comparable to classic depictions of poltergeists in pop culture. These occurrences usually include unexpected movement of objects in the individual's house, destruction of fragile objects and voices from nowhere, usually that of a deceased enemy of the individual. Further research is needed to determine whether this is a mimicry effect similar to SCP-939 or if SCP-XXXX channels the soul of said enemy.
Some victims of SCP-XXXX report a sharp pain in the neck when first gaining knowledge of SCP-XXXX, but this is yet to be proven. Other subjects feel a "cold finger" touch them at random. Photographs of SCP-XXXX-1 are possible when an affected individual is taking a photograph. An attached photograph is in this document for reference.
Addendum: The following was a note recovered from the home of ████ Washington, a man who had committed suicide to escape SCP-XXXX-1.
You know him.
Now he knows you.
You can no longer escape him
He can watch you
He will see you
Goodbye, World.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: A large sample of the SCP-XXXX bacterium is to be stored in a
biohazard container filled with agar gel at Area-05. In the event of a containment breach, toxic HBr gas is to be pumped into the chamber to terminate excess bacteria. To prevent corrosion, the biohazard container is to be made out of zirconium-hafnium-carbon alloy, used by the Foundation for most corrosive anomalies. In case of emergency, titanium may be used temporarily. If detected outside Area-05, Procedure 21-Neo is to be initiated, using vaccination via a weaker version of SCP-XXXX discovered by Senior Researcher Jonas. Should this fail, a GH-Class scenario may occurr, of which SCP-2000 is to be activated and a large robotic cleanup protocol initiated. As well as this, SCP-XXXX-2 is to be released into the enviroment. See Addendum 3 for more details.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a species of bacterium approximately 1.3 micrometers in size, vunerable to most bacteriophages, which, by itself, is known to duplicate itself between intervals of approximately 2 minutes, about the tenth of the time it takes most bacteria to divide. However, this is not the most unusual property of SCP-XXXX. When infecting another, much larger organism (such as a human), which will then be known as SCP-XXXX-1, the infection will attempt to spread itself with SCP-XXXX's main anomalous property, which is to duplicate the host7 in an attempt to infect as many organisms as possible.
The cloning is very rapid and painful to the subject, as implied by various test subjects who stated it felt like "being ripped apart while alive". As well as this, the bacterium's main goal is to steal energy in the form of sugars, as well as nutrients such as hydrogen and sulfur, which helps the bacteria to live long enough to create enough duplicate hosts to infect a large group of people. These often lead to deadly deficencies such as anemia, which can cause heart failure. It is said that if left uncontained, SCP-XXXX could spread across the entire animal population in a matter of years and kill up to 95% of all complex life. Also, SCP-XXXX's rapid duplication causes SCP-XXXX-1 to lose minerals at a rapid pace, sometimes as quickly as 12 hours.
Addendum 1:
The following is translated text from a newspaper from ████, Ukraine, published on 7/6/████
BREAKING NEWS
A new string of bacterium IN OUR TOWN could kill thousands, experts warn.
The bacterium, named Excretium Libarius, which was first detected in soil on ██████, much to the shock of researchers, it appears to be very fast-spreading, dividing the host in two and using both the original host and its duplicate to infect two other non-infected creatures, with infected population growing exponentially due to nature of the infection. Currently, it seems to be spread by eathworms. If further action is not taken, the bacterium could kill thousands in a few hours, based on calculations by biologist Molov D. █████. A decontamination plan is underway. Until the decontamination process is complete, scientists have advised civillians to stay away from ████'s worm population.
████'s infestation of SCP-XXXX was the first reported case, and brought the bacterium to the Foundation's attention. Casualty rate of Incident XXXX-A was about 67,976, about ██% of ████'s population. The origin is still unknown, and DNA testing reveals SCP-XXXX to be genetically identical to D. radiodurans, so testing for other similarities is under consideration
Addendum 2: O5s have permitted testing with SCP-XXXX under the rule that it requires their approval and that tests can only be performed by Level 4+ personnel. Level 2+ may read the testing logs.
Test A - Date: 3/4/0█
Subject: Amoeba proteus, already able to divide in two.
Procedure: SCP-XXXX put in the water via pipette.
Results: Instead of dividing in two when given enough nutrients, the amoeba divided in four.
Analysis: Research into SCP-XXXX infecting amoeba is underway.
Test B - Date:5/█/02
Subject: Common house rat.
Procedure: SCP-XXXX injected via syringe.
Results: Rat divided in two as expected with most organisms. Infected another rat when introduced to it.
Analysis: The rat did not display any odd properties after testing. Proper treatment helped the rat survive.
O5-3: Testing on larger organisms is now permitted for SCP-XXXX.
Test C - Date: [REDACTED]
Subject: D-7665623, convict of animal cruelty.
Procedure: As with previous test, SCP-XXXX injected via syringe.
Results: D-7665623 multiplied as usual, The duplicates infected two more researchers then [DATA EXPUNGED] before the situation was brought under control.
Analysis: Jesus Christ. Should we still keep doing this stuff? Dr. ████ S. Gordon
O5-11: For safety reasons, human testing has been banned for SCP-XXXX.
Addendum 3:
After the disastrous results of Test C, a bacteriophage known as SCP-XXXX-2 has been engineered by Foundation scientists to specifically target SCP-XXXX. The bacteriophage is about 70 nm in height and 30 nm in length. Samples of the virus are to be stored in a seperate room inside SCP-XXXX's containment chamber. SCP-XXXX-2 has been incorporated into Procedure 22-Neo successfuly.
