Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure holding cell with wall dimensions all being 6 meters by 8 meters by 17 meters due to the size of the billboard. The billboard is to be covered by a large, light-absorbing material and can only be removed by authorization of a Level-4 or higher personnel.

Only Level-2 personnel are allowed to enter the containment of SCP-XXXX with no more than two (2) D-Class at one time. The subject's actions are to be monitored by one Level-4 personnel and can only be terminated by authorization.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a billboard that is located at Site-██. The advertisement changes based on the person viewing the object. The billboard will intrigue the reader, and the reader will stop moving and continue to read in most cases however, they are not forced to stop. During the reading, it will then send the reader a message that affects them on an emotional level causing sorrow, fear, or anger toward family members, friends, and loved ones. The billboard will then give them instructions for doing a task that they would otherwise not do such as killing their parents or [REDACTED] etc. The subject will, in most cases, carry out the task but it is of their own choice but the billboard will continue to send emotional messages driving them to do these tasks. The person(s) affected is then referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. Once SCP-XXXX-1 has finished his task or has died, SCP-XXXX is then returned to its normal advertisement of ████████ toothpaste.

SCP-XXXX-1 is not forced to look at the billboard. However, when the person has seen the billboard the process cannot be stopped and the subject is put into a trance-like state.

Addendum: An interview with SCP-XXXX-1 involving the origins of SCP-XXXX took place on March 15, 2011. The interview ended with the death of SCP-XXXX-1 (D-4325) and no information regarding SCP-XXXX's place of origin or creation. D-4325 was diagnosed with a large puncture to his [REDACTED] and many small incisions to the frontal cortex. The wounds to the frontal cortex is thought to be the source of the sudden surge is emotion and further testing is required.
