Item #: SCP-[BROC]-J
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-[BROC]-J is to be kept in a Class 3 Vacuum Security Locker with a biometric lock programmed to open only with five (5) Level 4 or higher personel present. Testing with SCP-[BROC]-J has been postponed indefinitely due to the substantial loss of D Class subjects in previous tests. (See Addendum [BROC]-J-01)
Description: SCP-[BROC]-J is a group of seven (7) [Originally ten (10)] green cellulose structures slightly resembling deciduous trees, except much smaller and all parts of SCP-[BROC]-J is a deep green in color. The object has been recorded to cause nausea and vomiting in all personel observing it or a picture of it, with the exception of Doctor ██████, who seems completely impervious to its effects. Exposure to SCP-[BROC]-J through olfactory means induces a stronger response in observers, who immediately start coughing, vomiting, and report strong irritation of the eyes and mouth. Tactile exposure seems to cause no change in response, unless SCP-[BROC]-J is ingested, in which case the effects range from inflammation of the esophagus, projectile vomiting, and diarrhea, to garbled speech with foaming at the mouth, extended periods of comatose, followed by death.

Subject: D-[BROC]-02
Test: Exposure to the same air as SCP-[BROC]-J.
Results: Subject experienced heightened nausea and vomiting, attempting to forcibly leave the room.
Subject: D-[BROC]-03
Test: Exposure to touching SCP-[BROC]-J and, when shown that this had no effect, ingestion of one (1) of its components.
Results: Subject collapsed and started speaking in garbled noises before convulsing violently, screaming, and going catatonic. Subject expired after 30 minutes.
Subject: Doctor ██████

Before ingesting another one (1) of its components. Doctor ██████ has been contained and is being held in a containment cell adjacent to SCP-[BROC]-J and has been reclassified as SCP-[BROC]-J-a. Investigation into his words while in the Security
Locker are inconclusive, although O5-██ has asked for Doctor ██████ to be psychologically reevaluated.
