"Porcelain Stairwell"

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a container or room roughly 1210mm in height and width, and is not to be attached to an entrance or exit on a level above or below it.

Description:
In appearance, SCP-XXXX is an average victorian era spiral staircase made of cast iron and silver, but has the ability to convert a user into a living porcelain doll, dubbed SCP-XXXX-1. After complete conversion, SCP-XXXX-1’s body stability starts to decrease, eventually leading to SCP-XXXX’s body cracking or shattering if the subject tries to move or is moved. Further testing has shown that this change is irreversible, and that SCP-XXXX-1 does not contain any organs or a skeletal structure, but can consume foodstuffs without producing waste.

Addendum:
It has been observed that instances of SCP-XXXX-1 become suicidal after conversion if they do not shatter, and will try to shatter themselves if given the chance. So far, all attempts to preserve an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 have failed, the longest an instance had survived so far is 2.5 months.
