Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a stone tablet of Neolithic make. Tests have dated the Artifact to be approximately 10,000 years old. The center of the tablet mostly appears blank, but unknown language is inscribed along its edges, and any attempt to translate the dialect has failed.

SCP-XXXX-1 was originally discovered in 19██ by a group of archeologists, led by Dr. ██████████, in an excavation site at the northern borders of █████, but was put into Foundation custody after most of the participants were found dead by a local village. The only survivor was a site worker who was found [REDACTED] and muttering an unknown language. Subject was assigned as SCP-XXXX-2 and was taken by the Foundation for observation.

Research has revealed that prolonged tactile contact with SCP-XXXX-1 causes a drastic change in behavior. Any subject affected by this is considered as an instance of SCP-XXXX-2. Psychological observation has revealed that instances of SCP-XXXX-2 believe themselves to be deities of numerous ancient religions.

The effects of SCP-XXXX-1 are so far not treatable by today’s technology and medicine and instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be apprehended and sent to Site-76’s Psychological Department to be observed. So far the Foundation is in custody of four affected Subjects, and they are assigned as SCP-XXXX-2-1 to SCP-XXXX-2-30 respectively.

Addendum-XXXX-c: Portion of Incident Report #76-XXXX-120-██

SCP-XXXX-2-28 breached containment after it had come into contact with SCP-XXXX-2-29, resulting in ██ casualties, including SCP-XXXX-2-29, and destruction of half of the psychology department at Site ██. Upon being detained, SCP-XXXX-2-29 willingly went with the recovery team and was sent back to Dr. Franklin for observation.

Who the hell thought that it was a good idea to introduce two instances to each other?! Now half of my Department is crushed under rubble and God knows what. I'm sending a complaint to Site Director ██████ and hopefully get who ever caused this mess to be terminated. Nevertheless, in light of the recent incident with the instances of SCP-XXXX-2, containment procedures are to be revised for those damned bastards. -Dr. Franklin
