Description. SCP-XXXX is a 12-cm hand torch, weighing approximately 200 grams. The torch is made of stainless steel and continued usage shows that it has a lifespan of 40 hours. SCP-3134 anomalous property's are displayed when the torch is turned on, when done so the torch projects black light that has been observed to draw in light and colour from the surface it is shined upon, after the light has been removed the colour and light both return to the surface. However, it has been observed that when SCP-3134 is projected onto a surface for longer than 5 minutes the colour will no longer return to the surface, instead when light is remove the colours of the surface will turn black. The black colour has property’s similar to the liquid Vantablack.

SCP-3134’s bulb is impossible to remove from its casing and the casing it is currently in has proven to be very resistant to forms of damage and shock.

SCP-3134 was recovered from Mr ██████ after he was arrested for shining SCP-XXXX at people as they drove past his work causing one-person veer of the road. SCP agents were sent to speak to Mr ██████ and acquired SCP-XXXX after an officer pointed out its anomalous property's to an agent.

Test A - Date 14/██/██

Subject: D-9213
Procedure: SCP-XXXX was projected onto the back of D-9213's jumpsuit to test whether SCP-XXXX's effects pass through clothing.
Results: SCP-XXXX was projected onto D-9213's jumpsuit for 5 minutes until the area turned black. D-9213 was then asked to remove the jumpsuit and show his back. After doing so his back was observed not been affected by the effects of SCP-XXXX.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems unable to effect multiple layers at a time, whether this is because there are multiple colours involved is yet to be tested.

Test B - Date 23/██/██

Subject: One printed image of a rainbow
Procedure: SCP-XXXX was projected onto the image to see if it’s able to effect multiple colours at once.
Results: SCP-XXXX was projected onto the rainbow and left for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes had past the image was observed to have had all its colour drawn away and replaced with black. The sheet of paper however was observed to have remained white on the side that SCP-XXXX had not been projected at.
Analysis: This shows that SCP-XXXX can affect multiple colours at once but is unable to effect multiple layers at once.
