Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard room furnished with basic necessities, pending any requests made by SCP-XXXX. Door to room is to be locked with a single lock, and include a sliding bar to allow communication between subject and personnel.

SCP-XXXX is to locked in 3m x 3m room with no openings except for one reinforced steel door and one properly secured air duct. No skin to skin contact is to be made between personnel and subject. Two security guards must be present at all times, and permission from two (2) level 4 members must be obtained to experiment.

Release via air ducts of a mild sedative is to precede any entry of personnel, and level B Hazmat suits are to be worn by all who are near SCP-XXXX. Should skin contact be made with the subject, SCP-XXXX should be immediately moved to her holding cell and exposed person[s] should be removed from the facility to a distance of at least 100 m. Any instances created from contact with SCP-XXXX are to be designated SCP-XXXX-1-h for humans, SCP-XXXX-1-a for non-human non-SCPs, and SCP-XXXX-1-#### for exposed SCP. Any instances should be recorded and incinerated at earliest opportunity.
[See incident report XXXX-K39]

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a female humanoid of unidentified race and age. Subject can speak Latin, and an early dialect of Greek. At time of writing, SCP-XXXX has developed basic English language comprehension..

SCP-XXXX's behavior is sedate. The only danger SCP-XXXX poses is when skin contact is made between subject and a sentient organic being. SCP-XXXX beings exhibiting signs of pregnancy within six (6) hours to six (6) days after contact, depending on the age and size of the being that it has come into contact with. Subject will remain pregnant for exactly 28 days after initial contact, at which point it will begin to give birth.
[See incident report XXXX-H78]

SCP-XXXX gives birth to an infant copy, designated SCP-XXXX-1, of whatever came into contact with SCP-XXXX. After six (6) days, SCP-XXXX-1 will be roughly the same age as the original. SCP-XXXX-1 are harmless. At this point in it's development, if a SCP-XXXX-1 comes into contact with original being, the SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to [REDACTED] the original. If the SCP-XXXX-1 is allowed to kill the original, it simply passes out and dies. No cause of death has been identified yet.
[See incident report XXXX-D40]

For known/studied SCP-XXXX-1, see Experiment Log of SCP-XXXX

Addendum XXXX-01: Subject was discovered by agents in 19██ laying in the center of a small stone table roughly 3 meters in diameter in a cavern beneath the middle eastern ruins of ██████ ████████ origin located in present day [REDACTED]. Carbon dating of the table has remained inconclusive, but the ruins date back to at least 17 B.C.E. The longevity of SCP-XXXX is it's only anomalous characteristics. Subject was cooperative with agents sent to contain it.

This area drew the attention of the Foundation when locals began finding identical pairs of deceased animals, mainly [REDACTED]. The cause of death of one of the pair was always severe mauling and [REDACTED], caused by the second animal, while the second animal had no observable cause of death. Based on testing done in Foundation laboratories, both animals had identical DNA in every case. It is unknown whether or not SCP-XXXX is related to these animal anomalies. Further searching is needed to identify the cause. Subject is now know to have been the direct cause of the animal copies. Searching may continue in the ██████ ████████ ruins to potentially discover more instances of SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-02: SCP-XXXX has requested daily visits by member of staff to communicate with. (Approved) All contact with SCP-XXXX has been suspended for all purposes except experiment research as of ██/██/20██.

Addendum XXXX-03: Creating SCP-XXXX-1 using D class personnel should be considered to help replenish subjects required in experiments that have very specific requirements.-
Considering the adverse reaction of SCP-XXXX-1 to the original, this would probably be a bad idea. Dr. P████
