Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is kept in Secure Storage Vault ██. The object is stored in a locked steel container with the internal dimensions of 30 x 25 x 5 cm. One security officer of non-Abrahamic faith should be stationed outside the room to oversee the entry and exit procedures of the research personnel. All articles of clothing worn or brought into the room must be incinerated. In case of containment breach, and the emergence of SCP-XXXX-2, the infected individuals must be subdued and apprehended without delay. Non-lethal force is recommended, but not mandatory. All articles of clothing worn by SCP-XXXX-2, along with those worn by the security personnel, must be purged immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a white sleeveless coat made of linen, decorated with the image of a red cross on its front side. It was excavated from a mass burial ground in [REDACTED], France.
The SCP is a mind-affecting hazard that incites violent religious fanaticism in the affected individuals. SCP-XXXX-1 infects any articles of clothing within five (5) metres, but preliminary testing indicates that shirts, jackets and other upper-body clothings are more susceptible to its effects.
Once a garment is infected, a red religious symbol, appropriate for the wearer's faith, appears on its surface within two (2) hours. From this stage onward, the wearer of the infected garment is to be addressed as SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 infects clothing only by direct contact, but in addition to its vestiary contagion, causes compulsive pseudo-memetic contamination to any individuals of Abrahamic faith. This contagion is delivered by voice, but tests indicate that direct speech is required for contamination. Voice channeled through electronic media will not result in any [REDACTED] degradation of the listeners.
Affected individuals will attempt to assault or apprehend the members of faiths including, but not limited to [DATA EXPUNGED]. They form cohesive military units and begin "purging heretics", using tactics reminiscent of 13th Century infantry combat. The infected persons show proficiency with, and will try to acquire and use pole-arms and bladed weapons, but they will adapt to most modern hand weapons if given enough time. If they were to succeed in capturing a populated area (see Incident Report ██-█ for details) they will begin [REDACTED] at the centre of the settlement.
Once all infected garments are incinerated, the contagious compulsion stops. Psychological evaluations of the affected persons show no permanent [REDACTED] degradation; on the contrary, they seem unable to recall the context and details of their actions.
Note: SCP-XXXX-2 will not attack the members of the same faith, but will employ lethal force in self-defence.

Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The craft is kept in the Secure Hangar 01 of Research Site-██. As the craft does not pose any discernible threat, no further containment procedure is required. However, due to the sensitive nature of the information that can be inferred from the craft and the objects within, Level 4 Clearance is required to access the hangar and the objects stored within. Two security officers are stationed outside the hangar to prevent unauthorised access.
The cadavers found in the craft are stored in cryogenic preservation tanks in Secure Storage Vault 17. [LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE REQUIRED] was cremated by the order of O5-██.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a massive teardrop-shaped disc of the dimensions 127 X 97 X 19 metres. The craft was first discovered near [REDACTED], South Africa in 1954 by a team of diamond miners. Class-A amnesiacs and Aleph/13 Soci-Eng Procedure were employed for information containment. After excavation, the vessel had been disassembled and stored in separation, until ██/██/200█, when it was reassembled on Site ██ for further investigations.
The hull of the craft is mostly composed of titanium steel laminates, reinforced with a matrix of interwoven carbon nano-fibres. The outermost laminate is protected by an unidentified material that is both flexible and heat-resistant. Electron microscopy of a hull fragment shows a heavily modified strain of E.Coli inhabiting the space between the laminate layers. The bacteria seem to have been engineered to repair the micro-fractures within the hull structure.
Multiple biological components were found to be integrated to the vessel's sub-systems, including its propulsion and damage-control systems. The components are in a symbiotic relationship with the craft itself, gaining sustenance from the ship's power supply.
The craft is of a modular design, being surprisingly easy to dismantle and reassemble. It has five modules: the cockpit, the crew habitat, a laboratory, a cargo hold and the engineering section.
The craft is designed to be piloted by two persons. The cockpit is ergonomically designed, and employs a form of advanced hapto-holographic interface for display and controls. A solid-state quantum computer regulates the avionics system, and serves as the mainframe for the various terminals across the vessel. The damage sustained by the craft has corrupted most of the data stored within. The information recovered from the mainframe is classified for Level 4 access only.
The habitation module contains 5 small rooms, each no more than 4 x 3 metres. Each room is furnished with a bunk, a small desk and a locker for personal belongings. In addition to the rooms, the crew module is equipped with five 2-metre long tubes, wide enough to hold one person. These pods seem to be able to support life in suspended animation for very long amount of time, but not indefinitely. The pods also serve as the vessel's lifeboat, and can be ejected from the hull in an emergency. They are both vacuum-proof and pressure-resistant, protecting the occupant from the elements. Three pods had been launched prior to the discovery of the ship.
The main laboratory contains numorous analysis equipments and survey hardware necessary for identification and testing of anomalous objects and physics-defying phenomena. While reverse engineering them may be difficult for a few years, they may prove useful in detecting spacetime distortion and nonstandard topology. Application for the reassignment of the devices to Site-19 for further examination is pending assessment by the Senior Staff. Numerous living samples of various species of microorganisms were found in cryogenic preservation in the biology section. The samples include [DATA EXPUNGED], which was purged immediately after identification. The records of the mainframe suggests that the scientists aboard the vessel were attempting to find a treatment to reverse the symptoms of the disease.
The cargo hold is empty, except for four moulded-plastic crates. The contents of the crates are catalogued along with other artefacts and cadavers found within the vessel.
- Three (3) humanoid cadavers, two(2) male, and one (1) female, found in the research lab. Each of them are dressed in white pressurised jumpsuit that offers limited NBC protection. In average, the subjects are 1.6 m tall, and weighs approximately 50 kg. Their anatomy is similar to that of a baseline human, but they possess longer limbs, larger cranium and wider eyes, and are completely hairless. DNA analysis show 99.98% match with baseline human. Autopsy reveals several cybernetic implants in the spine and in the brain stem; their purpose is yet to be discovered.
- Two (2) humanoid cadavers, one (1) male and one (1) female, found in the habitation modules. Anatomically identical to those found in the lab.
- Two (2) live humanoids, both male, found in the remaining stasis pods. One shows marked difference than the others; its anatomy is completely identical to that of an unmodified human, with a 100% match in DNA analysis. The subject's condition was critical at the time of extraction, and it died of cardiovascular shock approximately six (6) minutes later. The occupant of the other pod, anatomically identical to those found in the lab, was contaminated with [DATA EXPUNGED]. The subject was shot repeated on the head, but the officer's sidearm did not have sufficient stopping power to incapacitate the subject before it killed two researchers and injured four more. According to Special Containment Procedure ███, all injured persons were terminated and Rho-7 class neutron purge has been authorised to eliminate potential contamination.
- One (1) female humanoid cadaver found in the cockpit. Anatomically identical to those found in the lab. This one appears to be the pilot of the vessel.
- Three (3) pistols of unknown design, found in one of the crates. Only one is undamaged. It seem to fire a concentrated beam of [REDACTED], disintegrating the target's molecular structure. Compare Experiment Log 914 - 5/14.
- Twelve (12) devices of unknown function, found in one of the crates. Current conjecture speculates them to be spare parts for the craft.
- A file of encrypted documents, found in one of the crates. The documents include a list of [DATA EXPUNGED], including those that are yet to be identified by the Foundation. The list is pending assessment by the O5.
The vessel is powered by the main generator in the engineering section. The reactor contains matter-antimatter annihilation by manipulating gravitational fields through means impossible by our current level of technology. While the generator is inactive at present due to the lack of fuel, the propulsion system can be activated for tests by an external power source. Preliminary testing and theoretical speculation indicates that the vessel had been able to stay manoeuvrable even at hypersonic velocity, seemingly defying inertia and gravity. Examination of the propulsion system's organic components show a remarkable similarity with [REDACTED], which may provide deeper understanding into the flight method of the species.
It is unlikely that a vessel of this complexity to have been manufactured by humanity. However, certain Groups of Interest, namely the Prometheus Labs, may possess some of the technology necessary to create it. Further investigation on the possible connection of the vessel to the Groups of Interest in question may be necessary.

Site-01, Site-11, Site-09, Site-03, Sector-15 compromised. Multiple Keter-class containment breach detected. Full weaponization of Euclid and Safe-class objects is authorized. Global martial law has been decreed. Begin immediate evacuation of Alpha-class assets to secure locations. Commence mobilization of all reserve units. Fortification of remaining major infrastructure and population centers underway. The UN has agreed to assist the Foundation and the GOC in the defense efforts. Stand fast, people. We'd secured. We'd contained, at least for a while. It's time for us to protect, as best as we can. - Overwatch HQ to all Foundation personnel, 21/02/2079.
The decryption of the flight data found in the mainframe places the construction date of the craft as 17/05/2076. The vessel's assembly is recorded to have taken place on the Lunar Armed Research Site-09. No such site designated as such exists at present. The purpose of the vessel is the extraction of the prototype treatment for SCP-008 and one O5 personnel, from the Orbital Research Area-03. The record states that the O5 in question was overseeing the final stage of the treatment's implementation. However, the test subjects broke out of containment, and the facility was compromised by 008. In the ensuing incident, the O5 was injured and infected by the compromised personnel. The O5 authorised the field human trial of the treatment on himself. The result of the treatment is not recorded, but the O5 personnel did not exhibit any symptoms of 008 on his recovery from suspended animation. The mass production of the treatment is unfeasible at the moment, and may require further research.
<Before his death, the O5 spoke to Research Assistant ███████, standing nearby. The exchange is as following.>
O5: What year…?
Assistant ███████: (surprised) You're awake! No, no, no, don't sit up. You are in shock.
O5: (coughing) What year is it?
Assistant ███████: You need medical attention. Lie down, and wait a sec. I'll go get help.O5: (breathing with difficulty) No… Stay, and listen. Tell your superiors. Tell the O5 of this time… that we failed. We lost control. We lost control of everything. 008, 752, 217, all broke out. Then… Then they returned. They…
Assistant ███████: Who? Who returned? What are you talking about?O5: It opened. They all came through it. They, they came back to take what's theirs… God, we were so wrong. It was all just a delusion. A delusion of control. Jesus. I can't breathe. I can't…
<The O5 lapsed into unconsciousness again, and died of cardiovascular shock before the medical personnel arrived. Class A Amnesiac was deployed to Assistant ███████.>
