My sandbox is formatted to display SCPs through tabs like many others, obviously. Here is how I format my SCPs in the tab names: Normal worded names, such as "The Ball", are normal proposals for regular SCPs. SCP-XXX-J tabs are for Joke SCP proposals. I've labeled them as such so you'll have a surprise when you click on them. Finally, any contest proposal ideas will be labeled SCP-XXX Proposal.
Thank you for taking time to view my sandbox.

SCP-XXXX: Everything Ball
SCP-XXXX after taking the form of water. |
---|
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 2mx2mx3m cell made of reinforced steel. No stationary lighting is allowed within the cell. All lighting taken within the cell must be equal to or less than seventy-five watts and may not be within the vicinity of SCP-XXXX for more than forty-five minutes. Level 3 clearance is required to access SCP-XXXX and no more than two individuals are allowed in SCP-XXXX's cell at a time.
Description: SCP-XXXX is, at the time of writing, a spherical orb made up of salt water measuring at 0.304 meters in diameter. Weight and other measurements are currently unspecified. When exposed to light brighter than seventy-five watts, SCP-XXXX will immediately evaporate into thin air and will reform itself exactly twenty-four hours after initial evaporation. Substance is random upon reformation.
SCP-XXXX at the time of discovery taking the form of wood. |
---|
SCP-XXXX was discovered in █████'s Wooden Souvenir Shop in ████, Nevada, in 199█ in the form of a ball of wood. Upon discovery it quickly turned into a ball of molten lava and nearly burned down the building. SCP-XXXX was transported to Site-██ five days after it's initial discovery. Current form during transportation; cotton.
At first glance, SCP-XXXX is a normal sphere. After one hour, however, the substance of SCP-XXXX will change into something different. No known pattern of said changes have been found. Mass of XXXX varies with each substance. Substances that form SCP-XXXX range from chemicals, liquids, gases, solids, elements, and natural resources to unknown substances found in the same categories. SCP-XXXX also possesses the ability to reform into biological substances, though this only happens under certain conditions (see Incident XXXX-02-D).
It should be noted that, while SCP-XXXX can be liquid, solid, plasma, or gas, anything can easily phase through it, allowing researchers to easily transfer the substances from XXXX to a container/bottle/box etc.
Although SCP-XXXX reforms into biological substances via taking matter from any living entity within its range as a source, it is currently unknown if it takes matter from other nearby sources to reform into other substances.
Incident XXXX-02-D: The following document is a transcript of an interview between D-9018 and Dr. ████ following the events that occurred on █/█/██.
D-9018 takes a seat across from Dr. ████. One guard stands by incase of any violent behavior.
Dr. ████: Hello, D-9018. I understand you witnessed the events that occurred █ days ago, correct?
D-9018: Yes doc, that's right.
Dr. ████: Hmm…
D-9018: Is something wrong doc?
Dr. ████: No, nothing is wrong. It's just usually I'd get the "That's fuckin' right, doc," or some shit like that from a Class D right now.
D-9018: Well not everyone acts like shit.
Dr. ████: now back to the main focus here; You were in SCP-XXXX's containment chamber along with D-8995, correct?
D-9018: Yeah, that's right.
D-9018's tone noticeably becomes more stern as the interview progresses.
Dr. ████: I understand that eight hours in, D-8995 perished. Is that right?
D-9018: Yep. Then that weird ball thing turned into blood. Least that's what I think it was.
Dr. ████: Correct. SCP-XXXX had reformed into the blood of D-8995.
D-9018: What the hell is that ball thing anyways, doc?
Dr. ████: That information is classified, D-9018. Now, I wanted to ask you if you felt strange during the experiment?
D-9018: Define "strange".
Dr. ████: D-8995 described feeling empty and light. Did you feel like this at any time during the experiment?
D-9018: Not really. I was pretty tired, but I don't really think that has anything to do with this.
D-9018 is quiet for a time as Dr. ████ asks five more questions, all relating to the effects caused by SCP-XXXX. D-9018 starts to take heavier, more agitated breaths as noted by Dr. ████.
Dr. ████: Now my final question.
D-9018: What is it?
Dr. ████: What do you really think happened in there?
D-9018: A guy died and that ball thing became blood. That's exactly what happened.
Dr. ████ remains silent for about three minutes, appearing to be in deep thought.
Dr. ████: Very well. Agent █████, please take D-9018 back to his cell.
The interview concludes. SCP-XXXX is now known to be capable of reforming into biological substances. Object class has since been changed from Safe to Euclid.
A Note From Dr. ████:
After the scheduled experiment set to happen on █/█/██, no more living subjects are allowed within SCP-XXXX's containment chamber. I think we'll lose more Class D's to this thing faster than you can say "Oh shit"… or not. I guess it really depends on what we're doing. Anyways, only bring in living subjects if absolutely necessary. -Dr. ████
