Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Upon recovery of a SCP-XXXX instance, the subject is to be put into immediate psychiatric and medical care. Under no circumstances are inquiries into SCP-XXXX instances’ past or information on GoI-233 (A.K.A.: “Herman Fuller's Circus of the Disquieting”) to be asked during this time period until the subject has made a full recovery (see Description Addendum XXXX-01,).

All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be contained at Humanoid Containment Site-XX. SCP-XXXX instances may request for psychiatric and medical attention when needed. Weekly psychiatric analyses and medical checkups are mandatory for improvement of instances state of health. Requests for media may be rewarded for good behavior and compliance at the senior staffs’ discretion. Due to the varying nature of individual instances, Containment Procedures for individual instances are listed in Document XXXX-25966.

Description: The SCP-XXXX designation refers to entities that possess the following characteristics:

  • Recovered at sites supposedly abandoned by GoI-233, or by a third party which acquired the instance from a said site.
  • Possess anthropomorphic characteristics that functions as pre standard rule of biology.
  • Possess anomalous biology alongside their morphology outside of standard biology

Due to recurring similarities between instances of SCP-XXXX, The following sub-designations have tentatively been created:

  • SCP-XXXX-A: Appearance equivalent to that of standard Homo sapiens sapiens aside from a single trait from another lifeforms classified in the kingdom Animalia (i.e. a male with the head similar to one of a member of the order Anura1).
  • SCP-XXXX-B: Appearance consists of an amalgam of human and animal natures, with human characteristics taken precedence over those of non-autochthonic nature (i.e. Subjects with animal-like structures, such as bones and organs, but still stand erect).
  • SCP-XXXX-C: Appearance consists of an amalgam of human and animal nature with non-autochthonic characteristics taken precedence over those of human nature (i.e. animals with human like skeletal structure and modification to other systems to compensate, animals with human level intellect, etc.)
  • SCP-XXXX-D: Appearance falls outside of parameters listed previously but still meet requirements of being designated as a SCP-XXXX instance.

Non-biological anomalous characteristics have been observed in most instances, the majority of which are automatic/non-consensual by the instance, with controllable/non-automatic traits being in the minority.

Upon recovery, SCP-XXXX instances usually show signs of prolonged physical/mental abuse, malnutrition and emaciation.

Description Addendum XXXX-01, Psychiatric Analyses: Most SCP-XXXX instances have various mental disorders, with mental stability ranging wildly from sub-designations (A and C being the most stable, B least stable, and D varying). It should be noted that stability of mental state does not equal sanity (i.e. an instance acting sane but within the boundaries of a mental delusion). This state of mind can probably be attributed to the abuse sustained by instances from GOI-011.

History: On February 14th, 19XX, Mobile Task Force Mu-847 (“Beachcomb/Omoo”) was sent to a field in Albuquerque, Tennessee, USA, where GoI-233 had supposedly been set up for the weekend. During the recovery, Mu-847 was assaulted by what would be later designated as SCP-XXXX-B-001 (nicknamed “Spook Cat” by the survivors). A containment squad was called in and subdued the subject, and was brought to Humanoid Containment Site-XX.

In the following months, SCP-XXXX instances began to be found more commonly at sites abandoned by GoI-233, leading to the creation of the designation of SCP-XXXX to encompass all subject found under these circumstances. The qualifications were expanded after an instance was recover in a raid on a warehouse owned by GoI-132 (“Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd.”).
On September 25th, 19XX, Mobile Task Force Gamma-818 (“Ruining your Childhood”) was sent to infiltrate an event held by GoI-233. When they failed to report in in a 24 hour period, Mu-847 was sent too…(TBA)
