Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is infohazardous, and access to this file is restricted at present to 16 persons under the designation AMARANTHINE PRODIGAL, listed in Document XXXX-A. Document XXXX-A is to contain a list of all living individuals aware of any SCP-XXXX object/objects at all times. No further individuals are to be granted access to SCP-XXXX and its documentation.

SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-15 have been stored in separate, opaque containers, which are to be moved to a secure storage facility for low-maintenance infohazardous objects as soon as possible. Any unusual behavior exhibited by personnel currently aware of the nature of SCP-XXXX is to be recorded, and affected personnel contained or amnesticized.1

█ ██████████ Rd, ███████, NH is presently quarantined for infohazard containment, disseminated to local residents as an investigation of the deaths of the occupants by carbon monoxide. Investigation of the residence and a full evaluation of the properties of SCP-XXXX are pending completion.2

Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of objects, primarily household items and presently totaling 15 objects, which exhibit interrelated anomalous properties and are believed to originate from the same Extranormal Event or incursion. The objects and observed properties are documented below, refer to Document XXXX-B for detailed quantitative data.

  • SCP-XXXX-1: A 25" x 25" x 1/2" cutting board. Presumably the source of the infohazard which affects all SCP-XXXX objects (see Addendum 1). Presents inconsistent Hume readings.
  • SCP-XXXX-2, -3: Two stainless steel table forks. In two cases, the severe injury of a subject holding SCP-XXXX-2 or SCP-XXXX-3 was followed by the disappearance of the held, unobserved object, the death of the subject following the materialization of 15 malnourished instances of Rattus norvegicus underneath their clothing, and the recovery of the object from the deceased subject's stomach. R. norvegicus instances disappeared when unobserved after being removed from the subjects.
  • SCP-XXXX-4: A ceramic jar containing approximately 97g of an unidentified, white, crystalline substance, observed to foam upon contact with water.3
  • SCP-XXXX-5, -6: Two stainless steel table knives. [FINISH]
  • [FINISH]
  • SCP-XXXX-15: Male human corpse, time of death initially estimated to be 3-6 hours prior to discovery, later complicated by apparent lack of ongoing decomposition. Lacerations to femoral arteries are present and the apparent cause of death. White foam present in eyes.
