Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3021 is to be contained in a standard Foundation chamber that is to be locked at all times. The interior walls, floor, and ceiling are to be coated with 1m of reinforced steel. A surveillance camera is to be located within the cell and is to be monitored by a guard. SCP-3021 is to be sedated whenever it is removed from its cell. When SCP-3021 is removed from containment for an experiment, Foundation personnel are not to converse with SCP-3021 unless necessary. When SCP-3021 is removed from containment in order to be interviewed, the interview is to be monitored by no fewer than two armed guards, and SCP-3021 is to have its arms and legs restrained. No Foundation member is to be allowed to interact with SCP-3021 more than once every two weeks, and psychological tests are to be administered to personnel attempting repeat interactions with SCP-3021. Foundation personnel are not to reveal personal information about themselves or any other Foundation member within earshot of SCP-3021 under any circumstances.

Description: SCP-3021 is a humanoid creature, measuring 2.5 m tall and weighing 114.1 kg. Its fingers are lengthy, measuring 0.8 m. The fingers extend into sharp points that SCP-3021 can use to both rapidly dig through/destroy materials and to attack any objects of its aggression. Though not impervious to gunfire or electrocution, SCP-3021 is very resistant to them, and it has shown remarkable recovery and regenerative abilities. SCP-3021 is completely black in color with the exception of its red eyes. SCP-3021's physique is robust and muscular but has declined significantly since its containment.

SCP-3021 seems to have characteristics commonly associated with sociopaths. It displays a lack of empathy and an extremely manipulative nature. It will attempt to converse with any Foundation member that it can. Foundation members have proven very susceptible to SCP-3021's requests if exposed to it for long periods of time, and it has managed to procure several restricted items that it has used to attempt to escape containment. It is not yet known if this susceptibility is anomalous or simply a result of SCP-3021's extreme manipulative abilities. Because it has shown a willingness to wait until Foundation personnel have been lulled into a false sense of security to use the items, guards must constantly be alert.

SCP-3021 has an affinity toward killing humans, seemingly deriving extreme pleasure from its murders.

Discovery: After a string of three brutal murders in the town of █████████, MTF Canis was dispatched to investigate after several witnesses to the murders spoke of a creature that they claimed was responsible. One witness described it as a "giant black boogeyman with blood-red eyes." Posing as FBI agents, MTF Canis began their operations in the local police station's basement. MTF Canis-1 kept audio logs throughout the investigation that have been transcribed below.

Audio Log Transcriptions:

Capture: After MTF-Canis failed to report in, MTF Venandi was dispached to investigate. Canis-1's body, along with the audio tapes, was discovered in the abandoned building. Additionally, a tunnel system entrance was discovered at the rear of the building. MTF Venandi discovered that the tunnel branched off in many directions and covered most of the town, at some points leading directly under the police station and the abandoned building, with small punctures through the floor, indicating that SCP-3021 may have been listening to MTF Canis throughout their operations. Multiple other MTF units were called in, and they were able to find SCP-3021 within the tunnel system and contain it, but not before █ members were killed.
