SCP-XXXX in containment.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard locked room, access to this room is restricted to level-2 personnel as to not create unnecessary worry or anxiety. If one is not available SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a safe. Alerts from SCP-XXXX are to be ignored as they do not pose a real threat. If SCP-XXXX brings attention to an object or location, it is to be monitored as a potential anomaly.
SCP-XXXX can be used as a way of detecting anomalies that are not yet contained by the foundation, these potential anomalies are to be claimed by the foundation. Since SCP-XXXX cannot communicate, personnel should attempt to communicate whenever possible.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an animate wooden craft with fabric hat, nose and hair. SCP-XXXX is modeled after the fictional figure most commonly known as "Santa Clause." SCP-XXXX is sentient, but will ignore any violence towards it. Research has shown that SCP-XXXX does not require food or water and isn't required sleep and hasn't been seen doing aforementioned things. SCP-XXXX does not act hostile towards any living organism.
SCP-XXXX has an ability to sense objects/locations in a 40m radius that pose a risk to civilian safety or are anomalous in nature, it is unknown how SCP-XXXX accomplishes this, SCP-XXXX does not react to itself. If SCP-XXXX senses one of the aforementioned things SCP-XXXX will attempt to capture a humans attention by moving towards a human with a wobbling motion, once SCP-XXXX has reached said human, SCP-XXXX will tap on the human's leg with an arm like appendage crafted from beads strung together. If said human ignores this SCP-XXXX will wobble over to anomalous/unsafe object and point it out using his arm like appendages.
SCP-XXXX will continue this behavior endlessly until a human notices the object/place. SCP-XXXX will then pace around until SCP-XXXX senses another object.
Addendum: It is unknown if SCP-XXXX creates these anomalies or is simply detecting them.
