Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is currently located in staff supply closet 8 on the 2nd floor of on base housing. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be kept folded in a vacuum sealed container when not in testing. This container is kept in the Archives, but must be checked on daily by a Staff Member with Class 3 Clearance.

Personnel checking on containment must sign that they have seen SCP-XXXX-1 on the electronic keypad access. When SCP-XXXX-2 is requested for study/testing it must be approved by the current site supervisor. If approval is given the container can be checked out of Archives, but must have an escort of at least two trained personnel on the way to lab. No contact is allowed to be made directly to SCP-XXXX-2. A pressure locked room and hazmat suit is required before interacting with the object. Anyone with interaction over 1 hour is required to take a psychological evaluation and blood test.

Description: The two pieces collected are SCP-XXXX-1 which is a dirty pillow and SCP-XXXX-2 a equally dirty pillowcase. Testing of cloth of pillowcase shows that is 100% cotton as printed on the tag on the inner lip. The pillow is an Ikea brand polyester and rayon pillow filled with European goose down. Testing to thread samples taken from the corner, center and stitching on the pillow case show a collection of skin cells, dust mites, bacteria and cosmetics. Nothing that should give it its unique qualities.

SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 have the ability to induce restorative REM sleep when handled for approximately 10 minutes. This is not limited by wether the surroundings are comfortable for sleep on not. If used in presence of a bed this time can be shortened to 1-2 minutes. Following extensive testing the pillow being placed directly on the face and inhaling deeply is the easiest way to activate the pillow.
Subjects who used the pillow recorded feeling at home in their surroundings even in normally stress inducing situations.

After repeated testing on subjects, addiction to the sleep provided by SCP-XXXX was ██%. Subjects who became addicted to the object could not sleep it. in one extreme . Originally thought to be a combination of the two, testing shows that is the SCP-XXXX-2 that has
