Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX flowers and spores are to be contained within containment zone. if SCP-XXXX in any stage of its life cycle escapes, full site lock down is to be initiated. SCP-XXXX is to be fed one D-Class personal per a week. all knew strands of SCP-XXXX are to be contained in a special box and flash frozen in with dry ice.
All strands and forms of SCP-XXXX are to be put in a box and flash frozen with liquid nitrogen, if any strands or forms of SCP-XXXX escapes, full site lock down is to be initiated.

Description: SCP-XXXX1 Was discovered near a botanical garden in [REDATED] after reports of people going to the hospital after visiting. the botanical garden was shut down and everyone was handed Class b amnesiacs. SCP-XXXX1 appears to be a flower that has a resemblance to human blood. when not active, it will resemble a closed flower. when a mammal comes near it, the flower will open and tiny particles (Hereby to be referred to as SCP-XXXXA) will be ejected from the ovaries. when these come into contact with human skin, subjects develop a fever. in the stomach, all acids are converted into special fluids designed to turn food into pollen. after enough time, the subject (unless the subject is hooked up to have necessary proteins delivered to their body) the subject dies of starvation. after this, unless the body is disposed of, spores are ejected from cysts that start to develop, in these clumps, pollen is also released. after this, the few remnants of the body are turned into spores and pollen, and what remains is bones covered in the pollen and spores.

When examined, SCP-XXXX1 has a chemical structure similar to that of xathan gum. when SCP-XXXX1 is examined under a microscope, SCP-XXXX1 contains a completely different set of DNA and golgi apparatus, multiple strands of SCP-XXXX1 exist and continue to evolve at an alarming rate. SCP-XXXX1 seems to have already evolved to adjust to the lab conditions.

List of different strands of SCP-XXXX

SCP-XXXX1
The seemingly original strand of SCP-XXXX, their is a high chance their are other versions that resemble animals instead and survive differently. it can directly alter DNA to allow for "evolution" to occur.

SCP-XXXX2
The first notable occurence in changes. SCP-XXXX2 "evolved" one week after SCP-XXXX1 was contained. SCP-XXXX2 is designed to be able to change the bone structure of humans to be digestible into pollen.

**SCP-XXXX3*
At the point SCP-XXXX3 appeared, nearly all strands of SCP-XXXX1 have "evolved" into other strands. SCP-XXXX3 Differs from the others as it seems to feed off other strands, and even prefers other strands as opposed to humans.

SCP-XXXX4
SCP-XXXX4 at this point, the strands are starting to "evolve" traits that will allow them to escape containment. SCP-XXXX4 excretes acid, in seemingly attempt to dissolve the walls. Possible sentience has been discussed.

SCP-XXXX5
At this point, SCP-XXXX5 is completely different from the other strands. it has "evolved" to develop [redacted] it uses to try to get some spores to escape. it no longer resembles a flower.

Incident report 090890981A
SCP-XXXX[redacted] had caused a full site lock down by developing control over [DATA EXPUNGED] all strands of SCP-XXXX are to be flash frozen in liquid nitrogen, and testing is to be discontinued.
