When worn by a human, SCP-XXXX assumes the role commonly associated with of that of a parent or guardian, and uses parenting techniques including encouragement and punishment. In dangerous situations, it can utilize basic locomotion to prevent them from undergoing physical harm. SCP-XXXX does not possess a self-preservation instinct, reacting only in situations which could present a threat to its wearer. SCP-XXXX's bond with its host increases over time, it becomes averse to the idea of removal after 7 days, and after 2 weeks it will manipulate its wearer's movements to violently resist any attempt at removal (the exact time frames vary depending on the subject's disposition and behavior towards SCP-XXXX). SCP-2436 was discovered on the ocean floor off the coast of Norway near the wreck of the S.S.[REDACTED], containing one human skeleton and a recording device.
