Item #: SCP-####

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-####-1 is to remain at Dedicated Containment Area #### until it has broken containment. After a confirmed containment breach, SCP-####-1 is to be located and any affects are to be mitigated, removed or contained. Collection of the object itself is as simple as picking the item up, as SCP-####-1 will be in a short "Game Over" phase after the affects have worn off, or the event has stopped. The length of this phase is precisely 20 hours and 19 minutes.
Should Dedicated Containment Area #### remain fully functional after a containment breach, however the item is missing, MTF DELTA-####-FS are to enact PROCEDURE-####-1.
Should Area #### be lost, destroyed, removed from reality, shrunk to infinitesimal size, forced into an ZM class dimensional field, or made inaccessible or unusable in any way, Area #### should be rebuilt to the same standards, and re-staffed in the same way, preferably at the previous coordinates of the facility (SEE PROCEDURE-####-2).Following reconstruction, proceed as normal (SEE PROCEDURE-####-1).

If SCP-####-1 is still present, or believed to be present, at Area ####, the site should maintain a 20 minute interval communications check. The communications check should involve a slightly in-depth interview, to prevent possible false positives. Health of all personnel should be monitored constantly as well, and usage of satellite, video, audio, and motion surveillance should be maintained and monitored for anomalous interference or false positive signals.

The outer perimeter of Area #### is to be patrolled by MTF XXXX-#### for civilians, anomalous objects, or D-#### personnel. MTF XXXX-#### is not to be considered personnel of Area #### and are not to be used for any other purpose. They should maintain at least 1 regiment strength at all times.
NOTE1: The current containment protocol is due to recommendations via SCP-####/REF. Should SCP-####/REF rematerialize, restatement of containment protocols is recommended as advancements in technology may help to contain or locate SCP-####-1 in a more cost efficient manner (SEE INTERVIEW_LOG-####/REF).

SCP-####-2 is considered safe, and contained at an undisclosed location.

Description: On 12/██/████, a small package was found in front of Site 19 in a package marked "CONTAIN THIS!." The writing did not match any hand writing identification databases. The package went through standard multiscan to detect the contents. The item was marked anomalous and immediately sent through testing. The object, almost immediately, caused approximately ██ events, resulting in over ███ containment breaches and at least ████ casualties. Several personnel were forced to be dropped to F-Class, and several more went missing. A small pamphlet, designated SCP-####-2, was found within the package (SEE SCP-####-2_TRANSCRIPT).

SCP-####-1 is an object of changing mass, weight, and volume, however SCP-####-1 has not ever measured larger than 252cm x 231cm x 24cm. SCP-####-1 has only one consistently distinguishing feature, a small display that either shows the name of the current event, or "game over".

To: WHOEVER CONTINUES TO MAKE COPIES OF AREA #### SECURITY TAPES
This is not a joke, and if I find any more copies of "Foundation Reality TV" I will have to launch an investigation. What goes on at Area #### could include memetic effects, and judged by the amount of editing these tapes go through, you would be the one afflicted first.
I will be confiscating and reprimanding anyone found with these tapes, this is no joke

SCP-####

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be kept in a 2x1x3 meter room at site-19, with 2 boxes of 12 gauge slugs kept directly underneath. The room must be able to be purged using insecticide via ventilation attached to the room. the room must be monitored for movement via motion sensors. it is suggested that SCP-#### be fired once every 2 hours, to prevent containment breach (SEE INCIDENT REPORT ####-2-ALPHA). Should incident occur, purge the room using insecticide sprayers built into ventilation. if ventilation, motion sensors, or sprayers require maintenance, SCP-#### is to be at a firing range, with regular firing occurring until the containment room is functional again.

Anyone with direct contact to SCP-#### should be administered Class-A amnesiacs, and monitored for SCP-####s influence for the next 6 hours. Should evidence of continued influence arise, the process is to reoccur. If after 3 memory wipes the afflicted is still under its influence, they are to be demoted to D-class personnel.

Note: ANY amount of contact with SCP-#### will cause its memetic effects. Unlike other memetic SCP occurrences, the amount of time physically contacted does not change the affect.

Description: SCP-#### is a SPAS-12 folding stock shotgun, that fires standard 12 gauge rounds. However, when the weapon is used, rather than a slug or shot being fired from the weapon, depending on the type of ammunition, a different anomalous entity exits the barrel. If a slug is fired, a large beetle, identified as a goliath beetle, (designated SCP-####-1) slowly crawls up, and then simply drops, from the end of the barrel. If a shot type of ammunition is fired, a swarm of small japanese hornets (designated SCP-####-2) exit in a similar manner.

After exiting the barrel, regardless of the type of insect, they immediately seek the target that the weapon was fired at.Once the insect has reached the target they begin to attack, each attack varying amongst the insects.

In the case of SCP-####-1, it immediately crawls on the subject and begins to burrow past any forms of defensive outer wear or clothing, and afterwards proceeds to [REDACTED] needless to say, the target feels extreme amounts of pain until their expiration. It will continue this until there are no remnants of the target.

SCP-####-2 swarms on the target, and immediately begin to destroy the targets outer most layer of clothing or protective gear. Unlike SCP-####-1, however, it then slowly begins to disintegrate the target from the outer most to the inner most layer, from skin to bone, until there is finally nothing remaining.

Both of the insects show no signs of limited range or tiring, and they will follow a target until it is dead. The insects also seem to simply move over, around, under, or if they are completely sealed in, eat through obstacles to reach the target.

SCP-#### itself is also anomalous, as any parts removed form the weapon and placed in similar weapons will cause the effect in those weapons as well. SCP-#### also seems to exhibit no signs of wear, even after continuos semi-auto firing. Upon discovery, SCP-#### also had a note attached (SEE NOTE 1-####)

Addendum ####-1A: After Incident ####-1-Beta, SCP-#### is now to be treated as a memetic hazard along with original containment procedures, and said procedures has now been updates accordingly.

Addendum ####-A test Log

Test A-1 - 09-19-████
Resources: 1x Buckshot, D-120123923, D-230917, Cardboard target.
Test: D-120123923 was asked to fire on a provided cardboard target, placed behind D-230917. Both class D personal verbally objected, for fear of D-230917’s health. The class D personal were eventually convinced to continue the test, by threat of [DATA EXPUNGED]
Results: All of the ####-2 flew harmlessly around D-230917, and the target was completely disintegrated.

Test A-2 - 09-20-████

Resources: 1x Slug, D-120123923, Cardboard target.
Test: D-120123923 was instructed to fire on the target, which is held in place on the ceiling of the test chamber.
Results: the entity emerged from the weapon, climbed the wall and the ceiling, and proceeded to attack the target, despite the fact that a goliath beetle is too large to hang from inverted structures.

Test A-3 - 09-20-████

Resources: 1x Slug, D-120123923, RC helicopter, Cardboard target.
Test: D-120123923 was instructed to fire at a target, suspended by the small RC helicopter.
Results: When the entity emerged, it looked at the target for approximately two seconds, then revealed wings common of goliath beetles, and proceeded to attack the target once it reached it.
Notes: Approximately 4 hours after testing, D-120123923 attempted containment breach, and it has been noted that D-120123923 had been repeating “I must save them” after he was released into his holding cell. Further analysis of D-120123923’s breach recordings shows that he was muttering similar phrases of “needing to save my subjects.” After being recaptured, D-120123923 was interrogated, and revealed that SCP-#### had influenced him. D-120123923 stated that he now felt an uncontrollable urge to fire the weapon, and release as many instances of ####-1 and ####-2 as he can. D-120123923 was terminated at the standard end of the month. █ other D-class personnel involved in subsequent testing also exhibited these signs, and were administered several Class-A amnesiacs.

Basic Summary of Information Acquired By Testing: If ####-1 is fired on a flying target, the entity will reveal wings and fly at a high speed to the target. Both ####-1 and ####-2 will attack the intended target of the shot, regardless of objects obstructing a direct line of sight. It is possible to destroy targets being blocked by soft targets, such as people, without harming the person. The instances of ####-1 and ####-2 seem to have an understanding of the desired target, and will only attack the target purposely. The target can be anything intended to be destroyed by the user of SCP-####. It has also been determined that SCP-#### instils a “hive-mind” effect with the user, and the user usually feels themselves to be the leader of the hive.

Note: testing of other projectiles that SPAS-12 can fire (such as tear-gas rounds and bean-bag rounds) is under consideration.
