Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX will not cease crying until placed in a crib. Because of this, SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a specially made containment area in Site ██ containing a small, wooden crib. In the event of hearing SCP-XXXX's crying, The personnel member is to report to Dr. L█████ for treatment. Failure to do so immediately will result in said personnel member becoming an SCP-XXXX-1. Any SCP-XXXX-1 is to be terminated to be moved to special medical room C and given infant food until a full recovery is made.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small, white baby doll wearing blue pajamas. While SCP-XXXX itself has proven to be harmless,it's crying hasn't. When the doll emits a crying noise, (referred to as SCP-XXXX-1A) anyone within range of hearing' s mental abilities will lower, as well as said person becoming an SCP-XXXX-1B. This effect will continue, gradually growing stronger until the person is removed from the vicinity of the doll. Unless treated, they will then stay at the mental capacity of an infant child. Treatment of SCP-XXXX-1B involves feeding the subject large amounts of baby food, as well as [REDACTED]. Upon full recovery, the subject is to be given Class C amnesiac in order to prevent a relapse. In the event that a case of SCP-XXXX-1B is not treated, the subject will enter a mental state similar to sleep. They will cease responding to outside stimuli and, after estimatedly two hours, their brain will completely and permanently shut down.
Addendum: As of ██/██/████, SCP-XXXX's containment area is only to be accessed by personnel with a security clearance of 3 or higher. Also, the immediate surrounding area is to be cleared of all and any personnel during the time of it's movement. - Director of SCP-XXXX, Dr. L█████.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 35 cm tall, 2 pound white baby doll wearing blue pajamas. The doll also has a red switch on the bottom of the left foot, which seemingly does nothing. SCP-XXXX was originally discovered in an abandoned factory in ██████. The factory, originally owned by a toy company, had been abandoned for roughly 60 years, with SCP-XXXX being the only thing left inside. When SCP-XXXX emits a crying noise, anyone within audial range will experience deflation in mood, as well as said person becoming an SCP-XXXX-1 (the name given to anyone exposed to SCP-XXXX). The mood deflation will continue, gradually growing stronger until the person is removed from the audial range of the doll. Unless treated, they will then stay in a permanent state of depression. Treatment of SCP-XXXX-1 involves the patient taking large amount of antidepressants (nearly 40 milligrams daily), and seeing on site councillor. Upon full recovery, the subject is to be given Class C amnestics in order to prevent remembering SCP-XXXX' s crying. In the event that the amnestics are unavailable, a relapse could occur due to the patient thinking about the sound of SCP-XXXX' s crying.
