Description: SCP-XXXX is a black, ████-brand DVD-VHS player. SCP-XXXX does not resemble any of ████'s known models of DVD-VHS players, and attempts to identify its origin and place of manufacturing have so far proved inconclusive.
SCP-XXXX displays its anomalous properties while playing a piece of compatible media. Within several minutes of playing (Usually fifteen to thirty minutes, though wait times of up to an hour have occurred) one or more of the subjects who appear in the media will become an instance of SCP-XXXX-1.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are self-aware, and conscious of any viewers. SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to initiate conversation with any subjects present in the room with SCP-XXXX. These instances display varying levels of intelligence and awareness about their situation, typically dependent on the piece of media playing and its nature.
If the piece of media is a work of fiction, conversations held with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 may have an effect on the plot of the work. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 may use any knowledge gained from these conversations to deviate from the work's standard plot. Repeat viewing on a non-anomalous media player results in the film playing out normally.
In the event that the media is a work of non-fiction, and and features footage of a currently living subject, conversations with an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 may result in a memetic effect on the filmed subject. Subjects affected by SCP-XXXX in this way are not aware of any changes, though often display knowledge or memories of events in some way tied to the instance of SCP-XXXX-1.
If the work of non-fiction contains footage of a subject who is no longer alive at the time of viewing, a Type Three viewing may result. See below.

Affected persons are to be administered a Class-C amnestic and taken into protective custody for the duration of the anomaly's effect.
Reported instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be investigated by Mobile Task Force Iota-5 ('Spoilsports').
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard-sized, tri-fold pamphlet titled 'Fun Game With Brother!' [sic]. Instances of SCP-XXXX are known to arrive at mailing addresses and PO boxes belonging to people possessing antisocial personality traits.
The contents of SCP-XXXX detail the rules of a game similar to hide-and-seek. All text contained within the pamphlet is presented in a broken, grammatically-incorrect version of whatever language the receiver is most fluent in.

Legal information included on the back side of SCP-XXXX reveals that it is produced by an organization referred to as the LAMPREY Group, which claims to exist in █████ ███████, ██1.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest when persons fluent in the pamphlet's language read its entirety. Upon reading all of SCP-XXXX's rules to completion, the affected individual will enter a thirty-day cycle, during which time instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will become visible to the affected party. These exposed individuals are designated SCP-XXXX-2.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are humanoid creatures described as measuring at approximately 2.75 meters tall. Descriptions of SCP-XXXX-1 vary, as reported by SCP-XXXX-2 individuals. Common traits include elongated limbs; brown, burnt skin; and eyes that do not appear to contain visible pupils or irises.
During the thirty-day cycle created by SCP-XXXX, instances of SCP-XXXX-2 will be stalked and pursued by instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have proven to be competent trackers, capable of tracking down their designated SCP-XXXX-2 over great distances. Upon locating their instance of SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to capture and escape with the affected individual. It is unknown what SCP-XXXX-1 does with its prey once it has been captured.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 show little to no interest in individuals who have not read SCP-XXXX, or instances of SCP-XXXX-2 who they are not currently tracking.
If, at the end of the thirty day cycle, the instance of SCP-XXXX-2 has successfully evaded any and all instances of SCP-XXXX-1, they will no longer be able to perceive further instances of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1, in turn, lose all interest in the former SCP-XXXX-2.
Thus far, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have proven undetectable by any technological means.
Addendum: As of ██/██/████ it has been determined that the administration of Class-C amnestics can be used to undo the effects of SCP-XXXX. Foundation staff under the effect of SCP-XXXX are to be treated immediately upon signs of the SCP's anomalous properties.

Description: SCP-20716-J is a Caucasian male of indeterminate age which answer to 'The Great Pazu'. SCP-20716-J has shown a preference for dressing in elaborate suits and tuxedos, and for calling any gathering of people 'boys and girls'.
SCP-20716-J was originally recovered at the birthday party of Dr. McCallister's niece. Upon witnessing SCP-20716-J's anomalous properties, Dr. McCallister called in a retrieval team to secure and transfer it to Site-42 for further testing. The recovery occurred without incident, although there was not enough cake for the entire retrieval team.
SCP-20716-J has displayed a number of anomalous abilities, implying it may possess a low-level reality-warping effect. To date, SCP-20716-J has shown to be able to do the following:
- Determining through unknown means what card a subject has picked form a deck of cards.
- Producing members of the family Leporidae from its hat or sleeve.
- Levitating roughly 5cm off the ground while standing behind a jacket with its legs obscured.
- Separating two (2) interlocked rings simply by pulling on them.
- Something with milk and a newspaper.

**We’ve told you this story about a dozen times now, sir. But I guess since he’s asleep, I can give you the full story.
I used to do odd-jobs for the city council in the town I lived in; street sweeping, setting up for events, that sorta thing. Not glamorous, but it paid my rent. Plus, there was always work to do.
Anyway, we were setting up the county fair when I first met him. He was a real weird guy. I don’t mean he looked weird, or he acted weird… I can’t really put it into words. It was like seeing a shark in a swimming pool, I guess. He seemed like he didn’t belong.
Huh? No, I didn’t really get that impression at the time. I just thought he was putting on an act, you know? Like, it was just stage presence. That’s what you call it, right? I thought that was just the charisma he put into his act.
So, I get assigned to help him set up, right? I helped build the stage he needed. I hauled his rabbits and doves around, and set up all of his props. I never really looked at any of his stuff; I didn’t want to know how he did his tricks onstage.
Looking back, I wish I had looked.**

It’s about time. God, I get sick of that kid. Don’t get me wrong, you know, he’s one of the good ones, but I’m an old-fashioned guy. I think they should keep to their stuff, and we should keep to ours.

I was at the county fair; you already know that part. It was a real nice fair that year. Food stands, games for the kids, entertainment… There was even a magician.
‘Manfred the Magical, the Wizard of Wow’.

God, I wouldn’t have even gone to see that bastard if I hadn’t had a few to drink. I ran into my buddy Paul, and we shot the shit for a while. He had some Coors, so I was smashed by the time that magician’s show started. I decided I’d check it out.
Wasn’t expecting much.
The show went off to a great start, sir. I’ll say one thing for Manfred: he was a showman. He knew how to keep the audience at the edge of their seats. Everyone was amazed, wondering how the hell he did what he did.
Well, almost everyone.//
**Manfred was partway through his act when that drunk started heckling him. He was saying stuff like, ‘Hey dumbshit, I can see the mirrors!’ or ‘Go back to Hollywood, lady!’ And he kept calling Manfred a jew, or a fa… a, uh, homosexual.
Manfred tried to ignore him, but the guy kept on yelling. I thought the police who were at the fair would step in and shut him up, but nobody came. I guess there was other stuff going on, but I still wished someone would do something.
But it wasn’t just him I was worried about. Manfred was smiling for the crowd, but I could tell he was furious. I mean grade-A fucking pissed. It scared me a little. He was staring at that drunk for the whole rest of the show. And when it was over, he walked over to me and told me to get him some coffee.
I shouldn’t have done it. I was worried, yeah, but I didn’t think he’d actually do anything. But I went to get his coffee, and he walked back to his trailer.
Only he didn’t stay there, did he? He came back.**
//The show was good. The guy onstage was a fruit, but he did some good stuff. My dad always told me that if someone can’t take a little ribbing, they shouldn’t get on stage.
Well, that Manfred guy definitely couldn’t take a joke.
After the show, I headed to where my truck was parked. What? Yes, I was still drunk. So what? Are you a cop now? Didn’t think so.
Anyway, I walked out to my truck. And then I saw him; Manfred the Magical, standing next to where I’d parked and just… staring at me. Like his eyes’d bore holes in my head. I don’t know how he knew where I’d be. Some kinda sixth sense, maybe.
I tried to joke around with him, you know? Tell him he’d put on a good show. Then, without saying anything, he just reached out and grabbed my arm. I was surprised. I tried to pull myself away, but he wouldn’t let go. Then, he starts pulling me towards his trailer.
Now, keep in mind, I was about fifty pounds heavier than this guy. I was too drunk and too surprised to really fight back, either way.
So he pulls me into his trailer. Like I’m a little kid getting dragged to his room. And then he just starts screaming at me. Saying how people like me ruin entertainment for everyone else. He was ranting and raving, and even though I was drunk, I realized:
This guy’s crazy. I was barely listening to what he was saying, but I got the message loud and clear. This guy hated me. He’d only met me that day, and he hated me.
I tried reasoning with him. I tried to apologize, and explain I was drunk. It probably would’ve worked, too, but then this dumbshit came in.//
**When I came back to Manfred’s trailer, I could hear two people screaming inside. I recognized Manfred, but I didn’t realize the other voice was the heckler. I couldn’t really make out what they were saying.
God, though, what I did next was stupid. I should have just walked away. But if someone asks me to do something, I do it. I can’t help it. I just like being helpful. So I knocked on the door.
The shouting quieted down. First Manfred, then the heckler. After a few seconds, Manfred opened the door. His face was red. After all the shouting he’d done, I wasn’t surprised. He looked at me for a second, and then he asked why I was there.
I held up the cup of coffee he’d asked for. He didn’t say anything. He just reached out to grab it. But I didn’t let go right away; I guess I was kind of shocked by everything going on.
So, when he goes to grab the cardboard cup, I’m still holding on. And he tugs, and I let go, and the lid flies off.
And hot coffee splashes all over his fancy tux.**
//All of a sudden the fruit drags the kid into the trailer and starts screaming at both of us. I didn’t see what happened, but I saw that Mister ‘Wizard of Wow’ had a big, brown blotch on his tuxedo. I guess the kid tripped over his shoelaces or something.
We’re both sitting there, the kid looks like he’s going to shit himself, and he keeps screaming at us. I never seen anybody look as angry as he did. His face was red, his eyes were all crazy.
I was scared. I’m not ashamed to admit that. I was scared out of my god damned mind.
But then, all of a sudden, it’s like a switch gets flipped. He stops yelling. He looks like he’s calming down.
I’m thinking, ‘Oh, this is just a theater person thing. He was just letting off some steam.’
Then I feel my skin start to itch.//
**It was like I had bugs running all across my skin. No, actually, it felt more like they were under my skin. It started on my arm. The arm I don’t have any more, I mean. That’s what started tingling first.
Then it turned into more than tingling. It was like… It was like, uh…
It was like if you pinch yourself and pull the skin back. It hurt. Only it was all over the left side of my body. I’m guessing the drunk was feeling the same thing on his right side.
I don’t know how to describe what happened next. How it felt, I mean. I broke my arm once when I was a kid, but this wasn’t exactly the same.
I guess it felt like… It sounds stupid, but it felt like my bones were on fire. But it felt wet, too, and my arm started kind of… flopping around. And I was getting pulled towards the drunk while this was happening.
Then I notice Manfred’s smiling as he’s watching this. That’s when I realized that**
//This psycho son of a bitch was doing something to us. Something that hurt. Something that was just wrong.
Do you know what it feels like to have part of your body just sort of melt?
I could see my bones, man. I could see them stretching out towards the kid’s bones. Our bodies were wide open, getting drawn towards each other.
Shit. Sorry, I still have nightmares about it.
The kid does, too. I know that now.//
**I’m not sure how long it took. It felt like hours. Manfred was standing there the whole time, though, so maybe it was only a few minutes.
God.
He stares at us when it’s done. When we’re not two people anymore. He smiles and says that we deserve each other. Like this is some sort of punishment.
All I did was spill coffee on him!**

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard-sized Safe-class containment unit. When not being tested, this containment unit is to be kept at a constant temperature of 19°C.
Every 24 hours, an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 must be collected and ingested by a member of Foundation personnel. If no personnel volunteer for this duty, the instance may be fed to a D-Class personnel as determined by random lottery.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard-sized box of chocolates in the shape of a Valentines heart. SCP-XXXX contains twenty-four pieces of chocolate in a variety of flavors, hereafter referred to collectively as SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 are sapient, and appear to share a collective consciousness. Removal of individual instances does not diminish intelligence, and prolonged separation yields similar results. SCP-XXXX-1 has shown an ability to communicate via unknown means with individuals within auditory range, and 'speaks' in English with a pronounced Austrian accent.
Above all else, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 express a desire to be eaten by humanoid individuals. If no instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are eaten within a twenty-four hour period, SCP-XXXX-1 will begin expressing distress. SCP-XXXX-1 will develop anomalous properties to aid it in seeking out individuals to be consumed by. To date, the following methods have been used:
- Individual instances of SCP-XXXX-1 assuming the forms of typical American House Spiders and crawling into individuals' mouths.
- Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 being flung from SCP-XXXX at nearby humanoids, generally aiming for the subjects' mouths.
- Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 melting together and moving through cracks and narrow passages in search of humanoid individuals.
When consumed, SCP-XXXX-1 tailors itself to whatever the subject's least favorite flavor is. These range from standard candy flavors (coconut, caramel, etc.) to unusual flavors such as prawn, cod, or anomalous flavors such as 'inevitable despair' or 'your own insides'.
After twenty-four hours, SCP-XXXX will generate new instances of SCP-XXXX-1 sufficient to refill the box to 24 chocolates.
Retrieval Log: SCP-XXXX first came to the Foundation's attention when it was delivered to the home of Junior Researcher B. Meyers. Upon an attempt at communication by SCP-XXXX-1, Meyers reported the anomaly to the Foundation. SCP-XXXX was collected shortly thereafter.
