Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-02 is to be contained in a multi-lock container inside a multi combination safe inside SCP-XXXX-03's cell. SCP-XXXX-02 is to be worn when conversing with SCP-XXXX-03. SCP-XXXX-01 has remained on SCP-XXXX-03 after testing, due to the symbiotic nature of SCP-XXXX-01. No personal are to listen to the entity without a portable and advanced lie detector on hand when near his cell. When requesting for items, any and all requests are to be given to Dr Rhys for authorisation.
Description: SCP-XXXX-01 is a helmet which has been dated back to the eleventh century. When cross-referenced with other helms worn in that era, it is clear that it belonged to [REDACTED]
When worn, SCP-XXXX-01 is capable of fusing itself to the head of the wearer over a period of 10 minutes, often causing significant pain to the subject in the process. Once fused, subjects affected by SCP-XXXX-01 will experience a heightened level in their abilities of deception. As to this date, no non-lethal force has gotten SCP-XXXX-01 off without certain death. SCP-XXXX-01 is able to let the person lie through moderately good lie detectors. it was also proven that SCP-XXXX-01 is able to lie through SCP-XXXX-02's power.
There is an area of effect (10ft), making anyone close enough to hear a voice that promises a unique power to those who wear it. Research into the helm about it being telepathically has been cancelled due to Test-05
SCP-XXXX-02 is a pair of gauntlets which is also dated to the eleventh century. It is different to the other gauntlets designs (smoother metal than others recovered, gem embedded within the pair).
SCP-XXXX-02 has no area of effect when not worn by anyone. SCP-XXXX-02, when worn, dulls the affected subject's abilities to deceive the wearer in, roughly, 1.55 meters. Whenever the affected subject attempts to deceive SCP-XXXX-02, they will feel a sharp pain in their left temporal lobe, causing them to stutter before telling SCP-XXXX-02 what it is they were deceiving it about.
Investigations of SCP-XXXX show that 01 was made by Master of the Forge Sa-Malumam. These were handed in by Master of the Forge's descendants after inspecting the family tree of [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP-XXXX-02 was handed into the National Museum when they were asking for anyone with anything from the 11th century. SCP-XXXX-02 was handed in with a note saying, "To fix mistakes. - Nobody" The note is locked away in Foundation archives for analysis.
SCP-XXXX-03 is a Hispanic man, aged 46. SCP-XXXX-03 was created after Test-05 finished where SCP-XXXX-01 melded with SCP-XXXX-03.
SCP-XXXX-03, formally known as D-10150, was meant to be terminated on the same day as the test.
However, due to SCP-XXXX-01's power, he put it on and was taken back to his cell. SCP-XXXX-02 was taken off of him to stop it's effect from working.
Command has deemed him to live for now until he is no longer useful. Testing is underway to see if SCP-XXXX-01 or SCP-XXXX-03 is telepathic or not.
Since Test-05, the Object's class has been increased from Safe to Euclid.
Full Report of SCP-XXXX:
According to MTF Iota-10 (Damn Feds)'s report, the objects were a recent set to be shown off at the National History Museum, NY. On the same day as the opening, SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02 were stolen by an employee. He was then arrested, lying to the officers about the theft. When Iota-10 personnel went to take SCP-XXXX-01 and 02 into Foundation custody, one of the officers was wearing SCP-XXXX-02 and found out about the second officer's [DATA CORRUPTED].
Iota-10 found out about the properties of the objects when the officer asked where he was to be taken. Instead of a cover story, he told the officer about the Foundation. Both were terminated and brought the items to Site-19 for study. (See Iota-10 SCP-XXXX Recovery Log)
Addendum-01: SCP-XXXX-01 was recorded to have been worn by Templar [CORRUPTED], one of the scouts sent by Guy of Lusignan before the Siege. In a journal that was also sent in with SCP-XXXX-02, The Templar was said to have been captured by the Muslims, where he was forced to hear their "blasphemous whisperings to a helmet of Templar colours", forced to wear it and lied to Guy about the forces in Acre's wealthy port. It is assumed that the Templar is killed afterwards.
The following is the letter from Sa-Malumam
"To my friends back in Acre, this letter is warning. King Richard's Templars have a pair of gauntlets that can be used to make someone tell the truth. I know this because I have seen them use it on enemies and spies in the circle. They are so far undefeatable when they have this, which is why I send you this helm. I have made it out of the metal that the pair of gauntlets are made from. It has the ability to lie through the gauntlets' power, so that our secret is safe.
Just sing out our praises to our true god and his power will flow through the helm so we may survive.

It has been speculated that the helm has lost power over the centuries after the letter was written. Research into how powerful it was before rediscovery is underway.
Addendum-02: The following is an incident following containment breach on Site-19. following these events, extra security has been installed when Containment Breach has occurred.
Incident Log-01
Subject: Agent S█████
Researcher: Dr Sean
Foreword: This incident was not found until much later, due to the fact that the Agent was locked in the room after a containment breach. Dr Rhys, learning this event, was rushed to guide the Agent to safety. This is the recording and transcript of the incident.
Sean: Okay, Agent S█████, I want you to be careful. Listen to my voice and mine alone. I cannot stress this enough.
Agent: I don't know about this. I can hear something from the box.
Sean: Ignore it, S█████ and focus. The power is back on and all you need to do is input the code.
Agent: All right, code is being entered as we speak.
At this point, the cameras within the holding cell were cut off for exactly ten minutes. Feed came back with the agent in the corner
Agent: I… I… now know the truth.
Sean: What are you on about, agent?
Agent: I know what SCP-████ is now. I understand it all, please let me out.
Sean: That SCP is highly classified. You are not authorised to even have heard of it.
Agent: Please… I can help now…
Sean: Initiate purge of SCP-████'s room.
Automated Voice: Commencing Purge. In 3… 2… 1…
Agent was banging the glass with the gauntlets, cracking it in the process.
Sean: Jesus Chri-
All camera feed are then shut off, melted into place from the purge.
Automated Voice: Purge complete
Closing Statement Agent S█████ and Dr Sean has been burned alive. Although the purge was complete, the objects are still in one piece. Tests, at time of incidence, have begun underway to see how durable. Dr Rhys is now researcher in charge of SCP-XXXX-01 and 02
Addendum-03:
Test-05
Foreword: D-Class 10150 is near the end of his monthly duty before termination. Following protocol, he doesn't know that he will be terminated at the end of the month.
Time: 1020: 10150 enters the chamber and looks at SCP-XXXX and 02 in front of him. Dr Rhys is in the next room, studying the room's data recordings and guiding 10150 to his next objective.
Time: 1025: 10150 picks up SCP-XXXX-02 and puts them on. No data changes present on screen, Dr Rhys then ordered 10150 to take off SCP-XXXX-02. He didn't follow the order and place his hands on the window.
Time: 1026: 10150 then demanded to know what happens to him after the month ends. Dr Rhys then told 10150 that he will be terminated as soon as the month ends.
Time: 1028: Dr Rhys then asked why 10150 ask the question. 'The gloves said, "Place me on the glass and your life will be spared." Then the helmet says to me "Put me on and I will give you the chance to escape."'
Time: 1030: 10150 then placed the helm on and the cameras go off.
Time: 1100: 10150 is then facing off against armed personal hands above his head. He is then placed in handcuffs and taken to his cell.
Final note on test: —We have installed a safe with a multi-lock installed to keep 10150 (now SCP-XXXX-03) away from SCP-XXXX-02. Only Head Researcher, Dr Rhys and anyone studying SCP-XXXX-01 to 03 are allowed to know the codes to the safe. SCP-XXXX-03 has cracked it numerous times and is now instead in Dr Rhys office for study and safekeeping.
Dr Rhys's final note on this object:
These things are clearly dangerous in the wrong hands, we have to kill him. To ensure that he won't cause a containment breach. Already, the guards are on the edge around him. Just give me the word and that will be the last we hear of that.

Testing will continue for now as we must understand how or why SCP-XXXX works like it does. Termination request has been denied as this could open up more testing routes for us to explore.
