"Curtain Ninjas" Draft

Item #: Pending

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Object must be hung on a wall at least six (6) ft off the ground, and have two guards by it on either side of it at all times. Every ten (10) minutes, the guard on the left side will close SCP-XXXX. In the event of SCP-XXXX fully opening, personnel are to close it as soon as possible, regardless of any casualties gained. When transporting SCP-XXXX, personnel are to carefully mount it on a six (6) by six (6) ft panel of wood held upright, whilst keeping it closed.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a dark brown curtain with blue and green floral patterns on it. It measures five point five (5.5) ft tall and five (5) ft wide when closed. The beam on which SCP-XXXX is supported on seems to be made of some kind of wood, though the type is indistinguishable.

SCP-XXXX is constantly opening from left to right. The force that is opening it is unknown, though, something can be visibly seen grabbing and pulling it by the creases in the fabric. However, when pushed upon, nothing seems to be behind SCP-XXXX other than the wall it is mounted on. Once SCP-XXXX folds up to roughly point five (0.5) ft in length, the force pulling it open ceases and all lights in the room will either shut off, dim, or flicker. However, lights turned on after the effect will not be affected by this, and will function normally.

Once this occurs, a single figure begins to [DATA EXPUNGED]. (see Addendum XXXX-c) figures begin to [REDACTED]. The figures are humanoid, though have never been clearly seen due to their nature and the lighting malfunctions caused by SCP-XXXX. However, sightings conclude that the specimens consist of ones resembling a researcher, several security officers, Class D personnel, unidentified civilians, and a stout, hairier version of the specimens. Twenty-seven are known to exist, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-27. The species of the specimens is to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A.

When a SCP-XXXX-A claims a victim, that person will disappear and an additional SCP-XXXX-A will begin to [REDACTED]. Due to this, researchers conclude that they convert fauna into their own species. Method of doing so is currently unknown, though researchers speculate it involves some sort of brainwashing. The specimens do not seem to prey on anything other than human beings. (see Addendum XXXX-e)

Addendum XXXX-a: SCP-XXXX was discovered when several accounts of disappearances were reported occurring within a household in █████████, ██████████. Eventually, the Foundation was contacted, leading into it conducting an investigation within the household. After repeatedly having to close SCP-XXXX, Agent ██████ noticed that it kept automatically opening and reported it to the Foundation.

Addendum XXXX-b: After sending D-█████ into SCP-XXXX's chamber and being ordered to open SCP-XXXX, the lighting began to malfunction as a glimpse of a figure was seen through the glass, before the disappearance of D-█████. Further testing will be needed to clarify on what the specimen was.

Addendum XXXX-c: After sending D-████ and D-██████ into SCP-XXXX's chamber and being ordered to open the curtain, the lights nearly went out completely, though several humanoid figures were briefly seen within the chamber. This confirms that there are multiple specimens, and that they resemble humans. Personnel being sent inside now to close SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-d: SCP-XXXX-A seem unresponsive to animals. A four-year-old male German shepherd was not harmed after being within the containment chamber of SCP-XXXX for more than an hour, regardless of the glimpses of SCP-XXXX-A briefly appearing every few minutes. Further testing required.

Addendum XXXX-e: The SCP-XXXX-A do respond to animals, though only primates so far. After sending in a gorilla for testing, it soon disappeared. Ever since, the gorilla has become one of the SCP-XXXX-A. This may conclude they only prey on primates. Further testing required.
