This is my character I've been working on for my first submission to the site in lieu of an SCP. I'm making a sort of chronicle of Agent Ramases' SCP encounters as sort of a prep for the new roleplaying forums, as I want to establish a persona to use. I'll be trying to show his growth through Foundation reports, journal entries, and traditional third-person bits. I've got a pretty good idea of what his character progression is going to be like, and I'm working on a few different SCP ideas for Ramases to encounter as well. I have more written, but I'm posting a short segment to get reactions and edits to my original idea.

James Kendall counted the seconds on his watch. Fifteen-thirty, the man had said, and if he remembered his military time as well as his genius brother said him he didn't, the man was late. Three minutes late. Slouching heavily against the wall, he glanced again at his watch and twirled his pencil around his fingers, making it dance back and forth in-time with the music in head. Just as the crescendo of the 1812 Overture hit, a man tapped him on his shoulder, almost causing him to drop him pencil and stopping his performance. As he turned to admonish the man, he caught a blur of motion out of the corner of his eye from the other direction just before it robbed him of his senses.

Jameson Kendall (217-Ramases)

Age: 26 Sex: Male (Unaltered) DOB: July 17, 19██
Height: 1.72M Weight: 60kg

Mental Assets:
Subject is incredibly loyal to those who have gained his trust, even at times overriding his own internal morality in favor of a perceived friend or ally. Subject is also highly intelligent, but doesn't always pay attention once his guard is down, and challenges assumptions only rarely. 217 has a forceful personality, perhaps stemming from his massive ego. Personable, and makes friends easily. However, despite these extroverted tendencies, 217 occasionally seeks a private area and paces frantically for several hours, rebuffing most human contact. This seems to be merely psychological, and not the result of any outside force, though this will of course be monitored.
Physical Assets:
Subject has a hyperactive metabolism, and while apparently underweight, is undeniably strong and has a very good balance, though he tires very easily and takes a disproportianately long time to recover from overexertion. Subject is well-developed in the martial art of Wing Chun, an offensive style with emphasis on upper-body strength. Due to being left-handed but having a dominant right eye, 217 is inaccurate with any firearm larger than a pistol.

Recommendation: Field Agent/Mobile Taskforce

-So, I'm starting a journal of my time in the Foundation, and hopefully I can provide some guidance or entertainment to whoever gets my room after I get devoured by a cosmic entity or something. I'm not writing this on a computer where everyone on the Site with a badge can read it, and while I'd LOVE to forego writing this manually, if I tried to record this with a mic they'd probably pick it up somehow.
I'm pretty at ease with my decision to come here, surprisingly. Usually it takes me a long time to make big choices like this, but coming here feels oddly right.
Really, I've only just got over the fact that apparently Bigfoot exists, or so the lunch staff say. When I got here and was told about this whole "Secure, Contain, Protect" thing….. But while I may have felt stunned, it was nothing to how the whole room looked- There was three guys who just got up and left. Never saw them again. I was assigned as a Field Agent, Class-C and was given a Level 1 Clearance, until I complete my probationary period and I'm upgraded to Class 2. I have no idea what most of that means, and I'll have to flip through the primer again, before it burns up or whatever they said it was going to do. We'll be tested on everything in there, and I'm not sure I want to know what happens to those who fail.
Everyone's so serious around here. I know they have reason to be, being the surrogate protectors of the Earth and everything, but no one laughs, or jokes that's not Class D or janitorial. They also had the incredible audacity to take away my comics! If they haven't come for a "Random Area Clean" already, hide anything you want to keep. Even though they say you get to keep a few personal items, they basically take away everything, as having "Nonstandard foreign objects" could contaminate the SCPs. Oh, and everything has a code-name or an acronym here. If you don't learn every last one of them you'll look really dumb at the cafeteria when everyone's telling tales.
Also, I'm going to start asking around about where they keep "foreign objects." Operation: Captain America (Issue No. 1) has begun.
