Item" SCP XXXX

OBJECT CLASS: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX is to be stored inside a 5x5x5 meter room. SCP XXXX is to be hung from a small coat hanger inside the room. No entry into SCP XXXX's cell is permitted unless for testing purposes. All personnel who enter must have the door locked behind them with a 6 digit pass code lock, which is to be reset after use.

Description: SCP XXXX is a T-shirt about the size of a men's size 12 T-shirt. SCP XXXX has text on the upper chest that is written in a language that has yet to be deciphered. This text appears as random shapes and characters, but no link to any known language has been made. Upon it's initial discovery in █████ Massachusetts, It was captured by foundation personnel after reports of a T-shirt spontaneously appearing out of thin air surfaced. The shirt was found on ████████ street. All who saw this event were administered class A amnestics. There is no brand labeling on SCP XXXX, which makes tracking it's original location extremely difficult, to impossible.

The anomalous properties of SCP XXXX don't manifest until a person enters within 3 meters of SCP XXXX. SCP XXXX will change to the subject's favorite color, and the text will change to the words "wear me". The subject will also feel a strong urge to put on SCP XXXX, destroying any obstacle in their path to put it on, as if losing control of their bodily functions. Upon wearing SCP XXXX, the wearer will vanish as if never there. However, the subject's heat signature will still remain and can be tracked, and the subject seemingly regains conciousness, and ceases aggretion. With every hour that passes for the next 6 hours, a portion of the heat signature will vanish. After 6 hours pass, the subject's heat signature completely fades. SCP XXXX will then remanifest in it's containment chamber. It would seem that SCP XXXX can only remanifest at the location where it was put on. Any and all information of the subject is erased including memories people had of the subject, with the exception of surveillance footage from the heat signature tracking cameras. No other information about the subject is left behind, and SCP XXXX reverts to it's 'inactive' state. Once every 3 weeks, SCP XXXX will seem to molt, or shed 'skin'. No physical changes occur after this molt. The purpose behind this molt is unknown, and it is unknown what causes it. However, when samples of the shed 'skin' , it is chemically identical to human bone marrow. The DNA samples don't match any human on record, and these samples vary in shape, and size ranging anywhere from 3.2 centimeters, to 9.2 centimeters. Subjects describe SCP XXXX as feeling itchy, and almost like it's alive and breathing. The shedding of skin, and this breathing may suggest that SCP XXXX is organic, and possibly a living organism. Further tests will be conducted to discover if this is true.
