Description: SCP-XXXX is a small cardboard box labeled "Atomic Energy Lab". It is estimated to be approximately 70 years old, and is labeled on the back with a sticker reading "Dr. Wondertainment - fun for all ages!" The box is worn, but in reasonably good condition considering its age. On the front is a short detailing of contents, including the following:

● One (1) atomic cloud chamber with projector illuminator.
● One (1) spinthariscope.
● One (1) electroscope.
● Four (4) radioactive materials (Note: radioactive materials have been identified as uranium, radium, polonium and one additional, highly radioactive element that could not be identified by Foundation personnel prior to use of enclosed instruction manual. It is referred to in the instruction manual as ████████ium).

The box contains all items listed on the front of the box along with the following unlisted items:

● One (1) Geiger-Müller radiation counter.
● One (1) illustrated instruction manual (see addendum XXXX-1.
● One (1) power chord with 4 outlets for connecting electrical appliances.
● Various highly advanced technological parts and components used in the construction of nuclear power plants. Several parts could not be identified by Foundation personnel prior to use of enclosed instruction manual.

The instruction manual is 7 pages long and gives extremely detailed instructions on how to build a miniature nuclear power plant using the components enclosed in the box. Several of these components are impossible to replicate using modern technology. The instruction manual also contains paragraphs detailing highly complex mathematical formulas and other theory concerning atomic and sub-atomic particles. It fully explains how every step of the assembly process is necessary for the function of the plant and how it relates to the theories supporting it. The language and tone used in the manual is very educational and seems to be aimed at children of ages 8-12. It seems to be impossible to correctly construct the power plant without reading the instruction manual (Note: Further testing is underway to examine if this is an anomalous property of SCP-XXXX or if it is due to insufficient knowledge of Foundation personnel).

Correct assembly of all components results in a fully functional nuclear power plant that can power any device tested to date that normally connects to a wall socket. When used as power sources for the plant, inserted radioactive elements seem to give off no harmful radiation. This radiation, along with any radioactive waste, is instead absorbed and disposed of by the plant. This happens automatically by a process which is currently unknown, and not detailed in the instruction manual.

With this kit you yourself can recreate the fun of a nuclear power plant right in your own living room! This kit is completely safe to use, but we still recommend that you ask your dad to help you with some of the trickier parts when you're building the Atomic Energy Lab. The manual you are reading will tell you everything you need to know to make the atoms go crazy right before your very eyes!

The mechanical parts you find in the box are all you need to build your own Atomic Energy Lab, but the fun doesn't end when you're done building! No, this instruction manual also tells you everything you need to know about how the machine you built works and the theory behind atomic science in general.

You are probably very eager to get to building now, but first we have some safety tips for your parents. Hi daddy!
1. Do not eat radioactive materials. If you, one of your children, or any other living being accidentally eats some of the radioactive material you should feed them lots of sugar. This helps to isolate the radioactive particles and makes them relatively harmless.

2. Don't leave your atomic energy lab out in the sun for too long. If it gets hot, you might have a meltdown on your hands. Of course this will never happen as the atomic energy lab is completely safe, but if it should happen anyway we recommend you take shelter in your basement.

3. This is the big one. Don't turn the delta dial above 6 while the secondary core is at below 45% capacity. We understand your curiosity, but don't do it.

Now, with all that out of the way we have but one more thing to say - we hope you have as much fun with your Atomic Energy Lab as Dr. Wondertainment had with his!
