Item #: SCP-001[-ARC]
Object Class: Henokan / Yggdrasil
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the statistical nature of SCP-001[-ARC], containment is infeasible and unnecessary.
Description: SCP-001[-ARC] is an ongoing probability anomaly affecting all identified anomalous phenomena. Cooperation from several Groups of Interest strongly suggests SCP-001[-ARC] uniformly affects all extant anomalous phenomena, and investigation with parallel Foundations accessed by use of cross-temporal anomalies has thus far shown SCP-001[-ARC] to be present across all known timelines.
SCP-001[-ARC] manifests as a growing trend in:
- yearly anomalous phenomena manifestations;
- localisation of anomalous phenomena within the Roche sphere of Earth, and;
- probability for anomalous phenomena to have complimentary and/or compounding properties.
While graphing of these elements among earlier-discovered SCP’s shows expectable randomness, more recent anomalies are shown to be under the effect of a growing cohesion of unclear origin.
The existence of SCP-001[-ARC] suggests there is an underlying pattern responsible for determining the location, properties, and volume of anomalies that manifest yearly, with the progression of time (or another factor influenced by or concurrent with time) inducing a preference for the above three trends.

- Providing background context for SCP-001 (Current) and Incident 3924-[DATA EXPUNGED].
Digital representation of a 3924LANG word (Doefang, ‘eleven’) in the formal/Futhorc script, with the root runes below.
Item #: SCP-3924[-ARC]
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Foundation web crawlers are to monitor for and flag potential instances of SCP-3924[-ARC]. Confirmed SCP-3924[-ARC] instances are to be retrieved by any capable Mobile Task Force. If an SCP-3924[-ARC] instance is immobile, poses a threat to secrecy, and/or contains confidential Foundation information, the instance is to be photographed, catalogued, then destroyed.
Description: SCP-3924[-ARC] are numerous superficially-random packets of information that vary in content, medium of transfer, and time of delivery. Encountered mediums include text messages, inscriptions on artistic works, and natural geography erosion; in all cases SCP-3924[-ARC] lack any discernible origin.
The language used in SCP-3924[-ARC] varies between Modern English, a pidgin English, and a previously unencountered language (3924LANG). 3924LANG is a descendant of Old English that wholly lacks any apparent Latin influence, except when using loanwords from Modern English; in addition, when able, the language will be transcribed in one of two scripts deriving from Ogham or Anglo-Saxon Futhorc.
Comparison of SCP-3924[-ARC] suggest they are produced by a single entity (SCP-3924[-ARC]-A) in order to communicate with Individuals and/or Groups of Interest. Identified GOI’s include:
- The Foundation – the Overseer Council especially are the intended recipients of 87% of SCP-3924[-ARC] targeted toward the Foundation.
- The Serpent’s Hand – despite an apparent inability to contact any specific individual more than once, SCP-3924[-ARC]-A has an ongoing interest in encouraging Serpent’s Hand members to promote cross-interactions between anomalies, or investigate specific regions, concepts, or books present in the Wanderer’s Library.
- The Black Queen – identical to Serpent’s Hand communications, but with greater success at repeatedly contacting individuals.
- Whitelist – SCP-3924[-ARC]-A shows extreme distrust toward the GOI but appears to have received sufficient assistance from ‘Number 8’ (periodically referred to as ‘King G’) to warrant further communication.
- The Global Occult Coalition – communication is one-sided. SCP-3924[-ARC]-A repeatedly requests GOC operatives to perform tasks for it but refuses to divulge any information regarding itself. Several SCP-3924[-ARC] chastise GOC personnel for destroying anomalies rather than performing requested tasks with them.
- Alexylva University – communications are frustrated in tone; GOI appears to only be interested in interviewing the anomaly.
- The Factory – communications are universally aggressive in tone; with three exceptions, these SCP-3924[-ARC] always contain insults, and in several cases consist entirely of them.
SCP-3924[-ARC]-A has identified itself by the following aliases:
- The outsider [sic].
- Zalgo.
- Arthelstenn Meircan.
- Kunsgnos O Conghaile.
- A name consisting of ‘a glottal trill, an open supra-front [sic] rounded vowel, a three-second long tenuis lateral click, several potatoes, and a K.’
- Jack Ike.
- 12.
SCP-3924[-ARC] are achronological; multiple instances that logically (and thus, are presumed to) follow others manifest significantly earlier than their successors, and several recorded SCP-3924[-ARC] refer to future events in the past tense. These foretellings have periodically been inaccurate, but are usually discovered to have occurred in alternate timelines.
Addendum 1: SCP-3924[-ARC] samples.

Item #: SCP-001
Object Class: Ain / Principalis
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-001, containment is theoretically impossible.
Further action is under consideration by the Overseer Council.
Description: SCP-001 is a sapient entity capable of interacting with anything within acknowledgeable reality at any point in time. This ability to interact with specific places and times appears to be limited; alterations are frequently anachronistic (and in many cases spread across multiple timelines) and scattered randomly spatially, however the growing trend of localisation to Earth in the current era suggests SCP-001’s competency is growing.
Communications between SCP-001 and various Groups of Interest, facilitated by anachronological messages throughout history show the entity is, or believes itself to be, outside all forms of recognisable reality; how SCP-001 attained this state and how it perceives/experiences its environment is currently unclear, however the replies from the entity (believed to relate to the topic) repeatedly mention ‘the leak in Sub-Level 5 [sic].’
Excluding communication, the majority of SCP-001’s interferences take the form of anomaly manifestations. Due to SCP-001’s erratic actions it is unclear which, and how many, anomalies are products of SCP-001 rather than occurring ‘naturally;’ for simplification, SCP-001 has been designated by the Overseer Council as the singular origin and motivating force behind all anomalous phenomena.
SCP-001’s current focus appears to be the creation of numerous anomalies with complimentary properties, for the purpose of initiating an Apollyon/Maksur-Class Anomaly Cascade within the locale of Earth sometime in the oncoming future, in order for the anomaly to ‘enter reality.’
Addendum: Incident 3924-[DATA EXPUNGED]
Estimated time of manifestation: 16/02/2019, 3:33 PM.
Location and/or medium: Digital text message, personal phone of O5-3.
Content: ‘Because, [IDENTITY EXPUNGED], if you won’t allow them to combine, my only other options are to create more; or, get rid of impediments.’
Language/script used: Modern English, Latin script. Repeated in 3924LANG, Latin script.
Estimated intended recipient/s: O5-3.
Note/s: O5-3 stated the message was a direct and unmistakeable response to an internal thought. At 6:33 PM, O5-3 was killed by the initial manifestation of SCP-████.
