Description: SCP-1775 is an MP3 file contained on a 2 GB ██████ brand USB drive. No files are able to be placed on the affected object nor are they copyable. One file is present on the device, named “UNKOWNTRAK003.MP3”. The file is playable on all service capable of playing traditional MP3 files. However, the file is unable to be copied to any computer or storage device. The contents of the file do not appear to occupy any space on the hard drive. The file is a previously unknown recording of the song “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” by singer Robert Allen Zimmerman known publicly as Bob Dylan. The recording is of poor quality and appears to have been recorded on a separate device from a vinyl record. The recording is approximately 1 ½ hours long and has the same lyrics up until the 6:50 second mark where the song ends on a traditional recording. After this point in the recording, the lyrics begin to shift tonally from the opening lyrics of the song. There is no record of lyrics played after the ending of the traditional song in any other recordings of Bob Dylan or any other known record. The lyrics include topic such as: racial segregation, public lynchings, ██████, political assassinations, bodily mutilation, cannibalism, infanticide, and ████. Sampling of the lyrics is included in Document 1775-A45. At the 85:30 second mark the singer, who sound experts identify as Bob Dylan, begins weeping uncontrollably. Those with Level 3 Clearance may view Sound Analysis E-985 for a transcript of the exchange. Subjects exposed to the recording report an uneasy feeling and an increase of paranoia. After a period of 38 hours exposed subjects will begin feeling a compulsion to give all their physical possession and in severe cases begin removing organs and pleading for them to be given to the sick.
