Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of three objects. SCP-XXXX-1 is a 2GB SanDisk extendable-end flash drive. Contained on this drive are two files, SCP-XXXX-1-1 and SCP-XXXX-1-2.

SCP-XXXX-1-1 is a WAV audio file, titled "epicbass1.wav", containing a dubstep bassline lasting approximately 7 seconds. SCP-XXXX-1-1's apparent function was use in the creation of songs of that genre. As discovered in the incident that led to its discovery, after approximately 5 minutes of listening to this loop in any form the brain cavity of the listener slowly begins to pressurize. This causes headaches reported to increase in intensity as the bass continues to be played, leveling off at moderate levels of pain for unknown reasons. The origin of this pressure is also unknown. After approximately 8 minutes, the pressure will increase to the point where the listener will experience sudden cracks in the skull. No known listener has survived past this stage. Once dead, the effect ceases and no additional pressure is exerted.

SCP-XXXX-1-2 is a text file titled "readme.txt". Inside this file is a pattern of Unicode characters, initially believed to be an encryption of the file's terms and conditions. Its anomalous properties were revealed after accidental exposure to the effects of SCP-XXXX-1-1 due to a containment breach by SCP-████. This breach caused the deaths of all workers currently observing SCP-XXXX-1 other than Dr. ████████, who had previously studied SCP-XXXX-1-2 in an attempt to decrypt it. This exposed SCP-XXXX-1-2's memetic effect of making the reader immune to the effects of SCP-XXXX-1-1. Dr. ████████, █ days later, expressed a desire to create music of the dubstep genre. His request to install a music editor on his personal computer for recreational use in breaks was accepted. A later check by Dr. S█████ of SCP-XXXX-1's locker during a search for an unrelated item revealed that SCP-XXXX-1 had been stolen. Alerts were raised and it was found to be in the possession of Dr. ████████, who was using the bassline to create a song. He was subsequently administered Class-C amnestics and banned from any testing related to SCP-XXXX. Containment procedures were adjusted to account for possible future instances.
