Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in locked containment off-site, and containment location is to be shifted in random intervals approved by any O5 Overseer.

ALL FURTHER TESTING OF SCP-XXXX TO CEASE BY ORDER OF O5 COMMAND.

All direct physical contact with SCP-XXXX is to be handled BY D CLASS PERSONNEL ONLY. All studies of SCP-XXXX are to be lead by two (2) Level 4 personnel who are to make no direct visual contact with SCP-XXXX or observe any live video feed of SCP-XXXX. All studies are to be conducted by no less than two (2) Level 2 personnel at any given time if using live video feed, and four (4) if making direct visual contact with SCP-XXXX.

All subjects involved in study of SCP-XXXX must pass mandatory daily psychiatric screenings and a background check of worldwide police databases. All personnel will be required to report any alteration in behavior on the part of one (1) member of personnel daily, regardless of severity. A more rigorous psychiatric test will be provided to any personnel reported in this matter by two (2) or more members of personnel. Personnel failing this test will be have their clearance for SCP-XXXX revoked, and SCP-XXXX's containment will change locations pending approval by any 05 Overseer.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1950's refrigerator covered in writing. Large portions of the writing appears to be of Russian origin, although it forms no known words. Remaining writing on interior and exterior forms shapes, arrows, and lines. Linguistics personnel have been brought in to examine SCP-XXXX, but have not successfully translated the writing.

Upon opening SCP-XXXX, a dead body will be found within, often showing signs of severe ██████. %100 of these bodies have been identified as missing persons using worldwide police and missing persons databases. 100% of bodies found within SCP-XXXX have intact fingerprints and teeth, often despite catastrophic ██████ to the remainder of the body.

In some instances of opening SCP-XXXX, miscellaneous objects (See events SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-D) can be found inside. Objects have been linked to unsolved crimes in %60 of cases of appearance.

While SCP-XXXX's effects appear benign, prolonged exposure to SCP-XXXX results in increase in likeliness that the body found within it will be of a blood relation to the subject exposed. If subject has no missing blood relatives, one will go missing within, approximately, a one (1) week span of initial physical contact with SCP-XXXX. If subject makes direct visual contact with SCP-XXXX, this span increases to approximately two (2) weeks. If visual contact is indirect through a live video feed, this span increases to approximately one (1) month.

Class D Personnel have been placed within SCP-XXXX and the door has been closed to research possible teleportational/ dimensional travelling capabilities. Upon closure, all surveillance equipment begins to malfunction in varying manners, severing all communication sources within thirty (30) seconds (See events SCP-XXXX-B to SCP-XXXX-E). Personnel recovered within one (1) to thirty (30) seconds exhibit signs of severe shock and permanently lose all capability to communicate in known languages (Level 4 Note: Permanency is speculated, as surviving subject has not recovered ability for speech within three (3) years. Will adjust reports as a result of any change). No subjects have survived upon recovery at thirty-one (31) seconds and beyond, with recovered remains all showing signs of severe ██████.

Further research into interior has been suspended pending approval of expenses related to loss of personnel.1
