SCP-XXXX
Class: Safe

Containment:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in an opaque box that is to remain padlocked unless being tested on and stored in the SIV (Small Items Vault) at Site 19. In the event personel come into contact with SCP-XXXX outside testing they are to be debriefed and given medical treatment, followed by Class-B amnestics.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a handheld gaming device similar to that of a Nintendo 3DS in make and model, but without a battery. Upon making contact with the subject, the subject will proceed to open the device and turn it on, at which time the device will extend wires into the subjects fingers that touch the bottom of the device. The subject will proceed to play, unaware that the device is using the subjects blood to power itself. Any side effects the subject feels they attribute to the game(s) they are playing. SCP-XXXX will retract the wires when the subject either turns the device off or expires from the lack of blood.

SCP-XXXX was retrieved from the corpse of a teenage boy after a report was filed by the parents on 12/10/2016. Autopsy reports show that the boy expired from lack of blood, presumably due to playing SCP-XXXX to long. When asked, the parents told personel the boy had played on the device for a total of 8 hours before expiring.

Since this incident and its' containment, a total of 6 tests have been done with SCP-XXXX, with 5 out of the 6 personel used for testing expiring after the test was deemed complete due to lack of blood.

"We are still unsure how the device converts the blood of the subject into the electricity needed to power itself with just the wires that go into the subjects fingers. We are currently trying to open the bottom of the device, but no screws or possible openings for wires to protrude from are visible." Anonymous Researcher
