Containment: SCP-xxx should be kept in a locked x5x5x5 meter containment chamber, and remain sealed when not being researched. Armed security is to be posted at the door at all times, rotated out on two hour shifts. No personnel below b-Class are to enter the chamber or interact with SCP-243 in any way. No personnel is to press or otherwise touch the button atop SCP-234 for any reason whatsoever.

Description: SCP-xxx is a grey Metal box standing .8 meters, with a large red button on the top. A small brass plaque above the button reads: "PRESS TO END UNIVERSE". The items box is seamless, with no acess ports, screw or welds. It appears to be a solid piece of grey alluminum.
During the inspection it was found that the box was hollow, the only hole is on the top where the afformentioned button originates. Further scans showed SCP-xxx to emit infinitesimal amounts of gamma radiation. X-ray photographs of SCP-xxx showed it does have workings on it's interior including circuit boards, what appears to be vacuum tubes and [DATA EXPUNGED]. It was decided by Director [REDACTED] that it is impossible to accretion if SCP-243 is actually capable of ending the universe if the button is pressed, but the SCP-243 is in fact capable of some destructive action. the level of the destruction is signifigant, based on [Redacted]
Continued investigation of SCP-xxx has revealed little, but until the full potential of the device is understood, the button must not be pressed or interfered with in any way.
